In December of 2018 I hired Timothy as a contractor to perform certain repairs, bathroom remodel, toilet replacements and improvements to the bathroom and other areas of my home including changing out a water heater under the sink. We entered into a series of written agreements detailing the work to be performed and the cost. Timothy told me on numerous occasions that he had the skills and experience to complete the project. These assurances induced me to enter into the contract. Turns out he did not have the necessary skills or abilities, contrary to his statements and incorrectly performed doing significant damage to my home and other areas he completely failed to perform the required work. He showed me pictures of the other bathroom remodels he had performed and worked on. (Now who knows where those pictures came from because the results that I received were not what was shown) Initially he was on time and prompt working diligently. Then the problems started to arise after the demo work. He installed a water heater under my sink that was not functional and left it there. He started to not show up for scheduled dates and then started ignoring my calls and texts. I then decided I needed to move forward and I couldn't wait any longer to have this bathroom remodel completed. I mean I was now LIVING in a place where I couldn't even use my bedroom or bathroom. I was living in a separate part of the house. I even reached out to his wife Glynnis who initially sent the bids detailing my concerns - no response. Turns out he installed hardiboard backwards in my shower, promised a fiberglass pan in his bid but poured concrete on my 2nd floor shower. Tile work was absolutely unacceptable. I had to hire and obtain multiple bids following from other contractors who all stated they could not salvage the work and pointed out many faults to where I would have had a roof leak if I would have let the work continue to completion. When initially confronted - Timothy admitted that he was unable to perform as promised and agreed to repay the funds already paid and to reimburse me for damages stating that he didn't have the money I paid him and it was 'already gone'. This was over $5k within couple weeks time!!! He did make a one-time repayment of $1,000 but has made no further payments back to me. To date I am owed an immense outstanding balance in reimbursement for damaged materials and reimbursement for work not performed. I have brought this before a judge since December 2018 and have obtained a ruling from a judge for fraudulent and deceptive trade practices. Upon being summoned to court - Timothy has not showed up for a court appearance to defend himself and has not responded. The court has awarded me for deceptive trade practices not including attorney fees. Upon bringing this to the bank Timothy has conveniently closed his bank accounts. Now that I have the court order I feel it is appropriate to share my experience. Since he still further avoids any type of communication or trying to resolve this issue. I am now reporting him to the department of licensing to file a formal complaint against him & BBB. BBB has now down graded their business to a C since they refused to response to their requests as well. Look at the pictures and screen shots for yourself. It's ridiculous that someone who seemed so up front and honest in the beginning and has been in the business for so long decides to treat someone like this. Also shame on me for paying so much up front and being so trustworthy. He saw that I was trustworthy and took complete advantage of me. I've seen then been able to complete this job and am in LOVE with my remodel. No thanks to this person who calls themselves a 'business' causing me so much grief and stress. To think I was overly nice to them wanting to make it right and giving them the chance to complete the job after seeing the first day of the botched tile job. After the first tile job I should have cut my losses instead of letting them ruin more material. Expensive learning lesson for me.

Our meeting was very professional. He respect he gave me for the estimate is the same respect one would expect from a professional.
