Paula from scorpion security fixed my broken alarm connection. I had trouble finding a company who would come resolve issues and not install a brand new system. All security monitoring companies except one or two dont fix issues in your system but just want to sell you a new system. Paul was patient with me as it was hard to find where the connection had broken. He explained me in detail what was issue and what he was going to fix. He could have easily charged me more than I was owed as it is very complex system to fix.
Description of Work: My security system would not turn on due to a connection being broken. Scorpion security representative Paul came and fixed the issue within 45 mins. It was great.

At 4:50 AM on 09/14/15 we were awakened by the alarm loudly going off. We could see what zone it was supposed to be, but since Scorpion had programmed the door and 5 windows in the Master Bedroom all on the same zone, instead of separating them, and had done the same for the kitchen door and 5 windows, without making any notes on the keypads as to what zone was where, we didn't know where the "break" was. We waited to receive a call from the monitoring company about the alarm to see if we were all right or wanted the police, but it never came. They never checked on us, and as of 3 days later, despite calls to their phone number which is not answered, and messages left for them to contact us, we have STILL not heard from anyone. They do not have a website or an email that we can contact. Apparently all they do is install systems and collect money for NOT monitoring them. They never even provided window stickers or signage for our yard, in spite of requests for same. I would caution anyone thinking about using them to seriously rethink it and use another provider. We have since had Hawk Security correct the inadequate zoning, add new batteries and contacts, fully test and activate the system through their monitoring center. We were lucky we did not have an intruder, just a bad system, but we wasted a lot of money for no protection at all.
Description of Work: This home security provider installed the DSC System in our new home (approx. 3000 sq feet), covering all outside doors and all windows three and a half years ago. They have never returned to check the system, or contacted us in any way, except to send quarterly invoices totaling approx $2500.00 over this time frame. We have had some trouble with the contacts over the years, which prevented us from setting the alarm, and had our builder repair them, but until two nights ago we never had the alarm go off, so we assumed it was being monitored correctly and we were protected by it. We couldn't have been more wrong!
