Larry Bushner and his crew did outstanding work. Larry was great to work with - he has very high standards, communicates timelines, gave an accurate estimate, and was extremely helpful with making design decisions. Altogether the work was meticulously done and looks fantastic - I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I would definitely hire again.

Was very happy with Larry and his crew. They did an excellent job. Larry was on site and checking back with me daily. He contacted me prior to installation making sure everything was in order. Larry knows his craft and I respected any suggestions, etc. he gave me. His service is a little higher than others, but after speaking with several other contractors, I felt that Larry was honest, up front, and would do the best job. The gentlemen laying the tile were careful making sure the job was done correctly. . I never felt like Larry nor his crew rushed through to get onto another job.

It went great. Larry gave me an accurate estimate in a timely manner and his team (of 2) were professional and I'm very happy with the end result. A few years ago I also used Masterpiece to repair and rebuild two leaking showers, they rebuilt the pans which were installed incorrectly and retiled. They don't do the job half way. They may not be the absolute cheapest but they are thorough and professional.

I found Masterpiece Tile and Grout on Angie’s List, and because of the great reviews, called them. When I met the owner, Larry, I could tell he was trustworthy, and a perfectionist who takes great pride in his business; because he wouldn’t accept any payment until the job was finished to my satisfaction. He provided me with a very reasonable estimate for the work, and so I hired him. And what a great decision that was! Larry clearly explained the process and schedule so I understood exactly what to expect. He touched base with me daily to make sure I was happy with the daily progress, and he was easy to reach when I had questions. His employee, Jose, actually did the tile work. I watched him work and saw that he had excellent attention to detail and took great pride in making sure he delivered quality work. He was very professional, friendly, and always arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He took great care to protect my home while he was working, and cleaned up at the end of every day. My old house had some challenges, but Larry and Jose creatively and successfully resolved them all. They also provided me with ideas for simple improvements to the project design, which resulted in a much better product in the end. Larry and Jose delivered exactly what was promised……and more. They exceeded my expectations and didn’t charge me a dime over the estimate. They also finished right on schedule. All in all it was a very positive experience. I will definitely call them again for future work.

Outstanding service, very responsive throughout the entire process. Larry came on site every single day while the work was being performed and literally bent over backwards to make certain everything was done exactly as we wanted. I don't have enough positive things to say. They really took care of us with the utmost professionalism and craftsmanship in their work. On top of that we had very tight timelines as we are in the process of selling the property. Larry had the work done properly and finished everything on time as promised. I had another contractor doing work in another bathroom a couple of months ago and the difference in service with Masterpiece was night and day. I highly recommend and would most definitely use their services in the future.

The work went very smoothly, with both the business owner and all contracted employees arriving as scheduled. Work was completed timely and with no delays due to anyone involved in the project being held up on other jobs, etc. The work involved removing all tile from the floors and shower walls as well as taking the shower walls down to the studs (in order to properly waterproof and correct the fact that the builder had not installed a shower pan), removing and replacing the bathtub as well as all sink and shower fixtures, installing new tile on the floors, shower walls and around the tub and replacing all water valves with updated versions. Additionally the vanity cabinets were removed and replaced. The majority of the tearout was completed the first day, with additional tile removal taking a little longer. Every effort was made to mitigate the amount of dust/dirt leaving the bathroom and drifting or being carried into other parts of our home. The tile installation was done in a very professional manner and we couldn't be more pleased. The business owner was very helpful at every step of the project and explained next steps, etc. He was very willing to listen to our questions/suggestions. One small error was made in that when the shower walls were reinstalled, the shampoo niche we had requested had been omitted. When we discovered this oversight, the business owner willingly corrected the oversight and we have a wonderful shower niche now. We are very pleased with the results of this project....feeling almost like we are in a Spa in our own bathroom!!!

I got 3 bids for this job. Larry was the one that listened to what I wanted. Specifically, this isn't my forever home so while I want a good quality job, I'm not looking for over the top. Also, I hate grout with a passion. The other contractors added in anything I happened to mention and kept adding on things. Larry kept the job to the level I wanted and suggested cultured marble for both full baths. No grout, only 2 seams, and it's cheaper and faster than tile. There was one other bid close to Larry's so it Larry's attention to my wants/needs that got him the job. SCHEDULE: Larry managed to time all the work so we always had a toilet downstairs and a shower to use. I really appreciated this. He would tell me when he or his crew would be there and they always arrived on time. COMMUNICATION: Larry was always available via text or phone call. He answered every question and concern. ABOVE THE CALL: When I couldn't get a new towel rack on in the master bath, Larry came by and did it for me. I definitely felt like Larry listened and cared about not only doing a good job but that I felt that he did a good job. He doesn't do any double talk. He explains things clearly and lets you make the final decisions. I'd definitely use him again.

larry bushner was very knowledgable and easy to work with. He walked me through all of the steps of the project, gently led me to good decisions, and resolved all bad ideas. No problem was left unsolved. He let me do the tear out to save a few dollars. He was always on time and did what he said he woul do. A great story teller! End result is a beautiful new shower with some nice design features. I would recommend Larry and Masterpiece Tile to everyone!

It went great. I would recommend Larry to anyone. Besides fixing the issue, Larry also gave us advises & tips on how to prevent the problem from re-occur again. He kept us informed of certain installation decisions they needed to make and why. The job completed within estimated time.

Contacted Larry for a bid on Feb 24; came to the house to assess the job and provided a bid on March 1. Work began March 15: New floor tile, countertop and sinks, plumbing, shower demo and new tile shower completed March 26. Seamless glass for the shower installed April 1. This project was completed more quickly than we had anticipated. Work was professional and of very high quality. Communication with Larry was exceptional throughout the process. We knew exactly what was happening each day, and were given a phone call if there were any changes in schedule or needs for materials. Jose (tile) took extra care to make sure all the tile was level, especially the shower walls. When the glass contractor came to measure for the shower glass, he commented on how all the tile lines and levels were exact. The finished shower is a work of art. Larry also gave us a great recommendation for bathroom fixtures and helped source the tile for us. He was able to get us a better price locally than what we originally found online. We are very pleased with our new bathrooms and would recommend Masterpiece Tile & Grout to anyone.

It went great! The guy was very nice, he was prompt and got the job done in less than 5 minutes. He was such a nice person and he didn't have to give me the discount that he did! I would definitely use him again if an opportunity presented itself.

Larry and his team were outstanding. Punctual, responsive, knowledgeable....they showed a genuine care in getting the job done and done right. We love our new bathroom!

The estimate was quoted on October 16th. I spent about a week afterwards making my decision on the contractor. I was given all the time I needed to make my selections of tile, granite & fixtures. The work commenced around Nov. 1st & was completed on Nov. 13th. The job was done quickly once I had my selections & professionally. I have since had other work done in my bathroom, painting, etc., but the work that I contracted with Mr. Bushner was completed mid-November. The countertop & tile floor are absolutely gorgeous. I am very happy with the work that Mr. Bushner did & his professional tile-setter Jose. The plumbing work was also top-notch. Overall, a very good experience.

I would highly recommend Masterpiece Tile & Grout to anyone. Larry was prompt with responses, on time every day, and Jose did a fantastic job. We had to tear out all of the tile around our tub since the previous owners did a shoddy remodel job. We had water get behind the tiles, soak through the sheet rock, insulation, etc. Larry took everything out, replaced studs, dried everything out, put in new insulation and cement board, new tile. It looks FANTASTIC! Pricing was fair (actually a little less than i budgeted). He was up front about the price for extras (additional studs, plumbing adjustments), kept me informed of certain installation decisions they needed to make and why, and how that would affect the overall look of the tile. The job took longer than initially anticipated, but that was also expected considering the amount of work they needed to do. Larry was up front before they started that it could take longer (and they'd rather do it right the first time than speed through it). I really appreciated that honesty.

He could have sold us a shower, but instead told us the other guy was wrong and there was nothing wrong with the existing one.

What a spectacular difference! We recently moved into a new home with an absolute eyesore of a fireplace. Being the focal point of the living room, we just could not live with it. Enter Larry from Masterpiece Tile. We discussed several different design options because the fireplace presented some unusual problems in that it was not centered correctly and therefore the mantel and hearth were not centered either. It basically looked like just one big mistake. Larry has a very keen eye for design and what works. He is also a problem solver. He helped me decide how to re-design the new hearth and mantel and located the exact granite that I wanted. The job was not rushed and the workmanship is top-notch! The fireplace is now the most beautiful feature of the living room! I really appreciate Masterpiece Tile and would definitely work with them again.

great job, great guy, will use again

Larry came right out when I called and took a good deal of time to discuss the job (re-do of shower in the master bathroom), options we could consider. He made several very practical suggestions but was quick to reassure me that the decisions were mine. He tore out the tile walls of our shower and the tile backsplash around the tub, insulated the walls, had a plumbing contractor replace all of the fixtures in the bathroom, then installed cultured marble walls, floor and backsplash. He did a lot of little extras to keep the end result low maintenance and to improve upon the size, look and maintenance of the new shower. He also recommended another contractor to install the glass portions, which also worked out very well. I appreciated Larry's attention to details that I would never have even thought about. The end result looks great.
