Robert was great, and I was relieved to find out that the sewer line was in good shape -- my home is fifty years old and as far as I know, the sewer line had never been checked or serviced. He told me about some rust spots, which were to be expected, but that there wasn't much sense in fixing problems that I didn't have yet. When I initially spoke with Robert to schedule the appointment, he said they did not service Richardson. I told him I had bought a deal on Angie's List for my area -- he explained that they served more of the Metroplex at one time but that their deals and listing with Angie's List were supposed to have been adjusted to a new smaller service area. Robert's a good guy, and since I had already bought the deal, he came out and gave me great service. I only regret that I won't be able to call him if I have another problem!

Robert and his team are extremely professional. Came out timely to look at water heater and replaced within a few days. His team was on time and courteous. Definitely recommend and will use him again as needed.

I called them on Tuesday and asked the price of replacing our gas water heater in the attic. It was not an emergency, we were wanting to be proactive and replace a 13 year old unit to avoid a disaster. He gave me a quote which was the best we had gotten. He said he could be out here Thursday between 10 and 12. He showed up right at 10, performed the replacement without issue. He was very informative, courteous and gave us all the warranty info and easy redemption instructions. I will definitely call them again with any plumbing work we have. I highly recommend them :)

They explained everything to my satisfaction and cleared the drain.

It turned out good with no surprise. They came out and they were friendly, and they did the job. They did what they said they were going to do. They showed up within the time frame they were supposed to be there.

After having a few more plumbers come out to do the same thing, we were able to determine that Robert B's evaluation and diagnosis was largely inaccurate.

Robert B's Plumbing was a true pleasure to work with. I contacted the owner before I purchased the Big Deal, and he answered all of my questions, even agreeing to install an overflow pipe routed from the water heater closet to the garage at no extra cost. The Big Deal cost was $645 plus the city inspection fee, if required. I live in Dallas, which charges $100 for the inspection, so the total cost was $745. My regular plumber had already quoted me $1050 for the same thing. The installation date was setup very promptly, and the installation crewof 3 showed up promptly. They were very professional, very polite and very efficient. They turned off the water to the house, drained and removed the old water heater and installed the new one, flushed the air from the water pipes and set the thermostat to my preferred setting and carefully reviewed operation instructions for the new tank with me. They informed me at each stage in the installation and cleaned up everything at the end of the job. My regular plumber was going to cut a hole at the bottom of the water heater closet door for the overflow pipe, but Robert B's suggested a much better way that did not destroy the door gasket. Their suggested method was more work for them, but was a much better solution. I highly recommend Robert B's Plumbing.

Excellent. We called, they came the same day around the time promised. We tried three different unclogging techniques and failed. They came-in and fixed it right up and explained the likely food culprit. We'd be happy to hire them again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They came out the same day I called them because I didn’t know if I had to get the coupon. I called them beforehand and we made an appointment. They were convenient. They took care of the problem, and then I printed off the coupon for them. They were very nice, very clean, and were in and out within 30 minutes. I would probably discuss issues that I might have if they have the camera version. I feel that I can at least call them and tell them what I have and he’ll explain it to me very clear and he can give me an idea before he comes out.

I had been looking for a plumber for a few weeks to replace a gas water heater and the lowest quote I could find in Irving, Tx was $775.00. The job itself was pretty straightforward, as the old water heater was already upto code with flex lines, upper and lower ventilation, drain pan etc. All that needed to be done was to take the old one out and put a new water heater in it's place. But I found it amazing that some providers would quote as much as $1000 for the same. That's when I saw a coupon on Angie's List for $675. I called Robert B's plumbing to verify the deal and was pleasantly surprised when Robert himself answered the phone. He was very courteous and professional in his manner and reassured me that there would be no other hidden fees. Since I work 8 to 5 on weekdays, I asked if he would do the job after 5:30, but he couldn't as he would have to pay his staff overtime and wouldn't be able to do it at that price. Alternatively, he said he could have the job done on the very next Saturday, which was only 2 days after I called him. As promised, the crew gave me a call when they were 30 minutes away,and actually showed up 5 minutes ahead of schedule. They were extremely polite and professional. They explained everything they were going to do and got the job done in record time. They even gave me a free upgrade to a 50 gallon water heater, in place of a 40 gallon. Their work was excellent, without even the smallest cause for complaint. I would definitely use them again for all my plumbing requirements

,Very Well!!!! On time and on estimate and my Master Bath was spotless after they finished. the plumbing company and my tile installation company coordinated with each other to get the schedule correct.

A crew of three arrived ready to work and were able to get to my job immediately. My water heater is located in my garage, so I opened the door and two of workers got to work removing the old unit while the third went to pick up the 4 year extended warranty kit (upgraded anode rod) which I requested for the Rheem unit which was being installed. I was able to use the $675 Angie's List coupon and was charged only the actual cost of the upgraded kit (no additional labor or fees for having to go pick it up). The two guys that that did the removal and install were very courteous and helpful in pointing out all of the features of the new water heater. These are mostly self-explanatory, but it was nice that they took the time to point out the different setting and give troubleshooting tips should the pilot light go out. They were very conscious of cleaning up as they went and triple checked (or maybe more) the area to make sure no debris had been left behind and that all was ready for inspection. The city inspecter commented on what a great install job had been done. He was especially pleased with the extra venting that had been installed which was above code standards. All in all, I got a quality job for a quality price and I would use Robert B's for any future plumbing needs in my home.

Called the plumber for repair to leaked pipes at the front yard and side of the house. Robert came and changed the spigots and extended the pipes. The end result was beyond my expectation though the price was abit steep. No more leaking with minimal damage to the bricks wall which he had already told me before the repair he would have to take out some bricks. Robert was being very efficient and professional.

The Good: Price was very good and they came within 2 hours of when I called them. The Bad: Clean out threads were damaged by the snake cable so my clean out lid no longer threads all the way into the clean out pipe. A filthy gloved hand was laid across my newly painted wall surface. Roberts response was very poor. Initially he said it would be no problem to place a brass fitting inside the pipe to repair the damaged threads. When he arrived he said as long as the cap threaded part way onto the pipe there was nothing wrong with it. He said this type of damage always happens and there is nothing you can do to avoid it. I know this is not true because the last plumber pointed out how careful he was to avoid damaging the threads with the cable by guiding the cable into to the center of the pipe. Both of the toilets had started to leak from the base. I removed them and saw that the old flanges were completely rotted and that there was no concrete within a couple of inches around the pipes. There was nothing that the flanges were anchored to, which is why they had leaked and rotted so badly. The plumbers that Robert B's sent cut off the old pvc pipes, glued new ones with new flanges in place, poured concrete up to the pipes and then bolted the new flanges into the floor. They, of course, also installed the new toilet and reset the existing one. The builders of this house did a horrible job with the plumbing, so I am very happy to have called and had this taken care of. Until now, the toilets were never properly secured to the concrete subflooring.

I'm highly pleased. I have a big back-up under my house in the middle of the night from one of the other plumbers. They came out and it costed me $230. They gave me a bid that I would have to jackhammer through my kitchen floor. They ran a camera in there. They said that it would be $2500 to go under that and fix it. They also needed to fix the kitchen tile on my floor. I called in and he said "I'm sure I could probably do it for around $2000 but if I couldn't when I come out, I would just tell you." That was another one. That's when I called Robert B's Plumbing Company, LLC. They said "They don't have to go through your kitchen floor, just dig out in your yard and go under." He said :I could probably do it for $700." I said "When can you come out?" He said "I could come out tomorrow morning." They came out and it turned out that it took them two hours. He came in and said that it took less time than he thought he would. It will only take $500. I knew how happy I was. After saving me much money and being courteous, they said they'd come that morning and they came at the time they said. They cleaned up after themselves. They're coming back on Saturday to put up a new toilet in my front bathroom. He said that's where I was having my problems from.

Better than expected. After determining there was not blockage in the sewer line, they continued to investigate the issue by removing the toilet and using a snake with camera. In the end, it was determined it was a faulty toilet. I replaced the toilet and all is good now.

Everything was done. They got things done quickly and professionally. Was very happy.

We had a clogged main line in our house over the weekend. Robert was able to come out Mon AM, and cleared the line out in about an hour, (for $124), & even let me know that our water on/off valve was broken. I was happy with the service. Tues things were fine, & we left Wed for a trip. We came back Fri. Sat the line was clogged again. I called him & explained the situation: that we had been out of town & I doubted we could have clogged the toilet in only 2 days. He told me the line was flushing out fine when he left, but that he'd be able to come out that morning & re-clean it. He called me back and said he'd have to charge me because our pipes were non-warranty pipes as they're cast iron. And that's why I'm saying he doesn't stand by his work. I'd understand his no-warranty policy if I HADN'T told him that it had been two days of usage since he cleaned the lines. He also never mentioned that my pipes had no warranty. Not once. As my drain is still clogged, I'm unhappy with his service

Robert B's Plumbing Services was excellent. he was thorough with his work and intense with everything. He had the city come out to test and when they saw a problem, he reported it immediately to us and got the work on correcting the problem.

The plumber was on time and efficient. They got the drain line cleared, explained why my line tends to clog and were on their way. I was very happy with the results.

Purchased their coupon after calling to ensure that they serviced my area. Even though I was outside of their normal area, they offered to make an extension as they were going to be close to me later in the week. Service was great and everything went smoothly.

On July 3rd we woke up with a garage full of water as one of our water heaters began gushing water. I called Robert and told him of our situation. He told me he could have someone out the next day to replace it at a more competitive price that three other companies I called. I told him that would be great but we really did not want to be without water for a full day (the valve to shut off water to the water heater was faulty, so we had to cut all water off). Robert had a crew in the area and sent someone over to bypass the faulty water heater so we could turn the water back on to the house. He did this at no charge and even told us that if we wanted to just stick with the one water heater we had working that he would be fine with that. I asked if he thought the second heater would go out soon and he stated that typically putting a new unit next to an older unit will lead to the other going out within six months. Robert did not pressure me to get the second, which was nice. After confirming through research that it would probably go out soon we decided to have both of them replaced. Robert gave us an unbelievably competitive turnkey price for both heaters. His crew showed up the next day on July 4th right at the time they said they would be there. They completed the work and when I went out to inspect it I noticed that they had installed some extra safeguards that were not there before at no charge. The installation looked perfect and actually looked much cleaner than the previous installation. Overall, we could not be more satisfied with our experience.
