Sun Painting Texas LLC is a full service painting company serving the metroplex, based in Arlington. We are a local business not a chain or franchise. We are first and foremost a painting company. We offer a variety of services for your convenience such as wood repair, all phases of drywall repair and texturing, popcorn removal, etc. There's a very good chance that the person who assists you during the estimating process is Mark, the owner, Mark is not a salesman. This woman's husband shot himself in the room she needed to get repaired. Brain matter was still on the ceiling fan and ceiling. I really can't believe hazmat would allow the general public to work around this type of material. I couldn't stay on the room and I certainly couldn't ask my painters to. I'm sorry for this members loss but we don't do hazmat cleanup. I tried to explain this to her adult son who was conducting the bid on her behalf Mark

Description of Work: Never came for appointment to review the additional repairs of wood damage that would need to be added into job. Spoke to owner before purchasing to ensure they provided those extra services. House was 20 yrs and wood/trim of brick house had never been repainted since built new in 1990. Purchased service in 2012 but had family sickness and wasn't able to set up service after purchase. Called them in 2013 to see if they would still honor our purchase since they still advertised for same price and they said they would. Set an appointment for the following week and they never showed nor called for follow up. They still have our money but have provided no service

This member purchased a coupon in early 2012. Back then the procedure was for the customer to make the first contact. We didn’t hear from her at all until this review was written in June of 2014. Had she contacted us, we would have gladly done the work—still will for that matter. Had she contacted Angie’s List, they will refund her money—still will for that matter. Description of Work: Painted exterior of house. Between their schedule challenges and the weather it caused about a two month delay but they finally started the job. Finished some in the rain which caused some of the paint on rain gutters to wash off, but house paint stayed ok. Took care not to get paint on bricks, plants or sidewalks. Crew was easy to work with and cleaned up afterwards. Even with delays would recommend them again.

This work was done in 2012, not 2013 as indicated by the member. It was an 8 hour wallpaper removal job. I really can't understand why these almost 2 year old reviews are being sent in now. They aren't relevant to my company's performance today and I can't figure out why anyone would wait 20 months to write a review, good bad or indifferent. What am I missing? Mark
