Don’t buy from them! Their delivery was horrible! The drivers were upset that I was not home an hour before their scheduled time. They were rude, wanted me to pay them to take my old mattress and box spring, and then left them on the porch when I wouldn’t (I had to haul 2 queen size pieces into the garage). They left trash in my hallway, in my room, in the grass, and on the street. They did not remove the protective padding on the nightstands or a cardboard and plastic tag that was screwed into the bed. I had to do that. The bed has a noticeable scratch/scuff, and one of the slats wasn’t properly installed. I want my delivery fee and delivery tax reimbursed. Even with pictures of everything, @Melissa and @Joseph at RTG are only offering me $100 because I had to pick up trash. They said that it’s. It negotiable. I know they can. My brother had to fight it until he got his whole fee reimbursed. I’m sorry, but I had to do part of their job! I did not pay $3000 for furniture and delivery set up for this! Corporate was awful to deal with too! Plus, I have to wait 2 more weeks for them to come out so that they can “fix” the issues. Not acceptable! If you’re going to charge $200 in delivery fees, do it right the first time! I want that fee back, RTG!

Went to Rooms to Go to purchase furniture . Upon finalization of the sale the sales person said call at any time if you have a problem. Sales person even gave us his personal cell number to call if he was not at the store. He wanted to make sure we were 100% satisfied! Wow that's customer service! They delivered as promised in the time frame as promised so we are thinking what great service. THEN it all went down hill. After they had left we started really looking at the furniture and noticed the backs of several pieces didn't fit properly and the foam on the storage area on one of the love seats had a very bad blemish in it. Later that evening as we were going upstairs we noticed several gouges in the wall, and boot scuff marks on the baseboards. How did we know the delivery men had done it? We had just finished painting the entire interior of the house the Sunday before they delievered getting ready for company over the Thanksgiving weekend. We called the customer service number and they said they would not be able to do anything until Dec 1st because of the holiday etc but they would replace the chair and send someone to look at the loveseats. They would also send the wall damage complaint to the delivery company. A couple of days later one of the recliners in the love seat broke!! We called back to customer service and was told an adjuster would have to come out decide if the loveseat could be repaired or if it would have to be replaced, but could take another two weeks. We basically told them that would not be acceptable as we were expecting another round of company for Christmas and why were they replacing the chair for minor blemishes but when we tell them a piece is broken they have to look at it???? Long story short after several calls up the chain they replaced 3 of the four pieces we bought. The second delivery crew took a chunk out of the front door jamb and one of the love seats BROKE again after they left! Called customer service and they are closed until Monday! Tried calling the store no help, called the sales person no answer OR return call. Hmmmmmm so much for 100% satisfaction. Now in the interim we get a call from a claims adjustor for the damage, we send pictures and the bill for 300.00 in repairs. Reader's Digest Condensed version.... the claims adjustor told us to "go to H***" they would not be reimbursing us for any of the damage. We did finally get 4 pieces of furniture that work and look nice, but the whole experience has taken
Description of Work: We bought approx. $4400.00 worth of furniture and set up delivery prior to our guests arriving on Thanksgiving. Delivery waas set for Nov. 21st. the day before Thanksgiving. All we want is to be reimbursed for our repairs in the amount of $347.44

They are a large company and I am very satisfied with the quality. They have wonderful furniture and they have set the store up very well with lots of pictures. Their environment is very inviting, and when I went in there, there were lots of people shopping in there too. If you have a lot of money you could just go in there and go crazy. I would go to them in the future. They could be a lot cheaper though, but on the upside, they have heavy, sturdy furniture. I had a problem getting the chest because they didn?t have it in the store, and I asked the salesperson if we could look for something else just in case, but he promised that he could get it for me. When he called me to let me know, he said that he couldn?t find it, and that he was still looking. That didn?t fit well with me. I told him that if I didn?t get the chest, I wouldn?t be buying anything and that I wouldn?t be going back to them. Within a couple of hours after that, I got a phone call saying that he had found that chest. During delivery, the guy who came out saw the Gatorade that I had kept aside for my son and he wanted it. He was quite serious about asking for it. I didn?t oblige, and so he asked me for a glass of water. I was not very happy with that.
Description of Work: I purchased bedroom furniture from Rooms to Go a month ago. I wanted a canopy bed and a chest to go with it. I found what I wanted online and went to see who sold it in Texas. I didn’t have to look around a lot. I called Rooms to Go just to make sure they had it in the store so I could view it. The guy who answered the phone said that if I came in, I should ask for him. We just went further from there. The only thing that I had to look for when I got there was a mattress. I found what I wanted there. It was real simple and I didn’t have to really deal with them too much because I knew what I wanted. They delivered the furniture as well.

MY FURNITURE WAS DELIVERED ON SCHEDULE. THE DELIVERYMEN WERE VERY COURTEOUS. THE FURNITURE DID NOT FIT THROUGH THE DOOR. THEY POLITELY TOOK IT BACK AND CREDITED MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT A PROBLEM.

EVEN THOUGH THEY DELIVERED THE WRONG FURNITURE AT FIRST, THEY QUICKLY CORRECTED THE MISTAKE. THEY ALSO PUT THE FURNITURE TOGETHER FOR US DUE TO THE INCONVENIENCE.

THE SERVICE WAS OVERALL GOOD. THE SHIPPING COULD HAVE BEEN MORE PROMPT AND ON TIME, BUT THE REST OF THE SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL.
Description of Work: A DINING ROOM SET WAS BOUGHT FROM ROOMS TO GO. ITS A SOLID WOOD PIECE WITH EIGHT CHAIRS, AND A CHINA CABINET WAS ALSO PURCHASED.
