 + -1 moreVery good. Done timely. When I picked up my car, I was shown my old power steering pump and then, shown the box for the new power steering pump. They used a new German made pump that was specifically for my Mercedes. It also has a warranty. I had read the reviews prior to going to MP Auto & was impressed with how honest, professional & reasonably priced they where.

 + -1 moreWhile doing the work, Hiuh discovered he could turn my rotors so that i would not have to pay for replacement....and saved me over $200!!! This was my second repairs at MP Auto and BOTH times I was amazed by the value, quality and professionalism! I will not take my car anywhere else! I know I can trust these guys!
Description of Work: A couple of week ago I went in for a quote for new brake pads and rotors. The quote was $516, which I felt was very reasonable, so i made plans to bring my vehicle in the following week for the repairs.

 + -1 moreMy car broke down and I was afraid it was something major like the transmission. After researching reviews online for a mechanic open on Saturday, I took a chance and took my car to Hiuh at MP Auto Repair this morning. Only a few hours later, Hiuh had my car running good as new for UNDER $100 PARTS and LABOR!!! He even printed a copy of the computer code on the engine light, showed me the original packaging for the new part (a Mopar camshaft position sensor) and gave me the old part!!! I will definitely bring my car to Hiuh for all my future mechanical service and repairs! So pleased and relieved!

 + -1 moreHad a wonderful and pleasant experience with MP Auto Repair. My alternator died and I called all over the S. Arlington area for quotes. They blew my regular mechanic's quote (one of the big-boy dealerships) out of the water! I was a little leery at first taking my vehicle here because I typically entrust my vehicle's repairs to my dealership. However, I couldn't beat their price and I am tired of paying the high prices to dealerships. MP Auto Repair was able to order the part and have it installed the same day--within 3 hrs! I dealt with the owner's son (sorry, I forgot his name!) who had a good demeanor, was friendly, and very knowledgeable. He was able to explain the issue to me in simple terms and even provided a demo after the installation to ensure that my battery was being charged by the alternator. I will give MP Auto Repair a call the next time I have any auto related issues. Thanks again!

Description of Work: New AC compressor and fan on a John Cooper Works S Mini. And if you don't know any time you have anything do e on these cars it is a small fortune so this was a steal for parts and labor.

 + -1 moreThey finished early and the job was perfectly done and the car drives better than it ever has. They went through every detail of parts and labor and even showed my son where it was in the catalog to confirm that was indeed their price for the parts. And they actually charged less for labor than parts! This was I an Audi A4 and parts are not cheap so the majority of the bill (2/3) was parts. When they did such an amazing job, I asked them if they worked on mini's for future reference since mini's are so expensive to work on. Little did I know that one week later I would be taking the mini in. Such a relief that I already had a great place. And it was AC work as well!!! Oh and they found some additional probs while in there but because it was not In the original quote..they did not charge me!!!
Description of Work: I can't tell you the name of the part replaced because my son is the mechanical one but something was bent that was causing the turbo to run backwards and required some major work. My son went to many shops trying to get it even diagnosed and no one could figure it out cause the only symptoms were an engine light, a non Specific computer code and an intermittent tweeting sound that almost sounded like a loose belt but not quite. Otherwise the car ran fine. When they proposed that the turbo was running backwards he really thought that sounded unbelievable until they opened the oil dip stick to show him the sucking sound! Since these guys got 5 stars on yelp and no one else had come close to an explanation he decided to go with them

 + -1 moreI think they are honest and don't try to overcharge me. Also, I like that they don't use wrecking yard parts and instead uses very good parts.
Description of Work: I take all of my cars to MP Auto Repair for all of their auto work. I last took my car into his shop to have a fuel pump and fuel injection installed.
