Bruce was our primary contact. He was professional, punctual and managed the project well. Their price was just slightly higher than another bid I got, but Bruce really knew what he was talking about and in some places where other providers had tried to upsell me Bruce explained the upsell option and let me know that it was really unnecessary. The crew that did the work did a good job, the work was high quality and they did a great job of cleaning up. My gutters on the aging/old roof were incorrectly attached to the old wood shingles (built in 1928). This was discovered after they had torn most of the roof off. Bruce had a gutter company come shorten the gutters and reinstall them at cost which saved me money compared to replacing them. I have used a fair amount of "A" rated providers on Angie's List. Sometimes they are good, sometimes there are issues, Quality Tops is the first perfect experience I have had and I would highly recommend them.

I bought the 199. special from Angieslist. I called them and they came out to check my roof. They were on time, professional and after a quick check, only found a few loose tiles, which they fixed. They service professional said there was not much to do so they were going to refund me part of the coupon $50. I found this to be very nice and honest. They said with the few fixes the roof should be great for years. I liked their honesty and professionalism. I will call them for future jobs. It took them about 1 hour to check it all, talk to me (they were up there about 45 min).

The job was completed in one day. He arrived before the scheduled appointment and started working. My chimney and roof look alot better but we will see how it holds up once it rains. I had to leave to go to work before he finished cleaning up but when I came home, he had sweep my patio and left the extra paint at my front door.

QTR promptly returned my request for a quote to replace two power vents in my attic. They performed the work in a reasonable timeframe and completed it thoroughly and without making a mess. They communicated well throughout the process.

It was good. He came out and he eventually dispelled some of my fears. He assured me that I did need to just have the repairs and not the roof. He was very helpful.

I wasn't home when the work was performed; however, everything seems to be done correctly.

My roof is 5 years old and I wanted it inspected to check for damage and ensure all joints, etc. looked good. I also had gutter guards installed this year and the cedar shake on my house stained, each of which required men on the roof, so I wanted to make sure no damage was done to the roof while the unrelated maintenance was performed. The inspection was quickly scheduled, and coordination was great because when the inspector finished a job near my house early a few days before my scheduled inspection, he called to see if he could stop by early. He did a thorough inspection and immediately called to report his findings. He did not try to push anything unnecessary, which was appreciated. I will absolutely use them again for any and all roofing needs.

This was a great experience. Bruce came out to my house and gave me an estimate on the spot. I really appreciated that. He was prompt, very professional, and explained everything to me. It took me a month or so to make a final decision and when I did they remembered who I was, still guaranteed the pricing, and made a date to have the roof put on. They even guaranteed to fix a patio that had been leaking. Materials arrived the date they said they would. Roofers were here on date and time. The job manager called to make sure I was satisfied, after looking over the job. They cleaned up very well and they did not bother me at all during the process. Everything looked great! Quality Tops Roofing, Inc. performed a good job in a very professional manner..

The company came to my house and sat down explaining the different kinds of shingles and brands. They went through the process from start to end and included what they said in writing. I took the quote and discussed it with my wife (always get three separate quotes from three companies) We called Quality Tops Roofing back and I emailed them the signed quote. They called and gave me the start date and duration of work and stuck to it. I was very surprised at the lack of trash during the re-roofing event. Each evening I walked my yard looking for nails, old paper and old shingles. They never started too early in the morning or stayed too late in the evening. Impressive company.

Great! Paul did the initial inspection and recommendations and then he and a helper returned and did the work quickly and efficiently. He was very personable, polite and seemed to really care about my problem. I would definitely call them again.

It went excellent. The guy came out checked our roof and gave us some hints on what to watch out for. He gave me the facts, did not try to push anything. Just gave me his card and let me know to call him when we are ready for work.

The question "Were service performed by provider" only lets me check yes or no. The roof repair was done by Quality Top and the guttering was done by a sub contractor to Quality Top. I was tired of the weekend roofer knocking on my door trying to sell me a new roof when I only had minor wind damage. I had called my insurance company to see if they would cover the cost of the new roof. The amount of damage was less than my deductible so they would not cover it. I called Quality Top for an estimate and they gave me an estimate of $285.00 do repair the wind damage. I also need some guttering put up and asked them for an estimate. They came in at $598.00 for the guttering. The actual cost of the repair is what was estimated. All of the work was done in a very timely fashion and the both the gutter and roofing installers were very professional and very courteous. Lead time was very short. I would have no problem hiring Quality Tops roofing to do another job for me and I would HIGHLY recommend them to my friends and family.

They did an excellent job on the roof.

about 2 hrs before the appointment the inspector called and cancelled. He said he had been double booked. When we explained what prompted our call to them, his response was it was probably not what we thought it was. During a recent rain storm we heard a sound a rhythmic tapping in one of our air conditioning ducts. We were told the sound was probably wind blowing across a vent. He said if we saw water stains he would try to get back as quickly as he could, but other wise he didn't know when he could inspect our roof.

They walked around, patched areas, and checked things out. Everything was fine. I don’t recall any issues.

I chose this company because of their great reviews on Angie's List and I'm so glad I did! They were prompt, professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and attentive. The bid was very much in line with others that I had received, but I chose them because they responded so quickly and were so professional when they came out to do the estimate. The materials were delivered in advance and the crew showed up and did the job in one day, even with taking a long lunch break. I was able to communicate with all the workers and they ran the magnet around the house more than once to pick up all the nails and debris. No broken plants and a clean yard when they finished. What more can you ask from a vendor???? I will definitely use them again in the future!

The same weather front that produced the EF5 tornado in Moore, Oklahoma on May 20, 2013 came further south and reduced strength winds from that same weather front shredded the roof on our covered patio. In April 2011, we also had straight-line winds of 90-100 mph which took big chunks of our house roof off as well as a large portion of the roof on our small storage barn. The missing shingles were not even in our yard. We found Quality Tops Roofing on Angies List in 2011 and Quality Tops Roofing did an incredible job completely replacing our house and barn roofs. When the patio roof was shredded on 5-20-2013, of course, we called Quality Tops Roofing again. Quality Tops did an absolutely excellent job in replacing our patio roof, as well. They used state-of-the-art highest quality materials and their workmanship is unmatched. Quality Tops Roofing is the best of the best. So professional, skillful, experienced, and efficient. I decided to get 3 quotes for roof replacements due to hail damage on two houses; my home and my nearby rental property. I think 3 quotes on large jobs is the right number to determine if contractor prices and options are reasonable, without producing a time burden on me in collecting dozens of quotes, or disrespecting the contractor's time by making a dozen businesses spend time on quoting a job that only one will ultimately get. I contacted the provider and indicated that I wanted a specific type of shingle on my home. (He was my second quote; his first competitor tried to push an underlayment upgrade on me that I didn't want.) He called and left a voicemail and when I called back, we scheduled an appointment for a Friday afternoon to meet at my house. I called my tenants and made them aware to expect us shortly afterwards. He called a couple days in advance, and said he had family coming in to town and wanted to meet at a different time. I have a standing arrangement with my supervisor that I can take off early Friday if I work later hours earlier in the week, and I had already started working later to be able to make our original appointment...so I was a tad irritated at the scheduling change, but agreed to it because he was willing to meet after my work hours. So I called my tenants and updated them on the schedule change. The afternoon of the appointment, my last business client of the day arrived 45 minutes late, and then I had to kick her out as politely as I could so that I could make my appointment with this provider. Even though she was late, my client made comments to my boss because she was irritated that I wouldn't stay late to conclude our business. As I rushed home, I listed to my voicemail and discovered a message left half an hour before the appointment saying that he couldn't make it because he had to take his wife to the ER. Now I am not suggesting that any man should EVER fail to take his wife to the ER when she requires, but there are 4 guys pictured on his business card and I would have been fine with any of 'em... So then he follows up by calling me a couple times, but I am not free to call back during most of the work day. When I was able to get free, I called him back and discovered he had already arrived at my rental property without clearing it with me first. I was VERY unhappy with this state of affairs because I do not like contractors to show up at my rental property without me. First, I think it makes me look unprofessional to my tenants to not coordinate with them in advance, especially after already telling them we were coming twice. Second, I was having problems with one set of tenants (after telling them they had to get rid of their lease violating pit bull or move) and I knew they would seize on any little thing to whine and complain about in retaliation. I tried to make the best of things by texting my tenants about his arrival, but the pit bull owner tenants ended up giving me an earful later anyhow about how they didn't appreciate lack of notice, etc. So then I get home and find a business card on my own porch, because apparently he went by there with no notice too. I wasn't so upset about him dropping by my house, but I don't think it was very professional to go to a rental property inhabited by people who would have had no idea he was coming if I hadn't happened to get his voicemail when I did. So he leaves a message later telling me he's preparing a quote for me and asks where to send it, and I debate whether to even call back and tell him about the ridge vent upgrade I wanted (which I hadn't had a chance to tell him about). He struck me as a scheduling chameleon which I don't need, and I wasn't sure I even wanted a quote anymore. Switching his scheduling around and showing up unexpectedly on short notice may not be at all inconvenient to people who have more flexible or different work schedules, but for me it's Excedrin headache #452. So he sends me quotes, but it was clear that he hadn't recalled from my original contact with him that I wanted a specific type of shingle (Energy Star rated cool shingles), because he quoted something comparable to the existing shingles on both houses. I thought the pricing for what he did quote was more than reasonable: without seeing my insurance paperwork, he came out $366 below RCV on my home and $1043 below RCV on my rental property, which would have allowed me to get some of the upgrades I wanted with less additional expense on my part. (Some Angie's List readers will be disappointed that I don't list specific prices and # of squares here, but due to the fluctuating material prices, I don't think that information sets reasonable expectations...) Due to the pricing, I was considering calling him back...but then after my 3rd quote with his 2nd competitor who was SO accommodating to my schedule, easy to deal with, and reasonably priced....I just didn't want to deal with him or the first competitor any more.
