JOHNSON PLUMBING CO

Another plumber was at my house a couple months ago and could not find the problem, but ended up charging a lot of money for his time and efforts anyway. This time around, I obtained a written estimate from another reputable plumber for $1370. He told me he would knock a 2-foot hole in my foundation and replace a section of pipe (which, it turns out, did not need to be replaced), and be done in four hours. Instead of using the old plumber or the $1370-estimate plumber, I decided to take a recommendation from my father-in-law and give Johnson Plumbing a try. Mr. Johnson put in an honest days work troubleshooting my problems, and seems to have gotten to the real cause and fixed it. I spent the day with him (because I am a do-it-yourselfer and like to take the time to learn about my house when I can), and Mr. Johnson endulged me and talked me through everything he was doing. Throughout the day he pointed out a number of minor problems that I could take on as weekend projects, and told me how I could fix them myself. His friendly and helpful attitude were the icing on the cake. The cake, if you will, is that he solved a difficult to diagnose problem and fixed it for a lot less money than other plumbers were asking for. I would highly recommend Johnson Plumbing to anyone in or around Arlington, Texas.
