+ 1 moreA relator recommended them to us and we were happy with the work he did. They charge $250 for a home inspection and $60 for a termite inspection. We didn't use him for the termite inspection. And he is also licensed. On some things, they hire a man to come out and fix the things and some other things, I guess, he gave us a deduction on the price of the house. I was happy with his services. He's very polite and professional..
Description of Work: We used Silver Star Home Inspection Services when we were buying a house. We used them for appraisal and home inspection services. Mike Clarkson, who is the owner, checks for construction flaws, roof and chimney issues, slab condition and just the deficiencies in the operation of built-in appliances. He verifies if the electrical meets the current code and if there's deficiencies in current electrical code, he informs you about it. He checks the GFCI receptacles and he looks at the electrical box to verify that everything looks good in there. He pulls the cover off and actually looks inside of it. He actually went up in the roof and inspected the condition of the roof. He checked the water pressure and verified it. He provided an inspection report when he was finished and thoroughly explained it to me.

Description of Work: Mike was very thorough with our home inspection. He took pictures and inventoried all items that needed repair and those that may need repair in the future. He emailed us and our Realtor all of his paperwork.
