I received a couple quotes and Sun Painting was the best. They showed up when they said they would and had everything done after two 12 hour days. They work hard and the final result was PERFECT. I would use them and recommend them in a heartbeat. The final inspection before they left I could only find 2 very minor touch ups and they knocked them out in a couple minutes. Thanks for the job well done.

This was the best contractor experience we’ve ever had! From Mark to Teddie to the painters........everyone was punctual, kind, professional and respectful. They did what they said they would do (actually more). We had just come off of a horrible remodel experience that left us drained and gun shy. This company met and exceeded our desires and expectations and restored our faith in humanity.

This was my first experience hiring professional painters and before I contacted Sun Painting, I was actually referred to a couple of other painters through Home Depot that just never called me back. And now I'm glad they didn't! After I left my info on Sun Painting's website, which I just found through an internet search, I immediately got a call back and they scheduled for Mark to come out and provide an estimate the same week. My project was interior painting of about 7 rooms - some including ceilings, patching, wallpaper removal, and re-texturing - plus painting of 4 interior doors and trim. I promptly received a quote that detailed all the costs and they were able to provide clear, reasonable answers to any questions I had. There was a team of 4 painters who performed the work over the course of 4 days. Jose was the lead painter - he was very professional, friendly, and easy to communicate with. He never made any assumptions if something wasn't clear - he asked questions, gave suggestions and advice, and made sure I was happy with the results. The end result was fantastic - I feel like I'm in a brand new house! I will definitely use Sun Painting again.

Everyone we dealt with, from the office staff to the project manager to the painters, was professional, personable, and responsive. The painters were punctual and the work adhered to the expected schedule. They did meticulous work and cleaned up afterward. Would definitely recommend.

The process from start to finish was very smooth. When Mark came out to do an estimate, he was on time and very professional. He looked at every nook and cranny to make sure he found all the repairs that needed to be done. I received the estimate the following day. I was not yet ready for the painters to come out, and Sun Painting did not put pressure on me. When I was finally ready to commit, they set a date, and the painters arrived on time. I have a small house, so it only took them a day and a half to complete. Before they left, they had me walk around the house and make sure everything was to my satisfaction. The paint job is beautiful and all repairs complete. My windows and yard were left in the same condition they found them in. When I called Sun to make the final portion of my payment, I was asked about my satisfaction with the paint job. I believe they are genuinely concerned that the work is done right and that they maintain their reputation as an outstanding paint company. When the time comes, I will be calling Sun Painting to do the interior of my house.

These guys showed up on Monday morning & were done by Thursday night. (A day sooner than estimated, which is rare in our experiences!) They kept the work area inside really clean. Removing popcorn ceilings can be a really messy job, but they did a great job of keeping it contained. We had a couple of issues towards the end. I sent Mark an email & he immediately offered to resolve the issues, even though one of them was a communication issue. The house looks amazing & we'd highly recommend Sun Painting!

Got quotes from 3 companies for complete exterior paint job at two of our houses and a good bit of exterior wood repair at one of them. Selected Sun Painting based on competitive pricing and overall "feel". Mark Brozio, the owner, did the quotes and was very helpful in assessing the various repairs to the wood needed at one house. We had several delays waiting on the roofers to finish and then the weather wouldn't cooperate. Sun was very cooperative with it. Dario was the crew leader on both our jobs and is great to work with. Powerwashed houses, scraped old paint, put in new soffit vents and then put on two coats of good paint (along with a good bit of wood repair). One house took about 5 days and the other about 3. They cleaned up well after themselves and the houses look very good. Would definitely use again.

Great communication. Refreshing to have contractor show up as promised and complete the job in 2 days as promised. Comminicated the plan each day along with letting me know when they left for day. Job quality was great. Very happy and would highly reccommend them

I had the pleasure of interacting with Mr Brozio when I was seeking quotes for painting of cabinetry, interiors and exteriors of my home Mark was very professional and courteous. He was timely in keeping his appointment and in submitting his estimates. His estimates were very very competitive. I would have gone with him if not for personal circumstances that led me to defer the project. Based on my interactions and the overall value proposition (price and high quality material that Mark had included in his bid) I wholeheartedly recommend Sun painting to other users of Angie’s List.

Went great from start to finish. We used them before to paint our previous home 6 or 7 years ago. Fair price for the quality of work.

The entire crew was very professional and did an amazing job! They had the whole project completed quickly, without sacrificing quality. The very few things we did have an issue with were corrected immediately and without any problem. I will definitely use them again for any future projects we have!

It was a great job, from a quality, scheduling & customer service standpoint. Mark & his office team was very responsive & I appreciated that he was the one that showed up at my house to do the estimate himself. He also provided some pricing options that I had requested, that in the end, I didn't take. I also liked that I was able to put the deposit (50% down payment) on a credit card. They charged the remainder of the cost of work after the job. The actual team (Valente & 3 others) that performed the work, was very efficient & I'm very happy with the outcome. They contacted me whenever decisions needed to be made and were responsive to my comments about some items that they had overlooked. They also left the leftover paint/primer on site after the job. They started work on the project on a Monday morning & were done by noon on Friday (4.5 days, approximately 9.00a-5.00pm a day). There was a minor issue pertaining to some staining to the existing ceiling that couldn't be effectively covered by the primer on site. I was informed right away & a special primer was purchased/applied without delay to the schedule. It did add a couple of hundred dollars to the project, which wasn't a problem for me. However, anyone doing renovations should have a little extra budget for contingencies like this. Overall, I highly recommend this company. I probably could've gotten this project done for a bit less, but in the end I feel like I got what I paid for & I'm really happy with the product that I got from Sun Painting.

Mark was fantastic. He and his office staff are responsive, kind and professional. His work crews did a good job on the exterior, but there were issues with the interior job (bad communication, large areas missed). After much back and forth, they were finally able to come in and finish the job but it was frustrating and after we had moved in.

Very good, it took 4 days to complete. It's a very messy job but they cleaned up well. Glad we got it done prior to moving into our new house

Overall it went very well. For some reason the paint did not adhere to the new bathroom cabinets, so they returned, sanded the cabinets, and repainted with a different paint. Everything turned out great!

Extremely professional and attentive service. Mark held our hand through the whole process and the painting crew did an outstanding job. I took several bids and Sun Painting was very competitive. Great office staff that is always there to answer the phones. I would definitely hire again.

From the start Mark and Teddy were extremely friendly and professional, a real pleasure to deal with and talk to. Mark showed up and provided the estimate on schedule and it was a very competitively priced estimate compared with the second bid I received. I felt confident in my dealings with them and their reviews that they would do good work. The crew came out as scheduled and completed the job in about two days as expected. The crew was extremely friendly and I felt very comfortable working with them while they were here. Overall it was a very good experience and I'd like to give them an A but I gave Sun Painting a B for three reasons. #1 is the crew did not have a clean plan of the work that needed to be performed when they arrived. The office had merely texted a photograph of a computer screen with MS word document with the work instructions so I had to print the email from my printer so they would have the details of work to be performed. I was discouraged that they didn't have a better means of communication with the crew.#2 I was disappointed that Mark never came to our house to inspect the work at the conclusion of the job and I had to perform my own quality control with the crew. I'm not a painting expert but I found things they needed to touch up. I felt that Mark would have done a better job inspecting the work and instructing the crew to clean up. #3 The quality of the painting work, although good, does not seem great. It's been about 3 months since the work was done and I've noticed a few spots where the paint didn't hold up and a few more mess-ups than I did after my initial inspections. The carpentry still looks solid but I'm not an expert. Overall I am glad we went with Sun Painting and I would recommend them for good work at fair prices.

Good, sometimes late getting here, and then worked sometimes too late, had to set a evening timeline. I would definitely use them again, but make sure a definite timeline is set .

Sun Painting did a fantastic job painting my mother's house before sale. It was more impressive due to the fact that I had all work performed while I was living out of state, and my mother's house was in Texas. Teddi and Mark were very professional and very responsive. They let me know the types of paints that they used, so that I could go and find the color that I wanted painted. Between calls and emails, I was able to convey all of the appropriate information. The crews were very efficient, and the painting was completed in about 2 days. When I was finally able to visit the house, I noticed that the crew was very conscientious regarding prepping the area and cleaning up afterwards. My mother's house had beautiful hardwood floors, and I noticed that there were no paint spatters or anything after the painting. Additionally, I asked for some basic patching to cover holes where pictures had been hung. The team did a wonderful job. I would definitely hire Sun Painting again.

The estimate was competitive and fair, I received a phone call for a day and time and the crew showed up on time. The woodwork was done well other than a few spots of trim were buckled, it was done on the first day. Day 2 was paint. Wow. Those paint guns. The paint that got to the house looked nice but the shingles and brick took a beating. I spent 2 days with stripper to try to remove. Not so good.

This review is double sided.. Overall the final outcome is great. I am happy with it and so is the wife. But there were issues along the way that didn't need to happen and could easily have been avoided. First: There was an error in the estimate writing where Mark stated Kitchen and not Master Bath so the contractors where confused at first. Second: Mark who did the estimate didn't show up at a before the project, during the project, or after the project to check on things. Didn't even call me afterwards to ask how everything went. Third: I got different vibes from the 2 contractors that showed up at first and I went over everything with. The first shorter guy was friendly and spoke english so i talked to him and he translate for the other guy who didn't appear to speak english and also had a lot of excuses as to why some things couldn't be done, or were not done in the process: When looking at the drywall, he said (through translation) that would it be okay to leave behind the glue from the wallpaper if they primed over it. This would be a no, as I was paying for complete removal.... Then he mentioned a tight area between the closet door and entry door where he said they may not be able to get that. I said well that is what I am paying you for. If all of it was easy, I would do it. I called the office and talked with teddy her assured me they would take care of it. They did in the end take care of that stuff, but it wasn't a conversation I should have had to have. Fourth: The entryway door frame had some of the previous paint chip due to water from rubbing up against it when wet, etc. During the time Mark was out there for the appraisal, I showed him that and said I would like it repaired and he said that it typically happened, and no problem. Well, the guy that needed translated painted right over the chips and you could see them under the paint. No sand paper, nothing to fix it before painting it. So I mentioned that spot and he (again through translation) said oh that cant be fixed as it happened from no primer under paint. I said no it was from water as I had stated before, and that they could have at least sanded it before painting it so there were not rough edges and water cracked paint showing through. After the guy that spoke english talked back and forth with the guy, they finally wiped the paint off, sanded, painted and it looked great. Why not just do the right thing from the beginning? Fifth: (and probably partly my fault). Wife bought a new light fixture for where they took the old one down. Same size. Asked if they could just hang that one in the others place, the guy that spoke english said sure.. After the other guy came in, they talked back and forth while i left the room. He came out and told me they couldn't install cause they didn't have the needed backplate. I said id go get it and jumped in truck to head to Lowe's. Wife called to tell me that they said i didn't need to as it came with it. So I came back home. Then they guy said, we can't hang it cause there was a pipe behind the wall and no supporting structure... I said, what was holding the old one? He said it was lighter.. I said well okay that is odd but whatever. I left room. 30 minutes later they asked for new fixture and hung it anyways... Again, why not just do it?! Why keep arguing and causing problems? In the end, it turned out amazing and I know I wrote a lot about issues, but I would hire again. I just wish Mark would have come out to look, or called to address my issues with it so they can be fixed internally. I would recommend, but just be careful to talk through everything and be prepared to stand firm on what you need.

They scraped our popcorn ceilings, painted the ceiling, painted the walls, and crown molding. They did a real good job with getting rid of the popcorn ceiling. This included some drywall and patching. They did a great job.
