I bought this for my daughter and she is very happy with it. She said they did a really good job.

The crew showed up on time and immediately went to work prepping the work areas. I had recently had all the floors replaced with new wood, tile and carpet so it was critical that they were careful in ensuring that there were no accidents. They also turned a 3 day project into too 2 long days. Overall the work was excellent with my only complaint was in the attention to detail which was lacking in some areas. For example, in the kitchen, they were to prep and repaint the kitchen cabinets. In one case, a small 4”-5” cabinet door was ignored. When they were told about it 2-3 times, instead of painting it, they sealed it with caulk necessitating them to cut the caulk and paint. They had to come back again and clean the caulk off as they painted over it instead of removing it. They also left several small paint spots on the carpet near the baseboards in several areas and on the tile in the shower areas. Another issue was problems in communication. Only one of the crew (Supervisor) acknowledged speaking English. Had more of the crew spoke English, it could have reduced the attention to detail problems noted as we did attempt to tell them of some of the problems before they left the 1st time. I would uses them again as the work and price overall was excellent. The attention to detail can easily be addressed before the work starts and they also did come back and fix most of the problems we discovered with no complaint.

It went well. The people came, they prepped the house, washed the house, and painted the house.

Needed 2 Coats of paint on some walls which Was not told and ran out if time ( bought a special for 16 hrs of painting...2 men 8 hrs).....otherwise they did An ok job.....

Just as expected. Took 2 days. No problems or complaints.

Four man team was scheduled for 2 days; arrived mid morning of 1st day. Team was very well coordinated in pressure washing, masking, spray and brush painting, touch up, and clean up. Job was completed in one day. Used top quality Kelley Moore paint; excellent quality work. One painter spoke good English; no problem with communication. Totally responsive to my requests.

They were a no show on the original scheduled date. The walls and ceiling look great! They primed and painted the trim and panelling. Could have used an additional coat of paint. Had to come back and touch up several areas. Very good about cleaning up afterward. Polite. Not always timely.

The owner came and gave the estimates, the office manager followed up with schedules and what to expect. The painting team arrived on time, did an exceptional make-ready/prep job, the painting quality was great, details were tended to, and clean up left the house in perfect shape. Based on the interior work, I used them for my exterior (which also included a bit of wood repair), and I would most definitely use them again, and have recommended them to a couple of my neighbors. Terrific!!!!

Ii purchased an Angie's Deal for these services. When I called to schedule I was told 2 painters would be coming to perform the work. I was surprised when 3 painters showed up. When I made the appointment I was told 2 painters would be coming for 4 hours. I would have been ok with the 3 painters if they all worked, but there was a lot of talking going on and usually one of the three was standing around. The quality of the work was very good but they should let the homeowner know ahead of time how many painters will be there. The only issue that came up was they could not paint over the wall that they had to texture over the patches because they were not dry. I asked the painters to do all the cutting in for me so that I wouldn't have to get on the ladder to do it. They told me they were out of time (less than 4 hours) because there were 3 of them there. I asked them to call the office to approve the extended time that I wasn't willing to pay for. They called Autumn and she approved the additional time it took to do the cutting in on the wall they patched but could not paint. That only took an additional 15 minutes.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. They were a little pricey, but they did a good job. Actually, they kind of wanted to shake me down for more money because they said all these things were not included. For example, they would not paint my doors. They wanted something outrageous, like $400, to paint my doors. So I did not paint my doors. The quality of the work was fine, but I did call them to come out for some touch-ups. I had to call them a couple of times because we were having some weather issues. They came out to take care of the touch-ups I asked for. The could have doubled the price if they could have tagged on all the stuff they were selling as extra.

August who is the Operations Manager and one of the lead salespeople showed up on time, was very friendly and communicative. She is also pretty informal in that the bid was hand-written on a piece of spare paper. the price seemed pretty good. I had a general contractor meet me there as she was leaving and he said it was very competitive. I had someone bid the interior remodel of the house but didn't think they had the crew and equipment to do the outside so when I gave him the inside, it made sense to give Sun Painting the outside with strong positive reviews on Angie's List and a good price. I contacted August and asked for a typewritten bid/contract which she provided. I think she had some trouble finding her notes and asked me to send my copy which I did. They also wanted to be paid half up front and wanted to add a surcharge for credit cards. I didn't realize at the time Texas Law prohibited the surcharge so I sent her a check. They were supposed to start about a week later and they showed up that day to power wash, select paints, etc. The painter was a pretty good painter but he doesn't speak English very well. He had a woman with him who could converse better in English. I had sent August the colors I wanted over the weekend but they acted like they knew nothing about that. One was a standard color for Kelly Moore and that was pretty easy. I wanted the trim color to match the guttering I was planning to put up and that seemed very difficult for them to figure out. I finally drove down to the Kelly Moore store in Denton and talked to Kyle who was quickly able to figure out what paint formula to use to match the guttering. He gave me a printed color specification and said if I took it to the painter, he could work with that and he seemed to do fine. They left early afternoon on the first day which seemed a little strange since bad weather was in the forecast for later in the week. They came back the second day and painted the base color, (no trim). We then had rain for a couple days followed by cold weather. I think they came out Friday morning and started painting the trim when it was about 35%. I asked if that wasn't too cold for the paint. They didn't seem real sure about it but ended up quitting. They came back the next day, Sunday and finished the job. I had to call August a couple times during all that and I don't think we were expecting them on Sunday. They tried to tell me I needed to pay right then on the spot. I told them I would need a lien release and a little time to look the job over. We were able to work it out and I paid them a couple days later.

Autumn was my main contact at Sun Painting - she is a really cool chick who knows her stuff. Her color suggestions and advice were spot on, she was super-punctual and always returned my calls quickly. I also was VERY thankful they let me pay out my service in installments, otherwise I couldn't have done it. Total A+++ all around for that and the price, which was by far the best I was able to find! I was told the entire job would be complete in about 3 days. The only issues I had were the length of time it took to complete, and the complete disappearance of the crew about a week into the job, when they were almost done. There were a couple of occasions when I had to be away from the house, and I would come home around 2pm and the crew would not be there. I was very relieved to hear someone pull into my driveway early in the morning on what I thought would be the last day of work - but when I stepped out to speak to them shortly after, I discovered that they had taken all of their ladders and equipment and had left! I was very anxious to finish the job because I had to go out of town soon. Granted, the crew themselves seemed to be decent fellows. They were friendly, one of them maybe too friendly - I am a single girl living alone, and that kinda gave me the heebie jeebies ...but maybe he was just trying to be a and quot;nice guyand quot;... it was kinda not cool though. These things are the only reason I don't give an A. Anyway, I had a bit of a freak-out moment with the unfinished job and the crew disappearing with their equipment, and so I called Autumn. She showed up after hours that day with a couple of new guys, and stayed with them doing some of the work herself, and finished the job that same day. I was very pleased with the quality, and I was so relieved to have it done. It's a great little house and they made it look FANTASTIC.

They were very prompt with calling me back after leaving a message on the initial contact. We set a date for a consultation and the company representative was very professional and explained in detail what type of work would be performed. No upsell pressure just a honest assessment. The painter prepped in one day and came back the next day to paint. They were very detailed with the prep work caulking every crack and papering so that there was no overspray. I received a call after the job was finished to verify that it was to my satisfaction. Excellent company! I will be using them again for my painting needs.

Value was good, they were great, they showed up on time and fixed everything. They asked if I was satisfied. I will probably use them again.

It went okay. They showed up as scheduled. I felt they rushed things a bit. They were finished in one day. There were a couple of places that the caulk did not dry completely before they painted. I felt they could have cleaned up a little better. I had to call them back to repair some finger print smudges left in the paint on the face of a door. Overall it was really good for the price I paid.

For someone who might use this company in the future, following are the details of my experience: Upon contacting Sun Painting, Mark Brozio came to the house, assessed my painting needs and followed up with an estimate and contract. He was very professional and obviously experienced in his field. The date of July 11th was established as the first of two days the painters would do the work. I received a call the morning of July 11th saying that due to a family emergency the painters would not be able to start. First I was told they may arrive in the afternoon, then only after calling back I was told they woudn't be arriving at all. All day I attempted to establish whether or not the painters would be here the next day and never received an answer or a call back. The only phone number Sun Painting provided was an office number that is only answered up until 1pm each day. I felt as though there was no one with whom I could communicate or who could provide answers. That is the reason for the Fair grade for Responsiveness and Professionalism. No one ever called me back, but fortunately the painters did arrive the next day at the anticipated time. Apparently, no one reviewed the contract with them, which indicated up to 4 colors of Kelly Moore paint because they asked me if I had the paint. They arrived at 8:30am but didn't commence painting until after 12:30pm because they had to go a distance to buy the paint. Once they did get started they accomplished quite a bit very quickly. Autumn from Sun Painting did visit the house to make sure everything was okay, apologized for the lack of communication and provided her cell phone number. It was only at that point that I felt someone actually cared about my business. After all is said and done, the painters were meticulous in making sure everything was covered, as well as in the actual painting procedure. They were fantastic, and I'm more than satisfied with the job they did. I would use this company again for future painting needs because the finished product is great, but only after setting ground rules up front.

I did all the prep so they could come in and tape off and start painting. They showed up around 9:50am with no call to let me no they would be late. When the painter showed up he couldnt speak English so there was no way to talk to them. They stayed until 4pm and didn't finish the job. I thought they would be back the next day to finish because they still owed my time. The deal I bought was two painters for eight hours each. They didn't show so I called them back. They sent the painter back with a person that could speak English and said what I needed to finish the job would be another four hours! I expected them to give me the two hours they owed and then go from there but that's not what they did. The painter got a brush out and did twenty minutes of touch ups! Not the deal I thought I was going to get.

I would not recommend this company at all. Horrible customer service. I don't know how this company is still in business. The General Manager came out to do the estimate and I had to make all of the follow up calls to get the painting scheduled. Then, the day the painters were to show up, they never did. Awful company. DO NOT USE SUN TEX PAINTING !!!!

Overall it went well. They were able to complete the project in three days with final appearance meeting my expectations. Autumn was helpful, courteous, polite as was the crew who did the work. I am in the process of having my gutters replaced so had the work crew remove the old ones but leaving the downspouts which they happily painted. They were punctual, reliable, and asked questions as necessary and had great attention to detail.

Went great. They were on-time, neat and finished quickly. Still ooks good after a Texas winter and1/2 the summer

They were very easy to work with. They were professional and if I saw anything that I did not like they fixed it right away. They did not come out until the end of April, because I was waiting for winter to pass. My house was bigger than the square footage allowed on the big deal; I did know that it was going to cost more. They did some wood repair work on the siding. I would use them again. **EDIT** It has been about 3 years since this work was completed. The paint quality did not last very long as they stated it would. When they finished the job, I had called them the next day because they had painted the side of the garage when it was wet. They said they would come out but never showed up. I tried to follow up with them and they never got back with me. I can scratch the paint off with my finger nail!
