Description of Work: I bought a deal from them. I haven't heard from them since the estimate. I asked for an amended contract. no response to my email.

Description of Work: Great, I just didn't realize that their was going to be additional charges since my house had not been painted before. I totally understand their reasoning and have nothing against Sun Painting Texas but I am not in a position right now where I can afford to pay another $1000 to paint my house, I have more important things I need to do to my house.

Description of Work: I made the purchase and couldn't get a time that worked for both of us. they were always very nice on the phone. I just decided to pass on the timing right now with Summer vacations. i would call them again. I planned to paint a condo that I decided to paint next year.

Description of Work: Sun Painting has been very difficult to communicate with. Initially, they would not return my calls. When we did schedule a date for the work to be done, they called that morning and cancelled. The work was then scheduled for a different day and they failed to show up. They have not contacted me to provide an explanation. Obviously not a well managed company and I do not want their workers in my home.

Description of Work: We are happy with the process and service of Angies List. The painter was very friendly and provided us an estimate that only covered approx 900 sq feet of painting when the deal was supposed to be for 1600. He said it was because our home required a lot of taping off. I just felt if we moved forward with the deal it would not be a win win. at the end of the day we did find someone who gave us a better deal.

Description of Work: I purchased the coupon not realizing that the square footage referred to in the Big Deal was wall space, not the sq ft of my house. When the bid came back, the sq ft was more than three times the amount I was prepared for. I had no idea it was so very expensive to paint your house. I should have researched the project more thoroughly before purchasing the coupon. I would have had to come up with several more thousand dollars to complete the work and I don't have the funds.

Description of Work: I ordered the deal to try and get the interior of our rental home painted prior to our departure. The company was not able to get anyone onsite in the time frame we needed. They did try several different times to find someone but were unable to do so. We ended up having to vacate the property so this wasn't possible.

Description of Work: I purchased the code on 3.19.2013. It took a week to get an estimate and then the work was scheduled and pushed back 3 or 4 times. My home has been on the market and these delays are costing me money. I am incredibly frustrated. The vendor should have simply been honest when I called BEFORE purchasing the big deal to be sure they could complete the work in a timely fashion. They were not.

Description of Work: Autumn came at the time she said she would, gave me the estimate and started the paint job when she said she would. Some outside repair work was involved in the estimate. The repair work was well done, all very neat and professional. Painting was done neatly, no paint on door knobs or hinges. I had requested the wall paper trim in the kitchen NOT be painted, but be left as it was. Unfortunately the wallpaper was removed and the area painted. Also I requested the front door and shutters be painted the same color they already were (a light tan). They were painted a darker pumpkin color instead. Autumn did have her crew come back and repaint the front door and shutters a light tan as I originally requested. Except for the those two items I was very happy with the end results and the speed with which the work was done. I will use her company again.

Description of Work: I wanted high walls in my family room painted and the high ceiling in that same room and as much as could be done down the adjoining halls. They did the job and took care not to damage my house or floors. The repainted old ceiling started to roll down and I expected them to charge me for a re do of it. Instead they offered to scrape off the old ceiling and replace it with the knock down ceiling I really wanted.All for no additional charge. They get anA plus from me.

Description of Work: The company twice said they would call back to schedule a day for painting a room. They never called back after talking to a rep three times trying to set a date. I purchased their Big Deal offer for 250 for one painter for 8 hours. I am in the refund process now.
