I had different vendors scheduled in advance - all scheduled on Wednesday for arrival on Friday. Had four different top Angie's list vendor scheduled 2 hours apart to eliminate potential conflicts. I contacted Sun Painting for an Estimate to paint the Exterior of my home along with a few repairs. After 40 min past the scheduled time I called to ask when they expected to arrive. They said they had it down at the next week. They then said someone could be out in an hour or so. Person arrived to give me estimate, didn't measure, didn't appear to look to closely at anything. I told them I would need the estimate by end of the day so that we could make a decision and let them know. They said they would get back to the office and write it up and email it to me that day. (Fri 5/24) The estimate was emailed on Monday (5/27) at 11:42 PM. By this time we had already selected another company, and they will be beginning work this week.

Prompt and fair estimate, workers showed up when agreed, they worked quickly and efficiently and finished on time.

Did not use this company or get a final quote. Called office to get information on $1299.00 coupon for exterior house painting for Angie's List members. I was told I needed to and quot;buy the couponand quot; and then call back with the # to get a final quote. I was to pay $1299.00 to get a quote??????????????/ I thought Angie's list was to help avoid and quot;dealsand quot; like this. Made no sense to me to continue with this firm!

Ceiling jobs were excellent. The finished ceiling-line in areas that were not completely repainted at this time, were knife-sharp and clean. The best ceiling job I have had in this house. Ceiling-line in newly painted areas was perfect. Obvious that they painted rooms after the ceiling, which is not always done by others. Painting was perfect. Woodwork was great. Darrio and helper were great to work with. You hardly knew they were there. Floors and cabinets were carefully covered in all instances to protect from any paint damages. Best I've seen. The process was long and drawn out. The person I talked to was not responsive and then claimed the description on the coupon was wrong. The person who painted was awesome but the administration surrounding it was terrible. The overall experience was unpleasant. The actual work and the worker was great. The woman who came out and gave me an estimate did not know I purchased a big deal, gave me the estimate which was less then the cost of the big deal and then proceeded to tell me why the deal was different. So I paid $1200 for the big deal when the job would have cost me less if I had not purchased it.

After a initial consultation, a schedule was set up and the work performed satisfactorily. The job was well worth the cost.

We took advantage of a deal and got them to come out and give us an estimate which we accepted. It seemed to be a long time for the painting to be scheduled. We were finally called and told the painting would be done the week of the 13th. We heard nothing more and finally called them to find out that the painters were coming on Friday. They showed up at about 8:00, helped us select a paint color. The team that came was a family and they got started and finished quickly. We had them refinish our stained front door and one gentleman came back to finish the varnish on that two days later. We are very pleased with the work and would hire them again.

Had to wait awhile for available date but it was not a problem for me. The scheduled day there were plenty of workers who were all very nice and pleasant. They got the job done very quickly and took care of all they said they would. I was very pleased at the outcome especially for the price.

Great work! Took a bit longer than I expected but it was worth it. House was completely transformed.

Everything went great. Very professional. On time and completed the work satisfactorily. We had one issue with the job in the spare bedroom and they returned promptly to resolve the issue. Very pleased with Sun.

Autumn was great...always available and wonderful at troubleshooting. However, instead of the two professional painters I was expecting for 8 hours, she sent three people....a woman (who was the interpreter), a man (who seemed to do all the painting), and a young man (who seemed to prep) and they showed up two hours late. There was a serious lack of communication from the get go....the exterior was the priority, yet they showed up and said they were starting on the interior because they did not have the equipment for the exterior because rain was forecast. After a phone call to Autumn, she had them start outside and they did a fine job. After 4 hours work, they wanted me to sign off on the job.. I could go on, but suffice to say, they did not understand what was involved and I had to keep calling Autumn. Because they left with two hours to go, Autumn sent two PROFESSIONAL painters to finish up the next day. They were EXCELLENT and what I expected on day one. Autumn made good on my expectations and I appreciated her hearing me out and listening to my concerns. My suggestion, if you are going to go with this company, just be clear on your expectations and keep Autumn's number handy.

The crew arrived on time, prepped everything for painting. They used a sprayer, would have like to have had them hand paint, but it turned out well. It was a rental property. Will use them again in future.

Sun Painting had the best pricing of all the DFW painters we interviewed. The owner was professional, nice, and informative. The crew that performed the painting was punctual and efficient. I would use them again, but there are a few things I would suggest to anyone that hires them: 1. Oversee the job as it is being done. There was one room the crew started painting the wrong color. When I pointed it out to the person in charge, he tried to claim I told him the wrong color, but I pointed to the notes he took during our conversation the morning the painting began. Fortunately, they had not gotten far in the room. Also, my ceilings are 20 feet and scaffolding should have been used. Instead, the crew used ladders. At one point, to edge around my fan, three individuals held a freestanding ladder while a fourth climbed up the ladder to edge. Yes, I had a copy of the valid insurance, or I would have halted the entire ordeal. As an attorney, I would advise any homeowner to make sure that this company's insurance is valid since they did not use the safest methods to complete the work. 2. Do not hesitate to go back behind them as they are cleaning up to see if anything needs to be touched up. There were multiple places that needed touching up, which they happily did in the places I found. There is one baseboard upstairs that desperately needs another coat, which I did not catch until after they'd left. Otherwise, it's been 5 weeks since the work was done and things look great! 3. Learn Spanish. Only the guy in charge spoke English, and there were times he had to leave to get more paint, etc. That made it hard to communicate with the crew. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we'd use them again. They were a GREAT bargain. Also, where our other quotes indicated the work would take one to one and a half weeks, these guys got it done in 2 days. And they were willing to work as late into the night as we would let them (though we kicked them out around 7:00 p.m. so our children could go to bed).

We decided not to use the service since the special ended up not being cost effective after all. Once we added the total square footage and painting doors and windows, the price ended up much higher than other bids we reiceived.

Nicely. Our only small concerns were that they seemed to rush in order to finish the job in one day and did not haul away trash - luckily, they painted just before trash pick-up, so that was not an issue.

They were timely and the job went very well.

We decided to do three projects; one, to repaint all the trim on the house including the front entry way, garage doors and covered back porch area. Two, to have all the wallpaper removed in the master bath, to add electrical outlets and lighting, and have new cabinets and countertops put in. thirdly, remove the wallpaper and repaint a jack and jill bath. We sought three bids that included the outside panting, wall paper removal in the baths, repair of master bath walls, wall prep and retexturing in both the master bath and jack and jill and painting of both baths. Sun painting's bid was competitive with the others, the difference was in the approach that Mark Brozio took to the job. Mark was extremely professional and thorough in evaluating the different areas of work we wanted. When preparing his estimate Mark asked a lot of questions to make sure he clearly understood what we wanted to accomplish, he also gave us a number of recommendations and things to think about in preparing the project. Mark's crew showed up when they were supposed to, were prepared, experienced and professional. One thing they did that I appreciated, they covered everything that might get hit by overspray both outside and inside, this included my truck which was parked in the drive. My wife appreciated the fact that they put down plastic everywhere they had to walk as not to get dirt on her carpet or floors. Working with Sun Painting was a rewarding experience, we received outstanding service and value for our money....thank you Sun Painting

I did not select Sun Painting due to the price (nor have I selected any other vendor due to lack of response, so I may still decide to use Sun Painting's services) but I would like to state that they were quick to respond to my voicemail, schedule a free consultation of my needs, arrived promptly, and provided a quote immediately without pressuring into a making a decision at that moment. I would consider them for future projects

Smooth sailing the whole way. This was a hard working group of men. Mark and his team are the best. I will be using them again!

I got three quotes and went with Sun Painting. Autumn was my point of contact and was very prompt in responding to emails, texts and calls. There was one hickup in the project as can happen from time to time but she immediately resolved to my satisfaction. The job was done well and timely. The crew was respectful and listened when I talked to them. I would definitely use them again.

All of the work was completed as agreed and was done well. The work was completed quickly and in the time frame expected. I was particularly impressed with the crew boss, Mario, who was very cheerful and pleasant to do with, and very willing to please and was flexible with me on a couple of items that I asked him to take care of for me. I would definitely use Sun Painting again and highly recommend them. Autumn, the scheduler/manager was also cheerful and easy to work with. I'm very appreciated of how the work was handled and the people that I dealt with. It's not easy to find a good match of with people who are both personable and do excellent work. Autumn came out about a year ago to give me an estimate on my interior painting needs. She was very friendly and promptly sent me an estimate broken out to show my Must-Haves through my Nice-to-Haves based on our conversation. For various reasons, we were not ready to hire a painting service until recently. I contacted Autumn again to see if a new estimate needed to be written up, but she honored the original one. There was some confusion around scheduling due to an old address on the invoice that I mailed my initial payment to, other job delays, etc. but the team showed up and asked to stay late so they could finish our entire job in one day instead of taking the original 3 days. This worked out perfect for us! They took great care to cover all furniture and flooring, and did an excellent job. They even sealed and spray-painted our ceiling vents prior to paining the ceiling, so it looks extra clean and well-done. We did notice a few weeks after the inital job that the master bath had not been primed before it was painted, but Autumn and team were very quick to schedule an appointment for the bathroom to be primed and repainted. Everyone was very friendly, prompt, and did great work. The house looks great!
