Crew showed up on time the very first day. We started in the family room, it took an hour or so to tear out the berber carpet and padding. Determined the concrete was good for hardwood. Cleaned the floor, started laying the new hardwood. Baseboards then laid. The following day, the walls in the family room and the baseboard were painted. Did a great job laying the floor and painting, took great care of the new floor. All lines on the floor are straight, careful attention was paid to the length of the boards to ensure a good pattern. Their saw was set up in the back of the house - worked out perfectly. To do the work in the kitchen, the crew carefully put up plastic sheets over doorways to minimize the dust in the family room and the rest of the house. The demo happened very fast - old formica countertop, tile backsplash, linoleum floor. Removed the cabinet doors (and the old hardware) so they could be sanded and repainted and replaced. The bathroom cabinet demo took almost no time, but scraping the old texture off the walls and ceiling took a day or so. All in all, demo went very well. They hauled away the old appliances and all of the demo'd items (trailer remained in back yard throughout the remodel). Timing was such that the new granite came in and Camarillo suspended their work for that day, which was great. Then the work began to pull everything together - cabinet doors were painted outside (sprayed), cabinets inside were painted by hand. Backsplash install took a couple of days - one to set the tiles and then one to grout. They let us use the refrigerator in the house as long as possible - it wasn't moved out until they were ready to lay the floor. This was a HUGE help to us and we really appreciated them working around it. Floor was laid exactly as we requested re: pattern and took 2 or 3 days. Again, the cuts are good, the measurements were perfect - the crew really knew what they were doing. Appliances were all installed perfectly. We had an electrician come out and do the electrical work, since it was somewhat extensive - Camarillo can handle minor electrical, but we have aluminum wiring, discovered the dishwasher was actually hardwired into the wall, and wanted to add several outlets in the 40-year old kitchen, so we decided an electrician was the better way to go. We are very pleased with how it all came out. From the new hardwood floor to the paint to the kitchen work and the bathroom - they did a great job all around. They were careful, neat, and picked everything up each night before they left. We are planning to use the leftover porcelain tile in the entryway and will have Camarillo do that work for us. And we'll also have them do the work in the other 2 bathrooms when we're ready. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for this type of work. We are very pleased.

Thank You for your business, we are pleased to hear that your a satisfied customer and look forward to working with you again. Thanks Joe Camarillo
From start to finish, my experience was superb. I'm not sure I disliked anything. The owner is very talented with the texturing. The texturing we had is not smooth. It has ridges in it which looks very good. Overall, did a really good job.
Description of Work: They cleaned our walls and stripped them. We had a popcorn ceiling that they took out. They re-textured the hallways, repainted the bathroom, bedroom, and ceilings. They also pulled up the carpet for us and hauled if off.

The guy did a great job. He was on time, worked consistently and was fast. He charged me right and didn't try to throw in a bunch of unnecessary stuff. In other words, honest!
Description of Work: Lay tile with designs in my bathroom shower and did the floor, bath, and counter top in my guest bathroom. I already had all the materials so this is just the cost of labor.
