Kent Keith was prompt, very thorough and professional. The inspection was scheduled for 9:30 and my realtor met Kent at the property. Kent took time to show me all aspects of this inspection and review items including heating and cooling systems and appliances. The written inspection report was emailed to me the following morning before 7:00 AM. I was very impressed with Green Tag Inspection Service and would recommend them as well as use them in the future.

Kent is a great inspector. I was very happy to have him preform the inspection on my first home. He was detailed and nice to answer all my questions. Also, I should mention that the scheduler "Diana" who helped me set up the appointment was super nice and kind, she has outstanding customer service skills. Kent top notch. He walked me through the inspection and everything that was wrong with the house. He exceeded all my expectations. This is the fourth home I have purchased and he is far and away the best inspector I have worked with.

Kent arrived early. By the time I arrived he had already been on the roof (a two-story home!), through the attic, and tested every plug and electrical socket in the home. He was very thorough, and very patient as he took me room by room to show me any areas of concern. He was also good at categorizes those concerns in terms of how big a deal (or not) they were in the scheme of the things, so that I understand what the issues were. He was very good and very thorough and should things go south on that property, I'll definitely call him out for the next one.

I reached out to the 5 or 6 highest rated inspectors in the area. I have a 2 story home and wanted to make sure the inspector would get on the roof. Of the inspectors that responded in a timely manner, Kent was the only one who would get up on the roof. The others only used a 17 foot ladder and/or said they would visually inspect the roof with binoculars, which would not have worked based on the angles of my roof. Kent showed up on time and had an easy booking process through his website. He inspected the roof, sprinklers, electrical, A/C, etc. He even called me from the roof to have me turn on the laundry vent. He was here a few hours and then we discussed the items he found (nothing major luckily!). Overall I was very happy with the process, but noted two items. He didn't discuss all the items with me in person so when I got the report there were 3 items that I wasn't expecting. There were very few pictures in the report - and no pictures of my actual house for these 3 items (for one of the items, a sample picture was used - which I couldn't follow how it related to my house). I had to email Kent to ask about 1 of the items since I didn't understand what it was. He responded quickly, but I would have preferred he show me in person. My 2nd issue - about a month after my inspection I got a call from ADT security and they mentioned Kent had given them my name. I didn't like that--especially since I already have a sign out front showing that I use another security company. Overall, I gave him an A because the quality of the inspection was the most important aspect for me and the fact that he was the only one who would get up on the roof.

I was not able to meet up with Kent until 5pm and he worked his schedule around mine to make sure we had time to go over things. He was very thorough and took his time going through everything with me once I arrived. He is very professional and I would definitely recommend using him.

Kent followed a pre-determined sequence of tests in order to determine the home's features and systems. He tested all systems and features to determine their functionality. During the process, he provided instruction to the buyer on systems, features and controls. Within 24 hours of completion, he delivered a 20 page report detailing his findings. The report was clear and easy to read plus it was illustrated with pertinent photos. A "bullet point" summary was provided at the end in order to facilitate communication with the realtors and the seller. A particularly important feature of the inspection was a check of the foundation to determine whether it was level. This required a special instrument that measured foundation elevation to the closest 0.1 inches. I enthusiastically endorse Green Tag Home Inspections and will use them again as needed.

Kent was wonderful he answered all of my questions and insured that I was aware and understood everything he was doing. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend Kent to everyone.

He arrived on time. Very courteous, Very informative and congenial. He inspected from Chimney to Bathtub drain (i.e. top to bottom) and every electrical socket in between. He shared the information with us and our Agent and that evening sent us a concise report of his findings including pictures. I was impressed with tools he used for measuring temperature of heat and air, oven, etc. He explained in detail all that he was to report. I would recommend him and/or use him again if the need were to arise.

Kent was very flexible regarding scheduling and worked to accommodate my ever-changing schedule. He conducted a thorough inspection at a great price - yielding a substantial number of items that we missed during our 'quality' walk-through with the builder. I very much appreciated his laid-back personality and sense of humor.

Kent of Green Tag home Inspection Services did a fantastic job from start to finish. We live in Indiana and built a new home in Texas. The builder assured us their quality control procedures were rigorous, and that a home inspection was not needed. Despite the fact that the builder did a fairly good job overall, Kent's professionalism and attention to detail uncovered several defects that the builder somehow missed. These included several minor cosmetic items that are easily fixed, but also significant issues such as nails protruding from the roof frame clear through the roof shingles, a blocked dryer vent, broken sprinkler pipe, bathroom fixture leak, and a loud noise and vibration in the garbage disposal. We are so pleased we hired Kent, and strongly recommend that anyone building a new home use his services to ensure their new home meets the highest quality standards. My brother in law, who accompanied Kent on the inspection, is very knowledgeable regarding home construction and has extensively remodeled his home. He said Kent did a better home inspection job than any previously performed on any homes he has owned. Kent has a user friendly scheduling process, reasonable prices, and is prompt and responsive. Our inspection report was clearly and concisely written, easily understood, and well documented with clear photos. We even got it the same day of the inspection, because he knew our closing date was fast approaching. Kent is at the top of his field, and our home inspection was money well spent.

Kent arrived promptly. Allowed me to tag along with running commentary of his observations and concerns. Conducted a thorough inspections through out the home. Provided a complete report with photos the same day. Willing to answer questions afterward via phone or email. Competent and professional!

Kent arrived early and was very thorough. He had invited me to accompany him at the appointment and explained details on older home I'm purchasing as he went through various systems, etc. I feel I am well equipped for decision-making thanks to his efforts and reports. He turned around the report in less than 24 hours, which is very helpful since I'm in a short option period. I'd recommend him highly.

Kent performed a very thorough house inspection. He answered all my questions, as well as asking some of me. He wanted to see how knowledgeable I was on certain safety features of a house, such as GFCIs, and to fill in what I might not be aware of. His final report was very comprehensive, but easy to read. The photos he attached were a big help. He believed there were foundation issues, and I had a foundation expert out a few days later and Kent was right. There are some issues which will be taken care of by the sellers, as well as many other items found deficient on his report.

It went well the only exception was that his device for checking the foundation level wasn't calibrated and couldn't be used. Otherwise he gave a good assessment of the home and we have been working on recommendations given in the report.

We were extremely impressed with Kent and unbelievably happy that we called him. Not only did he make time to see the house on a Sunday, he allowed for us to shadow him throughout the process, was extremely thorough and professional, and was quick to respond with any follow-up questions we had. In our case, he raised concerns regarding the roof that contradicted the seller?s roofing contractor?resulting in us getting the seller to provide a new roof. Honestly we could not have picked a better home inspector.

Kent performed two inspections for us in the past two weeks. He was extremely thorough and detailed with both inspections and left no stone unturned. In the first inspection, his attention to detail and 'investigative skills' saved us from making a very bad investment. In the second inspection, he provided the exact information we needed to negotiate the best price. He was very professional and it was obvious that he enjoys his job. I would recommend him to anyone in DFW!

Kent was great. He performed a thorough inspection and explained everything along the way. I was escpecially impressed that he even pulled the lids on the septic tanks and manually activated the system, which I don't think he had to do as part of a normal inspection. He was well prepared and efficient. Thoroughly satisfied and will use again.

Great experience, would recommend to others and use again. We had to re-schedule 3 times due to the weather, and Kent was very accommodating and understanding. Once we were able to move forward, it went great. The inspection was very detailed and thorough. While nothing major was found we got the roof evaluated and certified by the sellers insurance company on his advice. I really liked his website that showed his schedule and availability, which helps in planning at such a stressful time.

Kent arrived around 9:15AM and conducted a very thorough inspection of the home. He was there for approximately 4 1/2 hours for a 3500 sq foot home. This was an older home built in 1955. He inspected the crawl space, the attic, roof, plumbing, everything listed on his website. I followed him around for the majority of the inspection and he was great about answering any questions that I had on this home. He really helped us make a decision about purchasing this home. The inspection report gave us great insight into all the updates the property needed. The report was about 20 pages long. The pictures in the report were great, some included little red arrows to actually point to the problem in question. The termite report was an additional 4 pages long. I emailed him late on the evening I received the inspection, it had actually gone into my junk folder, so check that folder if you can't find the report. He responded very early the next morning and wanted to talk on the phone to better answer my questions. We were able to connect the next day, and the delay was on my end not his. He communication was always prompt and very easy to understand the problems in the home. I would definitely hire him again! Thank you, Kent for such great work!

This review is a pleasure to write, as seldom are my expectations so handily exceeded. Mr. Keith exhibited a plethora of 'P's - he was punctual, pleasant, professional, presentable and proficient. He had a very good tool set that he has obviously invested heavily in. He encouraged me to be present for the inspection and to accompany him throughout so that he could point out and describe identified aspects and potential issues. He took his time, never appearing harried or hurried and made me feel like he had all the time in the world to answer my questions. I never felt as if I was in his hair, which I undoubtedly was. He was very mindful during the inspection to respect the property and exercised care while climbing in/on/around the premises. He demonstrated mastery of his craft exceeding my expectations. I received via email the very same day an excellent report including color photographs with arrows pointing to the issue identified and a certified termite inspection suitable for submission to the closing agent. I will absolutely engage Mr. Keith again for any future needs and wholeheartedly recommend his services to those needing superlative service.
