Description of Work: Hard sell tactics; less than perfect installation. Worse of all,all three companies that I contacted for estimates said that I needed a new garage door when the broken spring only needed to be replaced!

Our records show that we installed a door for you on May 26, 2011. You have not contacted us for service since 2011. I'm not sure what company you had in 2013, but we definitely would not have tried to sell you a new door as you would have still been under warranty for services at that time. Description of Work: They came and serviced the door well. Payment was a mess. They ignore the Angie's coupon. When I realized, they fought it a bit but then sent back a refund. 3 weeks later, door broke again. Not their fault but they cancelled on me 3 days in a row while I was waiting at home. They were rude about it. They finally came and diagnosed.

We apologize for the confusion, Sir. Because you purchased a prepaid tune up via Angies List, we were contacting you via the Angie's List message center directly to confirm your appointment. We did not hear back from you for over a month. When you contacted us back it was via phone and not the message center so your prepaid information was not linked. As soon as you notified us of the error we issued a refund to you. You did contact us back for additional repairs which were related to your motor. The technician did not charge for this service although it was unrelated to the prior repair. Please let us know if you have any additional concerns regarding your appointment; our service manager would be happy to assist you directly.

Description of Work: They installed a new garage door opener and all went well except the key chain opener that failed less than three months. When I drove 30 miles to their facility to prevent a house call charge I overheard one of the ladies say that the key chain openers fail quite often but they did not reveal this to me when I paid an additional $50.00 for it. Needless to say I refused to purchase another one and they refused to replace it

Description of Work: Exceptional, arrived at the agreed upon time, suggested the best garage door opener to suit our needs. Did not try to oversell us, which we truly appreciated. Description of Work: Our garage door would not go all the way up in cold weather. And once it was up it would not close. The technician quickly corrected the problem and showed us how to correct the problem without a service call next time. He also did some routine maintenance and cleaning on the door and replacd some of the damaged rollers. Great job. Very happy with the service.
