Description of Work: Cleared clogged drain, replaced flapper in toilet, minor fix to second toilet, fixed stopper in sink so it would stay down and repaired leaky kitchen faucet. I just had some minor fixes and repairs that I could not do myself. It was well worth $99.00!

Description of Work: Our kitchen sink was completely clogged. They were able to unclog it from the kitchen and then went outside and de-clogged it from there as well just to make sure the line was completely clear.

He went right to work and was finished within 20 minutes or so. I had another issue come up so he was willing to do that job too for a very reasonable price. + -1 moreI was given a 10-12 time slot, but they didn't show up until 4. They were all business and grumpy due to an emergency call. That said though, they did a pretty good job. The only complaint I had about the job itself was that they didn't bleed the air out of the lines after turning the water back on so I got a bit of a surprise the first time I used the water after they left.

+ 1 moreI am incredibly happy with the service received. Robert B's Plumbing went way above and beyond the $149 deal that I paid for. Because my mother is elderly and has short-term memory loss, I am always a little nervous about sending over a service company. When I made the appointment, they totally understood my situation. They called me when they were an hour away, giving me time to leave work and meet them there. They were right on-time. They were very clean in their work inside of the house. They were fast and efficient. They took time to show me the images that they were seeing on the camera equipment and to describe the location of the line breaks. They wrote a full description of the findings on the work ticket, including their offer to come back and meet with the city sewer department to discuss their findings. About the video line inspection: this is pretty great equipment! Like a colonoscopy of your sewer lines! The picture is clear and the camera has a locator on it which gives them the ability to tell you with great accuracy where (under your lawn or under your house) the line break is located.
Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's List Deal for Drain Cleaning Plus Video Line Inspection. My elderly mother's home, built in 1976, has had increasingly frequent sewer stoppages. I suspected that there might be an issue with the sewer line. When I saw the deal for the drain cleaning plus video line inspection (and the price was about the same as a standard drain cleaning service) I purchased the deal. I called the plumbing company early in the morning and they were able to come out the same day between 12 and 2. At the time we had a slow kitchen sink line (the east side of the house) and a toilet/tub backup (the west side of the house.) I also mentioned that the toilet in the hall/center bathroom was unstable and needed to be reset/bolted down properly. They unstopped the toilet/tub backup (evidently a paper stoppage.) They ran the kitchen sink line. They ran the sewer line from the house to the street. They pulled the hall/center toilet and ran the line from there to the main sewer; then put in a new wax ring and reset the toilet. The camera work was done from just outside the front of the house, both toward the street and then up under the house. From the house to the street, the camera inspection showed 4 line breaks with tree roots coming in close to the street -- the location is so close to city easement that we need the city to inspect and determine if they are responsible for fixing these breaks. From the front of the house heading back up under the structure, they found a broken and separated pipe located 23 ft. from the front edge of the house. This is the break that was causing the kitchen sink to run slowly and the periodic back-ups into the tub in the center of the house. All of this work and diagnosis was completed on the first visit by two men, Murphy and Nick, without any additional charges. Everything described above for the $149 Angie's List Deal.

He quoted a time and they were here ahead of time (I was very happy about that). Both of the men were professional and polite and got right to work. They had the drain line cleaned out very quickly and answered all my questions, which was very nice of them. I could not be happier and highly recommend them.

Robert B's fit our needs, so we contacted him through Angie's List. He almost immediately responded, and we set up an appt. Robert called us to let us know he was on his way and was right on time. He surveyed the issue and came up with a solution. He was thoughtful and kind in describing the issue, and he worked with us on getting it finished. His guys came out to complete the job the next morning, and we haven't had any problems since. Great company!
Description of Work: Robert and his crew were very kind and helpful. I have a tub that keeps getting stopped up. Robert helped us with his state of the art equipment/video to show us the exact problem. (Has been a mystery for 10 yrs.) He was able to take care of the main issue, and then he told us how to fix the other half. He was able to squeeze me in the next morning with more of his guys to complete the job. They cleared up the problem, and we will most definitely call Robert B's our go-to plumbing company.

+ -1 moreOverall the installation went very well. The job was originally set-up to begin at 8:30 but due to weather conditions (icy streets) was moved back to 10:30. They arrived on time and went right to work. Upon removal of the old toilet they found that the floor flange was not set properly and had to fix that and then install the new fixture. Total time involved was approximately one and a half hours. I am very satisfied with the install and the way that they did it.

The plumbers came out the same day I called and determine that their was no water leak but had no idea why there is water damage surrounding the faucet. So no work was done.

I had just had recent foundation work done on my house and the contractor recommended that I have a plumber come over and check for slab leaks. He had a plumber he used that would charge $200 - $250 for the check but I had used Robert B before and wanted to use him. I called Robert and told him what I needed and Robert said he could save me a $200 call if I would just go out and remove my water meter cover and if all the water was turned off in my house and the meter wasn't moving, I should be fine. Thanks Robert for helping me out again and saving me money.

The gentlemen came over and performed several different tasks: Unclogged a bathtub drain, analyzed two toilet issues, replaced the hardware in both toilets, and resealed one toilet at the bottom.

+ 0 moreI have not had the opportunity to inspect it. My renters tell me they did the job. It is my understanding that they showed up when they were supposed to. So it is hard to give a review not having seen it. I can only say the inspector passed me. Pricewise, I believe it was a good deal and I would consider hiring them again.
Description of Work: They repaired the water heater. I had been informed by the city inspector that it was not up to code and needed to be lifted and the connection to the wall needed to be angled so that the pipe did not flow downhill from the waterheater to the wall to prevent a backup flow back to the wall.

I also had him look at my hot water heater, because I had another company tell me that I needed a new one. This company was excellant, they said I did not need a new hot water heater at this time.

I had to call and cancel that appointment and make another one and he was very flexible with the change. The workers came a little later than I had expected but they called beforehand to let me know that they would be a little delayed. They worked well and kept me informed as to their process with the projects. I am very pleased with their work and will definitely use them in the future and will recommend them to others.
