The estimator from Sun Paining was the most helpful and knowledgable of the five companies I interviewed. Plus with the Angie's List coupon the price was in my budget. The estimator checked the paint and supplies I had at the house and explained why they could or could not use what I had on-hand. The crew arrived on time and went straight to work with enough men to finish the project in one day. I was grateful for that. I would have liked a follow-up call from a supervisor after the job was completed. The clean-up was somewhat haphazard. I found paint smeared on one bedroom window, two screws were not removed from the bathroom wall so now when I remove them I have two holes in the wall above the towel rack. They did not paint behind the toilet and there is a smear of paint on the floor of the bathroom the length of the cabinet and about an inch wide. Also they did not rehang the hooks on the backs of the doors. As the men were leaving I did notice paint on the stair railing and showed it to one of the men who quickly cleaned it off A call after the job was completed would have made me feel that they were interested in me as a customer and not just the money for the job. Also they have limited office hours so reaching someone is difficult.. I would hire them again but I would provide more supervision and do a thorough inspection before the crew left and the bill was paid. I would also ask for a supervisor to inspect the job with me before final payment.as there was a language problem.

Sun painting provided a very competitive quote and did a superb job on-time. Their crew worked a *very* long day to finish the job in just two days, and also accommodated all of my moving boxes while I was settling in to the house. The quality of the paint and the workmanship was excellent. The credit card option was a nice bonus for me too. Overall, I would put them on the top of my list for painting jobs again. Great work!

Overall, good experience. Mark was extremely friendly and professional on the price estimate for the work. The only problem we ran into was related to the timing of everything. Initially on estimate stated one day to paint the interior (which for our 2000sqft home was a bit surprising). Due to unforseen problems with a prior project, the start date was pushed back one day. We were informed of this and were okay. When the painter arrived, we were told it would take three days to complete the project. Dario himself was very knowledgeable and professional as well. They did a great job with the walls and would definitely use them again.

Marco and his crew got started on Friday morning and worked through the weekend and Monday morning to finish painting the our first home. They did an amazing job. They always chose to do something the right way over doing it the quick way, and I am very thankful for that. Every person that I interacted with at Sun Painting was both courteous and professional. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

Great experience. We bought a house and we originally only had a small window of time to complete the work so Mark was willing to work on the weekend (even Sunday!!) to get the work completed. The house became vacant a few days early and so they were able to start early. The ceiling work completed on schedule (4 days) and additionally we asked if they could also repair and paint 2 bedrooms. They were able to add that on and complete the project on time. We were very happy with the quality of work. One thing they could have done a little better was cleaning up. They cleaned up the house for the most part, but I found several staples throughout the house. I assume those are from stapling plastic sheets everywhere. It's not a big deal but I have pets and small children so staples are not something I want left around the house.

We've expierenced some poor painters in the past - one company even walked off the job half way through. Not these guys! They show up at 8:00 a.m. on the dot and work diligently throughout the day. Even handle little extra requests without any issue or complaint. Their clean, efficient and do an excellent job.

The whole job came off just like we wanted, on time, priced right, excellent appearance and no complaints or regrets. My wife was very pleased with the work and she has high standards especially about painting. We were happy with the work done and would not hesitate to use them again.

The company was easy and pleasant to deal with -- prompt and courteous calls to schedule the work, a 'phone call in plenty of time to let us know the crew would be late, and clean-up after the job. The problem was the quality of the work. I admit we are picky. The new texture doesn't really match the old -- the old was done with a brush and the new with a roller. The crew was friendly and tried it a second time when I expressed my concern. A little better but not good. Also, after they left, I noticed two small areas they had missed totally. We used this special to try the company out because we are planning several large painting jobs. Based on this small sample, I wouldn't use this company for the large jobs. We didn't call them back and give them a chance to re-do -- the job was too small and we can correct what we need to.

I was very impressed with his detailed explanations of how the work would be done and what materials would be used. Mark is extremely professional, and I will most likely be using him in the near future when it comes time to do the work.

I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal coupon for $75 for 3 hours of drywall/plaster repair. I contacted Mark Brozio to schedule a time to come by the house. Mark came by on Thursday, 2/17/11. He said that he was probably a couple of weeks out on the work, but would contact me the next week to get me on the schedule. He did not call me the following week. I sent Mark an email on 3/8/11 and again on 3/16/11 as well as multiple phone calls and voice mails. I did not receive a call back. At that point I complained to Angie's List on 3/18/11 and on that day I received a call from Ann in Mark's office. She scheduled the work for Monday, 3/28/11. I scheduled that day off from work. I received a call that morning that they were tied up with another job and would not be able to make it. She wanted to reschedule the work. I told her I could not take another day off, but if they could do a Saturday that would be fine. She called me back a couple of days later to schedule for Saturday, 4/9/11 at 8:30am. I cleared my Saturday schedule to be available for the workers. By 9:30am on the day of, the workers had not arrived and I had not received a call. I called both Ann and Mark and left voicemails. About 10 minutes later I received a call from Mark. He stated that the worker was having car trouble and was supposed to call me. Mark said he would find out the status and call me back. I never heard back from Mark on Saturday. It has been nearly 2 months since first contact with Park Row. I have wasted a vacation day and a Saturday on them. Today (Monday) I called Angie's List to request a refund of the Big Deal coupon. I will be having the work done by someone reliable and responsive instead.

Began job on time, finished everything except the painting the first day, returned following day to paint. Professional job and would use Park Row Painting again.

Mark came to give the estimate and was kind and professional. The estimate was very fair and he was able to schedule me for the next week. Work was done within time parameters promised. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the work. I was also happy with how neat and clean they left the work area. I have already talked to Park Row about doing additional work at our home. I would highly recommend Park Row Painting.

After two different calls to arrange appt and no ability to set appt I gave up. From Marks response I did set first appt for Monday and when no call or visit, I called back to reschedule..not a big deal, but when we spoke second time and he suggested I call later in the week I felt there was little interest on his part. And I made clear on first call my job in all fairness to him would be more than $75.00 but needed to meet him to review. His ad simply prompted me to call. Mark my recommendation would be to accept all as stated (it is true) and simply do not defend (as other comments on Angie's) but maybe thank us for taking the time to offer constructive viewpoints and then try a different approach. It is an opportunity to improve in one area, since most of your customers are pleased once having work completed. This is just advice for prospecting new calls.

The work went very smooth. They responded very quickly to my request for quote. Scheduling was only 3-4 days notice. Crews work quickly and finished on time.

We had a very positive experience with Mark and his crew from Park Row Painting. We chose them as their prices were competitive to Southern Painting AND they could do the light carpentry work in the bedroom all in one shot. Mark's crew was on time, respectful and tidy. We were very pleased with thequality of the work done. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Proffessional and competent from start to finish. Mark provided a thourough estimate, valuable tips and suggestions. He knows his business from top to bottom. He LISTENED to what we wanted, and then offered suggestions how to achieve our desired result. His suggestion to see Mickey at Texas Paint and Wallpaper was exactly what we needed, and she provided the needed expertise to coordinate colors. Mark was able to work around our schedule and everything happened EXACTLY when he said it would, and EXACTLY how he said it would. Everyone and everything was on time, every time. We could not be more pleased with the overall result. Cleanup was thourough and complete.

I would not hesitate to use Park Row Painting again...in fact....they will be doing more painting for me in just a few weeks!!!

Responded quickly to my request for information. Arrived on time and did the job as requested. Very friendly and professional. Will be using them again in the near future to paint my living room and kitchen. This is a fine group, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent work by all. Interior work was done prior to kitchen remodel. All work done on time and on schedule. Painters and carpenters left all areas clean when finished. Mark's prices are excellent. We had been told by another contractor that all fascia on the exterior of the house needed to be replaced. Mark showed us the fascia that actually needed replacing, which was just a small section of the exterior, saving us money. Very professional job by all. Mark and Chris followed up after the jobs were finished to ensure work was done to our satifaction, and came back to inspect for themselves. Highly recommended.

There was some miscommunication in terms of the paint that goes on the exterior doors but they did get it resolved within a day. They were agreeable to schedule changes and they showed up on time, but they did not do the caulking in all of the areas. They had to come out several times; I had to be more hands on with them than I am with other people. I would try a different company before going back to them.

I called Mr. Brozio for to get estimates for crown molding installation and beadboard on kitchen ceilings. Mr. Brozio showed up and seemed to understand really well what we wanted to get done. He promised estimates within the next couples of day. We never received them. My husband followed up with him about getting those estimates but we never got a call back from him. Then 3 or 4 weeks later, a Lady from Park Row Painting called us and requested another meeting to get the estimates. Luckily we had the crown molding job done (by another contractor from Angie's List) but we agreed to let Park Row painting bid on the job for installing beadboard on our kitchen ceiling. Prior to the meeting we requested a break down of labor and materials. Mr. Brozio agreed. A couple of days later we got an estimate of $4000 + with 2 lines describing the work that would be done (this was the highest and most unrealistic estimate we got for this job). I requested a break down of the estimate which he agreed to, and then refused a few days later. We've lost lot of time dealing with Park Row Painting. I would not recommend him to anyone. Watch out for contractors on Angie's List who do not get many recent reviews.

Before painting they had to repair quite a few damaged window seals, door frames and holes in walls. Anyone with scratching cats will know what a job this could be. Everything looks brand new. You would never know the frames had been damaged. They also painted all the kitchen cabinets and drawers inside and out. It looks like a new place. We couldn't be happier with the job. They were very nice, professional and easy to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
