 + -1 moreGloria, told me there would be a $45.00 charge for the service call and the springs started at $47.00 installed. When Josh arrived to make the repairs he advised the $47.00 spring only had a 90 day warranty. He also had 2 upgrades at higher prices. There would also be a charge of $175.00 for installation of each spring! I advised him I was not interested because I was told something completely different on the phone. He asked to collect the $45.00 for the service call. I advised him I was not going to pay anything and he should leave. Josh was very nice and I warned him that he was in a dangerous position of going to customers homes and giving them these high prices after the lady on the phone makes it sound like the job will be very reasonable. I had the work done the next day by Beech Overhead Door for $348. Total.
Description of Work: I called O'Brien Garage Doors to have a broken Tension Spring replaced on a garage door. The door is a 16 X 7 foot door. I also wanted the spring on my 8 X 7 foot door replaced.

THEY KNEW IMMEDIATELY WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND HOW TO FIX IT, AND THEY HAD ALL THE PARTS THEY NEEDED WITH THEM. THEIR RESPONSE TIME WAS QUICK, AND THE WORK WAS DONE EFFICIENTLY AND WELL. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK, AND THE DOOR HAS WORKED SMOOTHLY EVER SINCE.
