It never happened, we could not agree on a date. Angie's list issued a refund.

Painting team arrived Saturday morning to power wash exterior surfaces. They returned Monday to apply caulk (extensively) and then actual siding and trim painting on Tuesday. Printers were very thorough in their prep workand painting, though a couple of areas need minor touch-ups (I'm picky).

Autumn, the Sun painting customer rep was OUTSTANDING. She came by the house at the agreed time on the agreed date and we discussed using the Angie's List Coupon. We walked around the house and discussed exactil;y what I was looking for. She was more than happy to modify the estimates to use a brand of paint I selected and we seleted a date and time for the work. It was supposed to be a two day job but, thefirst painting team to whom Sun subbed the work got the work completed ion a day but at the expense of quality. The caulk job was uniformly horrible. After going back and forth with the paint team foreman with no success, I called Autumn at Sun painting HQ and she came right over and checked it out. She agreed that the caulking job was poor and immediatly arranged for another team to come over and fix the job. The second team did a fantastic job and we ended up a happy customer.

I have been extremely impressed with the service so far. Autumn was the woman I spoke with and she was very friendly and courteous.

I wasn't going to write a review but I received a pop-up window asking me to do so. My experience with Sun Painting, Texas was one of poor and miscommunication. I bought their $475 two painters for 8 hours Angie's deal. A couple of days later I received a call from Sun Painting and scheduled a walk-through visit so they can determine the work to be performed. Three hours after they were to show up I telephoned them and, probably within the hour received a return phone call. The woman coming to do the site visit apologized about missing the appointment and, since she was on a job in McKinney asked to come by at 4 p.m. She did so and estimated the total time for painting the common area ceiling would be about 5 hours, with both painters painting. I told her that I was having some ceiling work done and we agreed to either the following Thursday or Friday. Mid-day on that Thursday I called and left a message inquiring if we were still a go for Friday. She returned the call saying they were unable to come on Friday due to the boss's desire to have coupon users on a different time schedule than their regular clients. We were going to aim for early in the next week but never did hear back. By this time I had lost enough time from work and contacted Angie's List about a refund. Within 3 business days as said in their e-mail I was informed the $475 would be credited back to my account within a couple of days and it was. I hesitated to write a review as I am pro small-business and I know situations arise beyond their control sometimes. Nevertheless, timely and clear communication was missing in my experience. While I hold no ill-will towards Sun Painting, I cannot recommend their services based on my experience. Hopefully, my experience was the rare exception rather than the norm. The $55 out of pocket cost is for the paint I bought for the job.

Sun Painting did a great job on the house. Everything went very well and I am completely satisfied with the finished product.

We have little experience with hiring contractors, but cannot imagine a more satisfying experience. From the first contact through completion of the project, they were pleasant, professional, prompt and thorough. Autumn was a delight to work with on the estimate for additional costs, which mainly consisted of necessary carpentry repairs. The repairs were completed very well and in a timely manner. The painting crew was wonderful! They were all very nice, friendly and most of all, more than competent at their jobs. They cleaned off my very cluttered back porch thoroughly. I was amazed at the speed with which they performed the work and all the care they took to mask off areas which did not require painting. Most importantly, our house looks beautiful! We couldn't be more pleased. As a testimonial, our neighbors came over the very next day requesting the name of our painters because they were so impressed with the crew and the job they did.

We hired them to remove some wallpaper. The job went over on the number of hour allotted by the Deal, but we paid them for the extra time. They did a great job and we are very pleased.

I emailed the company for a quote Monday night through the Angie's List link. I received an email back (I had requested an email contact so I was happy to have my instructions followed) within 24 hrs. We had a couple back in forths, but by the end of Tuesday I had an appointment for Friday scheduled to have an estimate. Autumn arrived on time and was very nice and kinowledgable. She gave me the pricing verbally and followed up with a quote within 24 hours. I had a couple of questions that were all answered promptly and the work was scheduled within a week of my approval. The guys that worked on my house did a great job. They were pleasant and quiet. They had a radio and visited and seemed to getalong, but I had no problem working from home. They cleaned up as they went and I was impressed with their attention to detail. Autumn stopped by the second afternoon to make sure everything was going well and that I was happy. Someone from the main office followed up the next week also to make sure I was happy AND I received a thank you note in the mail. All in all, the experience was great. They did a good job with the quote and were happy to tailor it to cover what I wanted and use the materials that I had already purchased. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.

Complete job was effortless on my part.

Had not requested nor expected gutters or garage door to be painted. Did not want gutters painted because aluminum was already correct color. Otherwise paint job was very good. Clean up left a lot to be desired, as large open paint can (with some paint in it) was left in back yard with paper trash. There is still some masking tape on house that I will need to get ladder out to remove. Grout was spilled on stained concrete patio.

Purchased a coupon for $199 for 8 man hours of wallpaper removal and texturing the wall so that it was paint ready. The two guys were prompt, and worked all day. The wallpaper in my rather large kitchen came off in pieces, some of which were the size of postage stamps. This was not the kind of wallpaper that you can peel off! They came back a week or so later to texture the walls and make them paint ready. I finally had them come back and paint the kitchen. Everything was done professionally, and it looks great. I would definitely use them again. In fact, I plan to in the near future.

They did an amazing job. They were very professional and friendly. They guys worked hard and did a wonderful job. I will use them again. They cleaned up after they were done.

I called the manager and he came out and gave us an estimate. Provided a contract the next day and began work the next day. They also painted the shutters that was not a part of the contract. Cleaned up very well after job completed. I would use this company again.

Originally the trim was painted the wrong color but that was at least half my fault for not being very clear about what I wanted. When I called them about it, they sent a new crew out without hesitation and repainted the trim without extra charge, even though they would have been justified in sending me an additional bill. You really can't ask for better service than that. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Went well - paint job is holding up and we are pleased with the results.

Arrived on time, finished everything in a day and then just needed a couple of hours the next day to apply extra coats of paint to new wood and areas needing a little extra paint. Cleaned everything real well, disposed of all rotted wood and tape and covering. Very professional and did a good job. I'm very satisfied.

It went real well, they did a great job.

They were very professional, worked to get us on the schedule as soon as they could, knowing we had a deadline with our HOA. They were able to come earlier than originally scheduled, finished the work in one day and did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend them!

I was told that they would start on the 24th. On the 24th the company owner was no where to be found. I spoke with him yesterday, finally and we went through a bid. They called me today to schedule an appointment, and when I spoke with them, they said I had to spend at least $500.00. The owner had told me completely differently, saying they could just paint one room for me. I felt the person I spoke with was down to me because of my race, which was very unprofessional. The whole situation is very unprofessional and I would not recommend them.

It went well. Crew showed up on time both days and were done earlier than expected. They were friendly and courteous. They covered everything they were supposed to and were responsive to my concerns. It looks great and I've gotten many compliments!! Really happy with their work.

We had our house painted to get ready to sell. Very good experience!

The workers arrived on time and got right to work. They put protective barriers down to protect floors and surrounding areas. They removed all of the wallpaper and made the walls ready for painting. Everything was clean and neat when they left.....actually in a shorter time than was planned. They did a great job.
