Description of Work: I had a sofa (with 5 pillows), chair and ottoman re-upholstered. Arturo did magnificent work! I wanted the wood painted a shiny black to match some other furniture I was buying, and Arturo took care of getting that done as well. The finished product is just beautiful. I bought my own fabric, but Arturo came out to give me an estimate and indicated how much fabric I should buy. In addition to upholstering the sofa, chair and ottoman, Arturo made some throw pillows with the left over fabric and a cushion for a vanity stool totally free of charge. We were in the process of moving, so Arturo picked up our furniture prior to our move and then delivered it to our new address once we got moved. Our move date got delayed several times, but Arturo willingly kept our furniture in his shop until we were finally able to move. I have had many compliments on the furniture, and I would definitely use Star Upholstery again. I think Arturo's fee was very reasonable and my total cost was much lower than buying a new living room set. Plus I was able to have exactly the colors and fabric that I wanted.

Description of Work: recovered a bedroom chair. Arturo is just so nice and professional. I have used him several times in the past. He has the best prices and does beautiful work.

Description of Work: Reupholstered two ottomans and covered 4 pillows with fringe. They charged $175.00 for each ottoman and $25.00 for each pillow. I provided the material. I gave them a B rating on Price and Professionalism because I sent them a picture of my project and they gave me one price of $125.00 but they later called back with the $ 175.00 figure for each ottoman. In my mind they should have honored the first bid. The quality was very good.

Description of Work: The previous reviews were right on target. The owner was wonderful. He quoted a price over the phone after receiving a text picture of my leather sofa cushions and when I arrived that is exactly what I paid. However, I received more than I expected. The welting on the pillows were not only replaced but, he also restuffed the pillows. I was so impressed by this company and the quality of work provided.

Description of Work: Replaced cushions in my couch. I had him re upholster two chairs before. Excellent job but the first chair wasdelivered the night of my gathering during the meeting. The second chair was delivered a week later. But he was great to work with. I will use him again.
