After finding Kent Keith / Green Tag on Angie's List, I referenced his very informative website, from where I submitted a request for a quote. He promptly responded with a description of options with precise estimates and the time required. He then mentioned that he advises buyers to attend the inspection to learn about the house they are buying and ask any questions they may have. When I called to schedule the appointment two days out, he asked morning or afternoon, then said he would contact CSS to schedule the appointment and to just to meet us there. He arrived right on time and spent the next four hours (30 mins. longer than estimated due to our questions) performing a very thorough inspection, explaining what he was checking and why. Kent is down to earth, easy to communicate with and very professional. His price was even lower than he'd estimated and we had his inspection in our e-mail in-box before we returned home. A very pleasant experience and he exceeded our expectations.

Kent worked with our schedule to get the inspection done early in our option period. He was fast to respond to emails and phone calls and arrived on time to do the inspection. We are very pleased with the thoroughness of his work and would recommend his services to others.

Kent arrived right on time. He was thorough and professional (and has a pretty fantastic dry sense of humor as well). He made it easy to ask questions whenever we wanted to, and told us that we could follow him as much or as little as we liked. It happened to be raining and muddy during our inspection, and he actually had several pairs of shoes/boots with him so as to avoid tracking mud and dirt into the home. All in all, he did a very thorough job and we feel confident in moving forward with our home. We'd definitely use Kent again!

The experience with Green Tag inspections was wonderful. Kent was very responsive and easy to schedule with. We are purchasing an older home and were in our option period so he was willing to schedule whenever we needed. I was unable to be at the home during the inspection, but the report came very quickly and was extremely detailed. Like I mentioned, we are purchasing an older home built in 1956 so I wanted to make sure that we weren't buying a money pit. Kent was nice enough to spend 45 minutes on the phone with me and walk through each detail and answer ANY question I had. I would definitely use Green Tag inspections again in the future.

Kent was waiting for me at the house when I arrived, and he did a very thorough job of inspecting the house, both inside and out. He was at the property a total of 4-1/2 hours. I walked with him most of the time. He opened every window, operated every blind, and checked every single electrical outlet. He also inspected the entire roof by walking it, including the two-story section. He accessed all of the attic spaces and inspected the three A/C units, as well as the two fireplaces within the house. He went above and beyond, in may cases, including getting back on the two-story roof (it was 45 degrees outside) just to pick up some loose roofing nails he had seen earlier. This act alone speaks volumes about his work ethic, and made me realize that he believes in total customer satisfaction - even regarding things that the homeowner would never know about. His mechanical and termite reports were very thorough and professional, including many pictures of the items he wrote up. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

Kent did a great job. Worked with my schedule. Was very responsive via phone, text, and email. Did a detailed report. Helped with estimating costs for repairs. Even worked with my schedule for going over report, over the phone. Nice guy. I would recommend.

Overall, we were very happy with Keith. First of all, he drove all the way from FortWorth to Allen just to peform this Home Inspection. He did an exceptional job. He explained a lot of things to us as a first time home buyers. We really appreciated how he showed us all the defects with the house so that we can follow his report clearly which was pretty comprehensive as well.

Kent performed a home inspection as well as a termite inspection prior to the purchase of my house. He was on time, incredibly thorough, and quick to get the report back to me considering I had a limited time to get the report back to the seller. He pointed out several issues that it didn't notice and offered solutions as to simple fix its on items like the garage door opener etc.. Kent was very personable and professional and overall did a fantastic job.

I was pleased with his timely response describing his services as well as a quote for the house that I wanted to inspect. I was very pleased when he was not only able to meet me in a short time frame, but at a time that was perfect for my schedule. I had not planned on being with him as I had not been invited on prior inspections to my previous residences(other inspectors). Kent not only invited me, but made me feel welcome. I must say that the three hour process was busy with a lot of details. He was very open about what he was checking for and why as he went along. I was very pleased that I not only got to see a thorough inspection, but I got the added bonus of becoming more familiar with my new home than I could have otherwise. Kent Keith arrived at exactly the time he said he would. He inspected from bottom to top of my multilevel townhome and explained along the way so that I understood what he was looking at. He also fixed the guest bath sink faucet that was clogged. His report was prompt, very detailed and included pictures of the items that needed to be fixed. He took the time to answer all of my questions and provided me with some very helpful information as I get ready to renovate the house. I would certainly not hesitate to use his services again.

Kent was an absolute joy to work with. He was very professional from start to finish. He arrived at the location early and started immediately. Kent was extremely detailed in his inspection while taking pictures of any issues he found. We arrived when he was nearly done and he took ample time to go through ALL the issues he found. He also showed us how to work several systems in the home. Kent also provided some insight on up to date codes and any preventative maintenance measures we could take maintain our home. He even repaired the stuck garbage disposal! Kent provided the final report the same day. It was very detailed and included many pictures.

Kent Keith was on time for the inspection appointment. He was very thorough and took his time. The report was detailed and provided superb information to help me with the purchase of the residence. I would definitely use him again.

Kent Keith showed up right on time. It's an unusual house and he spent just over 4 hours going over everything. A structural enginering firm had already checked it out and was unable to identify the reason for a sinking floor in two rooms (one over the other.) Kent identified the cause and described the method needed to fix it. He identified termite damage, plumbing issues, electrical issues and safety issues. I knew the house needs a lot of work but he was able to provide a good list of specific items. I felt like the did a thorough job.

Kent did a great job in combing through every area of the house and pointed out all the little defects in the house, along with the major ones. He allowed me to tag along with him and filled me in on each area of concern he found. He took pictures of areas of concern and kept me filled in the entire time. He even got on top of the roof and checked it out. He did a very thorough inspection and didn't hold back anything. He gave his opinion on what to do when we asked for certain deficiencies. He gave us a lot of advice when it came to the attic and roofing. Kent was able to give us a report within 24 hours of completing the inspection. He was very prompt and very thorough in all of his work. He was very professional, and I will use him again when I need another home inspection.

I sent Kent at GreenTag Inspections an email letting him know that I was interested in getting a quote for a home inspection, and within a few hours he gave me a price that was $50 less than another highly rated Angie's List provider. Also, Kent's quote included a termite inspection and the competitor indicated that he'd charge another $80 for the termite inspection. Kent told me that he had availability within a couple of days, and I made a special request to have him to inspect the home on a weekend. He had no issue with this and was happy to set up an appointment for the upcoming Saturday. He arrived on time and everything went off without a hitch. When performing the inspection Kent encouraged me to follow him around as he taught me about the house and gave me pointers on home safety and energy efficiency. He also took the time to answer in detail any of my questions and helped me understand the implications of any findings. We had a fun time joking around and talking, but he still really knows his stuff and performed a very detailed and thorough inspection. Overall, I'd say Kent did a 5 star job on the inspection. He was prompt, courteous, personable, professional, and offered the best price I could find. Couldn't ask for a better deal than that.

ABSOLUTELY hands down, the best choice we made. He was prompt, thorough and professional. My husband is the one who was there and had only good things to say about Kent. I will be calling him today to discuss a few things we had questions about, but just had to get this review in. The price ended up being less than quoted and he honored the coupon for half off the termite inspection. The report was received very quickly, the next morning. We are pleased and Kent exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Kent for lessening our anxiety and being so professional...hard to find nowadays! Would certainly recommend and hire again!

Inspector came to the house, early and inspected the house then whet over all parts of the inspection in a detailed and very organized manner. We did not miss any part of the house. He documented all facts and provided a detail written inspection of the property. We discussed all details of the house and all the functional parts. He answered all my questions, I had many! I felt when we finished that he was very patient and professional. I wholeheartedly recommend him and will use him again in the future.

My daughter and I arrived about 10 minutes prior to the appt time, to find that Kent was already there. He was already at work once we walked into the house. Within the first 2 minutes of being inside, he pointed out something I had never seen, although I had visited the house 2 times before. Kent is very personable, friendly, and made my daughter and I feel like we had known him for years. He was very thorough and would take pictues and educate us on certain things he would find, whether it was something that needed immediate attention or things we may need to repair in the future. He is set up with PayPal, which was really great for me, as my wife rarely lets me carry the checkbook. LOL! He carries an extension ladder (very cool..I want one!) with him, allowing him to climb up on the roof to inspect roofing and gutters. Very impressed by this! I was also impressed with his respect for the home and current homeowner. After we finished going through the backyard, which was wet from rain, he pulled his towel out and wiped the grass and water from his shoes and then let me and my daughter use it, too. After the inspection was over, which was around 2 hours, he asked me if I had any questions, answered them and explained when he would have the reports ready for me. After receiving the report, I sent Kent an email about something he had mentioned that was a little generic. He revised the report and sent it back to me with better clarification. Outstanding!I am happy that Kent was able to perform this inspection for me. I know he drove a long way to get there, and am so grateful he did. I will definitely recommend him to all my friends and family....and call him about one of those cool ladders after I move in. Thanks Kent, you're the man!!!
