Description of Work: They repaired foundation cracks in my outside brick of 2 story house and repaired inside the house some cracks in brick fireplace. Matched the mortar and bricks perfectly, so our 24 year old house doesn't have any discoloring of the mortar or bricks that were replaced. (no white mortar lines) it all looks very natural...like it blends with the 24 year old house brick / mortar color.

Description of Work: Monty was a pleasure to do business with and did an excellent job repairing mortar on my 15 year old house. The thresholds were originally mortar and have been cracking and deteriorating for at least 12 years. I had leftover original bricks. He used the bricks and it made an amazing difference in the appearance of the entry. I had two vertical joints that ran the entire height of the house (1 story house) around the bay window and the entire mortar had deteriorated to nothing. The mortar matches perfectly and I’m extremely happy with the results. He also repaired a brick that was cracked down the middle. I can’t even tell which brick has been repaired and I know exactly where it is. Excellent repair. He repaired all the zigzag cracks and mortar that had deteriorated all around the house. All the repairs look great and the house has a much needed facelift. The house needed some of these repairs when I bought it 12 years ago and it only got worse over time. I’m so happy with the repairs that I wish I had done it years ago.

Description of Work: Repaired bricks that had been damaged on planter from previous brick man who did not finish his job. I would have been better off if I had used Mason Mender to begin with. Monty Woodard is very professional. The bricks and mortor are now back just like they are suppose to be and completed with NO mess.

+ -1 moreThis is the third time we've used Monty. We live on a well-traveled street and on a curve, so, it seems, we and our neighbors are always replacing our mailboxes. This time it was totally demolished right down to the sidewalk. We called Monty again, and he came out the very same day and put up a temporary mailbox until he could install the permanent one. He gave us an estimate, which was satisfactory, and a time and date he could do the work which was also satisfactory.On the specified date, he showed up on time and had our mailbox finished by noon complete with a flower box. It looks great. He did an excellent job matching the brick to the brick to our house. He then hauled off all the old pieces of brick--there were few whole bricks to be found. Upon completion of our mailbox, even though it wasn't in the original agreement, we asked if he would look at a corner of our house which was cracked at the base. He ended up filling in the crack and cementing the entire corner. Again, he did an excellent job, and charged us only an additional $50 (which I have included in the entire amount).We will definitely hire Monty again as he has always pleased us with his work and professionalism.
