Reliable remodelers

They have never shown up to complete any of the work we have paid them for. They repeatedly say they will come tomorrow or this weekend or next Monday, etc., but have never shown. They will not respond to calls, texts or emails on the day they are supposed to show up for service, then within a week will respond with some excuse as to why they didn't show and promise once again to come on another day. They have since called us liars and have said they will not complete the work. They have offered to refund our money, but have not yet done that either. We have complained to the Better Busines Bureau who also has three other complaints in the last year with the exact same details as ours, work paid for and never completed, lists of excuses why not, refunds promised and never given.

I was told by the provider that this would be a two day job, I even questioned him as to the time he quoted and he reassured me that that was more than enough time to complete my flooring. Day 1 The provider was late in arriving but started immediately around 1100 and I had been told they would be there at 9 am. They worked until dark and completed approximately one half of the proposed job. The next day, Day 2 they did not show up on time, I was told 1200 it was 3 in the afternoon when they came to finish up. The weather turned bad after they got here and after a few hours of work, they closed up shop stating, we will be here on Tuesday to finish the trim and tile. Tuesday came and went and no provider, after many calls and texts two weeks went by and the job was never finished. I had to hire a weekend crew to complete the unfinished work he failed to do, because I was placing my property for sale. Three weeks to the day he showed up to finish his work and I had to explain that I had to spend extra money to finish his project that he was hired to do. I asked for the money that it cost me to hire a crew to finish his job and he bantered back and forth after he told me that he wanted me to be happy with the job. When I requested the refund he became defensive and refused to refund any of my money. So he was paid for a job he never finsihed.
