The service was EXCELLENT! We found water pooled up in our master bedroom and in the garage on Saturday evening, March 15th. They are right next to each other. I went to Angie's List and left messages for 4 plumbers on Sunday morning. Robert B's actually returned the call late Sunday afternoon. He told us that his teams were busy but he would have someone stop by in the morning around 9:00am on the way to another job. Promptly at 9:00, two men showed up, located the leak under the slab/foundation and gave us an estimate and advice on the best way to fix the leak. They also showed us how to turn the hot water on and off just long enough to take showers. Up to this point we had shut off water to the whole house so this was a huge help so that at least we would have running water. My wife and I received an estimate from 3 different plumbers. Our insurance company wanted us to go with the plumber that they partnered with. We did not get a good feeling about their plumber when he came by. We selected Robert B's and it was the right choice. When we called to make the appointment, we expected to wait 3 to 4 days to fit into their schedule. I think it was Robert that called us back and said that he would have the same team that did the estimate to be at our house first thing in the morning. Murphy, Nick and Jordan came out to the house and did an AWESOME job fixing the leak. They went even further and cleaned out the shower and bathroom fixtures that may have had sediment build up because of the leak. They were not in a rush and they completed the job sooner than expected so the final bill was LESS than what they had originally estimated. This is a great company with great staff all around. I highly recommend them.

They did a great job. If I ever have any concerns, they will send someone out the next day to check it out. They were punctual and professional. I would recommend their services.

Called Robert B's on Tuesday for the installation of a new garbage disposal. I told them it was not an emergency situation so I was quite pleased that my appointment was set for the next morning. Jason and Ray arrived not only on time, but 30 minutes early! Both gentlemen were courteous and professional, and worked efficiently together. We had already purchased the disposal that we wanted so the cost reflects the service call and labor. I thought it was a reasonable price, and will not hesitate to call Robert B's again, should the need arise.

They had integrity, their price was good. We like their style, we haven't had the work completed just yet but we are satiusfied with hiring them to move forward in the process.

We had an overflow of water into our house a couple of months ago and used Freedom Plumbing (with an $88 drain cleaning coupon purchased on Angieslist--see other review) to clear the drain. We learned that there was a crack in the pipe and roots growing into it from some bushes out front. We were given an estimate of $1,200 by Freedom Plumbing to repair the cracked pipe. This wasn't in our budget at the time, but once we were prepared to move forward we contacted Robert B's (who replaced our hot water heater last year--see other review) and they came out quickly to provide an estimate. The estimate from Robert B's was for $450 (almost a third of the other estimate). The work was done within 2 days of the estimate . They even removed 3 bushes from the front of the house (after asking our permission) to keep the roots from being a problem again in the future. We were pleased with our first experience with Robert B's. Now, after our second experience, we will not be using anyone else for our future plumbing needs. They are very professional, timely, and reasonable with their pricing for services.

I purchased the deal to have a main line cleaned, but when they showed up they quoted me close to $100 additional to clean that line. I declined and just had them snake the house plumbing.

Great job! They were affordable, showed up on time, knew what they were doing, completed both installations in under two hours and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely use them again in the future.

They did what was needed. Scheduling went fine after I had purchased the deal through Angie’s list. It was an in and out kind of job. I was satisfied with the drain cleaning results.

I purchased a drain cleaning service for stopped up drains. The very next day my rental property had a drain that was stopped up so I called and scheduled an appointment. The tech came, spent approximately 15-20 minutes there, ran a cable down the drain, didn't pull up anything and said it was all clean. Five days later the drain was stopped up again. I called Robert B's Plumbing again and they said there was no warranty on their drain cleaning service and that it would cost another service charge to come out and clean the drain ($125.00). He said it didn't matter if it was the next day, or one week later, there was no warranty and they wouldn't come back out. I called my regular plumber and they came. They ran the cable a long way down the drain, pulled up debris and tree roots and I haven't had any problems since then and it's been over 3 months now. They warranty their work by the way and would have gladly come out within 30 days, without charge, if the drain had stopped up again.

Two guys showed up, on time and after calling in advance. They were very quick. They gave me some tools and brief instructions about my new disposal. A drain cleaning was a part of the deal I purchased here, and I'm only guessing they did that. I was mainly concerned about replacing my broken disposal, so I didn't even ask about the cleaning and I don't recall it being mentioned.

The plumber and assistant arrived on time. I took them to the master bath to identify the problem and what part was needed. They both left to purchase the needed parts. Upon return, I mentioned this is a job through Angie's List. When they completed the repair, I was given a bill for $ 200. I paid them in full. IS THIS NORMAL ???

I Solicited bids from 4 companies, 3 of which were on Angies List. Robert' B's was competitive with the others. I purchased the faucets, they did all the rest. Arrived on time at 9 am, with goal to complete entire list of items in one day. Had 5 plumbers here. They had all the equipment and materials required as well. They tackled the water heaters first, with additional guys removing faucets. All the existing stuff was removed without issues. New installs went pretty well. A couple of hiccups. One of the faucets I purchased was defective. This was not determined until about 3 pm. They waited until i returned it to Lowes and then reinstalled it. One faucet we had to wait until Friday to install, but they were here at 8 am to get it done. Following Monday, inspectors found one problem with the water heater check valve. I called Robert' back and his team was here within 15 minutes to fix the problem. Determined it was an existing problem not related to their install, but they fixed it to bring it up to code with the inspectors. When you have 5-6 guys running around the house, it can be fairly hectic. They did a great job in keeping the disruptions to a minimum. Worked straight from 9am to 5 pm without a break. All very professional, clean, respectful and kept me informed through out the day. I was very pleased with every aspect of their work. I would definitely hire them again. A big job with OUTSTANDING results.

Was hoping to get 3 drains cleaned and when I called he stated that the price would be about $200 a piece and actually did not act interested in pursuing it.

Installed two solar powered attic fans. They even repaired a potential leak area at no extra charge. The crew cleaned up and removed all debris.

I called Robert because my rental house had been struck by lightning and the water heater no longer worked. My handyman looked at it and said I needed to replace the entire water-heater. I called Robert because he had a coupon on Angie's List for replacing a water heater and it was a really good deal. To my surprise, Robert said I didn't need a new water heater, just a new electrical component. Thus, instead of spending the $700 I was expecting, I spent $150. Got to love a plumber who saves you $500! Oh, and Robert was able to do it within 24 hours from the time I called. Great service!

They were done in about 10 minutes, good job.

It didn't really go well. The guy came out and said, "Well, there is nothing wrong with it." He did a couple of things just to push through whatever was there but it's still happening now. I wasted my money purchasing it. So it didn't really help me. I think they came out the next day. They were pretty quick but they said there was nothing wrong with it. The flush is exactly the same as that on my master bedroom. The guy said, "Well, I don't know. Even if it's the same may be there is a difference." He put in some dye to see if it works and it's going down. Sometimes it's going down and sometimes it's not. One time it goes down and the the next time it doesn't. We have to do that almost like 3 or 4 times a day. It's exactly the same problem as before he came. He says, "That's the way it is." He went over to the other bathroom to just compare and see and he said, "Well, the other one flushes stronger." So the water doesn't go down fast enough. We just do normal stuff like the other one. I don't know if something is clogged down there. That's why I called them. But he came and said there was nothing wrong with it and that's the way it is. I don't think he has really fixed anything. This was the first time I used them. I don't know what he did and they didn't know either. So basically it was a waste of money. To me, actually the job is more important than the time they take to respond. I would say the price was awesome if the service would have been great. The guy is nice and there was nothing wrong about their profession or anything but they just didn't figure out what's wrong with it, the job I asked for. They looked like they know what they're doing. They cleaned up after themselves and they made sure there was no mess. The reality is they didn't do the job. I would not use them again unless they come out and fix it for me until I'm satisfied. Then I may consider it. If they came out and troubleshoot and fix it it's great. If not is they can recommend that this is the problem and this what you would need to fix it that would be great.

The two workmen were courteous and helpful. They were efficient and fixed the problems quickly. I will admit, I would have preferred non-smokers, since the smell of cigarette smoke was quite strong. Other than that, I would recommend them highly.

Lousy doesn?t even begin to describe the experience with this vendor. I found them on Angie?s list and they had a ?Big Deal? offer, which Robert said he would honor the pricing, but don?t purchase thru Angie?s List since they take a commission. Since he was located in Mansfield, I wanted to make sure he would do work in Carrollton, which he said he did work in Carrollton all the time ? no problem. Ok great! We got the water heater replacement scheduled, which was suppose to include an expansion tank, since he said the City of Carrollton required. The guys showed up with no expansion tank and when they were doing the walk-thru with me and I mentioned it, they had to go find a vendor to buy the expansion tank and then come back to install it ? took an extra two hours. We set up the city inspection to occur about 10 days later. At a friend?s recommendation I called the city the morning of the inspection to request an early appointment, they didn?t have me on their list to inspect that day and didn?t have Robert B?s as a vendor. I called and spoke directly to Robert who assured me he had done 50+ water heater installations in Carrollton that year alone, and that the city must be mistaken. I call back the city, who said their records go back to the early 1990s and they have no record. Robert had to go in person, submit an application to be a vendor and then pull my permit. Since this wasn?t complete prior to 11:30 (which I had told Robert was the city?s deadline), they weren?t able to do my inspection that afternoon (after I had already made special accommodations to work from home). The city worker ended up taking pity on me and got me squeezed in that afternoon. When the inspector came by, we failed the inspection because of course since Robert hadn?t ever done work in the city, he didn?t know the requirements. Great. That Saturday, they came back to get the necessary changes taken care of. We got a new requested date for inspection. The day before the inspection, I once again called Robert to confirm the appointment, which he said was taken care of and that I should have gotten a call from his office manager already. When I called the city immediately later, they confirmed that I wasn?t on the schedule. Two hours later, I get a call from the office manager she said the city was booked the afternoon I requested so I?d need to do that morning. I shared my frustrations with her and she confirmed that they had never done work in Carrollton and that the second inspection wasn?t requested until after I had followed up. The MOST disappointing part of this entire experience was being lied to over and over again by the owner of the business. I would have been far more understanding if he had just said, no I?ve never done work in Carrollton, but will to get your water heater installed. I will also be filing a formal complaint with the Texas State Board of Plumbers.

Robert came out and used snake to unclog. Had some scratches on a sink but he had another guy come out (took about a week and a reschedule due to other guy) to buff out scratches. No issues though and would recommend.

It went very well. The guy was very personable, very nice and on time. I would use them again.
