"Stay far away from this company. Original project went fine although it was expensive. However the past few months have shown me their true colors as I have tried to get some of the original work fixed. Be aware that they only warranty work for 12 months. We had the only four tiles on the step into our shower crack over the first year and I tried for months to contact them through email. No response. I finally left my name as a new customer, and they immediately called me (funny :)). They then asked for pictures and said they could fix it. I then discovered it would cost $600 to replace the four tiles they obviously installed incorrectly the first time. Correctly installed tiles would not all crack on the outer edge."

"Can’t say enough about Eric and the terrific job he did. I learned that he and his family have been doing this for three generations and it shows. The job evolved into more than initially requested during the quote, requiring multiple visits and days of work, with only a minor adjustment to the price initially received. All of this for what surely was not a “big job” for him, yet never did he ever show any impatience or frustration with my questions or expanding requests. Eric truly showed that he was more concerned with helping us fix our tile issue than anything. I will be forever using him as my “tile guy” from now on and recommending him to everybody else that I know."

"Dennis and Christian transformed our house and made it gorgeous! They refinished very dark stained cabinets into a gorgeous white with a grey line that made the cabinets pop! They also redid the crown molding throughout the house and repainted the hood of the stove top with several blended colors to be a masterpiece! They were professional, accountable and detail oriented. I highly recommend them!"

"These guys were fantastic. They are one of the few companies out there that that actually do what they say will do. They send you daily emails around 830 am describing the activities for the day and who will be inside your house. Their communication is great - they always answer emails and texts in a very timely matter. The master bathroom we had remodeled looks great and was done in the time period they indicated at the beginning of the process. Sure, you could probably find someone cheaper and does inferior work, however we wanted it done right the first time. Nic and Sarah and the entire team exceeded our expectations!"

"I had a deeply disappointing experience with this company during a recent remodeling project at my parents' home. While some aspects of the work were satisfactory, several significant issues remain unresolved: Poor Quality and Incomplete Work: Many areas were left unfinished or poorly executed, despite multiple walkthroughs and follow-up communications. Unprofessional Behavior: The team brought children to the job site without approval, disrupting the work environment. Lack of Cleanup: Dust and debris were left throughout our home after the work was "completed." Missing Documentation: We’ve repeatedly requested an itemized receipt and proof of worker licenses, but these have not been provided. They turned off our gas on a Friday and refused to come back to turn it on until Monday. We notified them of this on a Friday, and it should have been rectified. Terrible Communication: Emails, texts, and calls have gone unanswered, leaving us frustrated and without resolution. Additionally, we were bullied into signing off on completion of work (by Sapir) with the promise they would return to complete the issues that were pointed out. They never returned or communicated further with us despite reaching out on various occasions. I cannot recommend this company due to their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to meet basic standards of quality and accountability."

"I am so happy and pleased that I chose SJ Restorations; not only did he deliver, he was also very easy to communicate with. I had initially had flooring done by a different contractor that hadn't done a good job but Rich even over the phone told me that he could take care of my problem areas. We made an appointment for him to do his assessment, he gave me the time frame of expected completion which was just a couple of days and was done before that. He even went beyond what he was requested to do to let me know about other services needed at which he could provide. I will definitely use SJ Restorations in the future and would refer others to do the same."

"BUYER BEWARE: *H-Town damaged my carpet and couch. *Promised a refund and now won't return my calls. * Two other companies have come out and said both are damaged and would look worse if it was cleaned again. * Both carpet and couch were in perfect condition prior with no plans to replace for several more years. *Super disappointed not only at how gross they look, but even MORE disappointed and irritated that they won't talk to me, stand behind their work and take accountability. *Hosed!"
