Jon told us what to expect, came when he was suppose to and did an excellent job.

The owner (Jon) was very professional and extremely responsive providing a very cost effective quote the day after I called. The job was scheduled and started within a couple of weeks as promised. It was completed in 3 days despite the poor condition of the floor and cooler temperatures. The result was fantastic. My wife and I could not be happier. I would highly recommend Versatile Coatings

Jon did our garage floor and did an excellent job. He price was right. The job was performed when we were told it would be done. His helped us pick the colors and they were the right choice. It really made our garage look great.

Emailed me at 6am on December 13th that he was sick and wouldn't be able to make it to stain our concrete floors. Yes, an email. I had scheduled the 13th and 14th off so Jon could work on all of our bedroom floors. On day two I never heard from Jon at all. Again, I had scheduled time off and didn't even get a courtesy call, text, or email. So here we are on the 15th, all of our bedrooms have been cleared so now we have boxes throughout the rest of the house. The earliest we will be able to have someone else do the work will be on 12/22. We were supposed to entertain family on the 23rd, but thanks to Jon, that isn't going to happen. He will probably claim the job wasn't scheduled, but I have email proof that I confirmed the dates on November 29th. I should have known we were in trouble when he emailed me claiming I didn't confirm the 13th and 14th. He was likely never ill and just overbooked himself. I just wish he would have been upfront about.

The stain really dresses up the concrete and the color makes it pop, rather than jus the boring concrete look. Side benefit is that the smoothness of the stain makes it really easy to quickly whisk off the porch with a broom to get dead bugs/leaves etc swept off. I hadn't considered that before but have to say that its super easy to clean the porch and way less of a "chore" now. The stain really dresses up the porch and looks really nice. His options have nice color and texture, overall looks great and was a fair price for the amount of work involved. Highly recommend Jon and Versatile Coatings.

Jon did an amazing job. I am so glad that I hired him to do my floors. I originally called a bunch of companies to get an average price per square foot for the kind of flooring I wanted. He was right in the middle of the price range I found. I chose his company because of the email he sent with the quote thoroughly explaining all of work that would be done on each day. Even with the really long drive he had coming to my house each day, he was always there when he said he would be. He was very friendly and answered all of my questions, both before and during the work. The work that he did is awesome and I love my floors now. My neighbors are so jealous!!!!

It went awesome. Reasonable prices, and high quality work. We have a cowboys theme in the workshop, so Jon threw in a little blue to our spek. Love it.

On first day Jon had to prepare the Garage Floor prior to having Epoxy coating applied. Preparation included sanding and applying a Primer. Second Day the Dark Gray solid Epoxy coating was applied and afterwards my garage floor looked great. After waiting 24-36 hours I was able to drive my Cars back in the garage. After 4-5 days I noticed some imperfections and called Jon. Jon was gracious and came out to inspect and agreed with my assessment and made an appointment to make corrections. The Corrections were made about 5 days later and I have not noticed any problems since. I must say that Jon Vilhauer is an honest and trustworthy business person that completely stands behind his product and workmanship. He wants to make everyone of his customers satisfied and he has done that for me. I am satisfied customer and would use him again sometime.
