Description of Work: 27 windows... Great job! Would definitely use again in the future. Good, honest, clean, hardworking contractors. Never thought I'd use those words for contractors. Have been burned by very shoddy contractors in the past!

Description of Work: I live in a Centex subdivision, built in the early 1990s. The windows are cheap, contractor grade and the home is less than 2300 square feet. The rep scheduled to meet on a Sunday afternoon, but was 1-2 hour late. He only has 2 manufacturers he uses; both are the tilt windows. They seem to be excellent quality. The estimate was for replacing all of my windows was over $16,000, not including the cross hatches that most windows have. The Angie's List discount brought the base price to $14K+. (Hear choking, gasping sound...) Obviously, there's no way I can afford these windows.

I did some research beforehand so I had somewhat of an idea as to what I was looking for, but I really wanted to meet with someone first hand to discuss various options and to reassure me that what I thought I needed and wanted was the right decision. I called Smart Temp Windows based on the many positive reviews on Angie's List. I was impressed that not only were there so many glowing reviews, but the sheer number of people who took the time to post a comment on Angie's List about their experience working with Larry and his team.  + -1 moreHe measured and ordered windows (ready in 10 days). When ready, he called to set up installation day which we agreed on following week. He allowed 2 1/2 days for possible delays. He came promptly Monday morning as scheduled and finished Tuesday approx noon (1 day early). A large wall to wall drapery had came loose from the wall during the installation and he would not take payment on the whole project until the drapery was repaired (at Larry's expense). He had 2 additional people at start of the job, one of which experienced a death in the family and Larry and one other completed the job. Very efficient and very pleased with overall service. GREAT JOB!!!!!
Description of Work: Replaced 15 builder windows with energy efficient windows (vinyl frames) including large picture window with side openings. Another was very large perm tempered glass window overlooking patio.
