Kent was very pleasant to work with. He was easy to get in touch with and was able to answer all of my questions before we met at the home. He showed up on time and performed a very thorough inspection of the home and was able to point out the various larger issues with the home and what problems could arise down the road. Kent created a very professional digital PDF with photos of problem areas he took during the inspection. I would highly recommend Kent and I would use him in the future for any further inspections.

I found Kent on Angie's List and he had terrific reviews. I was able to check his availability on his website before contacting him for an estimate. The estimate was done via an online form and Kent replied back within hours with the cost and available dates/times. Kent showed up early for the home inspection and got started right away. He was very efficient and offered advice or information as he worked. He took pictures of items that he mentioned on his report. The entire inspection took about 3 hours. Kent walked the roof. He climbed out windows and noted missing caulking around the upper windows. He noticed missing window screens. Kent found an inoperable zone and a broken bubbler on the sprinkler system. He also noted several smaller items like a missing trim board under an awning and a cracked facia board. Kent showed me how to light the pilot light on the fireplace and adjust the flame. I received the inspection report by email the next morning. I was very pleased with this inspection and would not hesitate to recommend Kent to others or use him again myself.

My husband and I are looking to purchase our first home that is an older home in need of some care. It was very important to us to get a detail summary of the condition of the house before going any further in the buying process so we chose Kent to do our home inspection after finding him on Angie's List. Kent wanted us there for the inspection so that we could ask him questions along the way and he could explain things to us, which was exactly what we wanted. It was very informative! I liked how Kent told us what was an issue with a particular detail of the house and what that meant in practical terms (he also a has a sense of humor which put us at ease). The report was emailed shortly after the inspection and included great pictures and explanations. The experience of his inspection help us immensly in our decision making process. Kent Keith is a very good home inspector. Mr. Keith inspected a home we are under contract to purchase. This home had been inspected by another inspector just a few months prior. Mr. Keith did a much more accurate and thorough inspection. He discovered issues that the prior inspector did not see. He had a full inspection report to us promptly. Kent also conducted a termite inspection. After repairs to the sprinkler system were completed, Kent returned to the home and made sure the sprinklers were in working order. He did this return trip at no extra cost. We appreciated this. We are very satisfied with his work. I would recommend Kent Keith to anyone that needs a home inspected.

I found Green Tag on Angie's List and decided to give them a try. I found their website very easy to navigate and I was able to see what days and times were available. I used the contact form on their website to request an appointment and Kent contacted me promptly to set up the inspection. I was very worried because we were under tight deadlines with getting an inspection done before our 10 days were up and before going out of town on a vacation that was already scheduled before we were looking at homes to buy. Kent was able to get the home inspected within our tight deadline and without any problems at all. He showed up for the inspection on time and he was very professional. He did not mind me looking over his shoulder and asking questions during the whole inspection either. He did a very thorough 3 hour inspection of the home. He checked oven, plumbing, roof, attic, heat and AC, pool, sprinklers, foundation, etc., etc. I felt very confident with his inspection of the home and I was happy when he said there were no 'deal breakers' if we wanted to go ahead with buying the home. I had the official inspection report within 24 hours of the inspection and he was very responsive to questions and requests that I had. Not only is Green Tag very professional and thorough, but the price was also very good.

Kent answered my query for an estimate promptly. It was easy to schedule an appointment on his web site. He was prompt, well-prepared, and thoroughly inspected the house, garage, attic, and roof, as well as sprinkler system and aerobic septic system. My husband followed him so that he had a good understanding of potential problems in our new house. Termite inspection was done at a great price (with Angie's list coupon.) Kent was extremely knowledgeable and witty. He gave us a 3-hour time period for the inspection and used most of that time. He answered all our questions and had the final report to us that evening complete with pictures. I would recommend him to everybody looking for an independent home inspector who will do the job right.

Kent was very thorough and, since we were there for the inspection, he answered some questions along the way. After he was done we did a walk through on what he had found. His full report, along with pictures, arrived via email the next afternoon. His findings kept us from buying into another "money pit", like the house we dumped 8 months ago. He ran about 15 minutes late, but sent me a text ahead of time, so we weren't waiting on him. If we pursue another pre-owned home, will definitely be calling on Kent again! Also, a very reasonable price!

Needed an inspection prior to completing the purchase of a new home, so I looked at Angies List and found Green Tag. Went to the website and filled out a scheduling questionairre. Got an email from Kent Keith with his quote and an appointment confirmation. Met him on the date and time for the inspection. As he poked into every possible area of the house, I followed him and he showed me what he was finding. The entire process was both entertaining and educational for me. Next morning I got the home and the termite inspection reports. I immediately sent off a copy to the real estate agent so negotiations on repairs coul begin. In that regard, I'm glad that Kent was so thorough and took plenty of photos for the report. I'll be calling him again prior to selling my current home so I won't get surprised during the sale. Another good thing was the termite inspection was 50% off for Angies List Members.

He was very accommodating to my schedule. I had to reschedule multiple times because the builder didn't finish on time.

Found several deficiencies which the builder agrees to make correction. Most of all, it gave you peace of mind that the house was well build with only minor deficiencies due to thorough inspection.

Every thing went really well. He was on time and he did the inspection is a reasonable amount of time. Kent was thorough and kept me well informed of what he was looking at and why it might be a problem in the future. I left feeling like I had a much better understanding of the house I am purchasing and what kind of things I am going to need to fix along the way.

He arrived at 9 a.m. as promised and got right to work. He had a gizmo that let me know the ceiling stains in one unit were dry. There had been rain recently, so I knew the stains were prior to the roof replacement 8 months ago. He had another gizmo that gave exact measurements on foundation settlement, which was within what I would consider normal range for this area on a building 30 years old. He made recommendations on some minor repairs I should do to prevent future problems. He also recommended that I add some insulation in the attics to help the tenants with their electric bills. This is my first time to use a professional home inspector. If I have the need in the future I will definitely call Green Tag again.
