Two men showed on-time and provided an inspection of the dryer vent and exit vent from the house. They were extremely professional and it was refreshing how honest they were. They said everything looked great and there was no charge and even showed me pictures of how clean the vents were. I've never had them cleaned in my 8 year old home. They offered a couple upgrade options and I had them install a new vent hose from the dryer to the wall since the old one was dented and a little longer than it needed to be. Overall they were extremely honest and said I would be good for a many years. Great job!

HomeSafe Dryer Vent Cleaning service did an excellent for us by inspecting our one year old dryer vent with pictures, provided cleaning, and installed a new vent monitor system. We were concerned about the dryer vent run in our new condo because the vent exhausted straight thru the roof reaching 22 feet high. They cleaned up and shorten the flex vent behind the dryer and leveled our washer and dryer perfectly once they completed all their work. We were impressed by their professionalism, quality and friendliness to answer all our questions and concerns. They are the best in the business!

They were great. It turned out that I had a hole in the dryer vent hose. They went above and beyond to replace the hose and to clean up where the lint had been coming through. I would highly recommend them!

From scheduling to paying the bill all went very smoothly. Technician Steve called before heading my way, arrived on time, inspected & evaluated the dryer vent system from floor to roof top (where vent exited house), provided pictures of my very clogged vents, & quoted price for cleaning. I'm the type that will ask questions, watch what's being done, question why, etc. and he explained & answered every question. Steve cleaned from floor end and from the roof end. He found that the vent wasn't straight; it had an elbow bend which he was able to clear, too. He took pictures with his camera phone (before & after) & showed them to me as he took them. I was amazed how very clogged the vents were. There was so much "stuff" I doubt much "venting" happened. I'm lucky there wasn't a fire. A few days later, the dryer vent hose at the back of the dryer came apart after Steve left. Steve returned and re-connected the hose, no problems since. A couple years ago I had a cleaning company "clean" the vent. They did not ran the cleaning tools all the way to the outside, because they said they're tool stopped, and wasn't long enough. They did not locate where the vent exited the house (or so they said). I'm sure that elbow shaped section of vent was where these "cleaners" stopped. Probably did more damage than good. Home Safe's price is higher compared to what other cleaning companies charge. But, after seeing the pictures Steve took of the clogged vents, and then seeing how very clean the vents were AFTER....it's worth the extra money to do it right the first time. And, safer, too. My old dryer took a long time to dry clothes. Now that the vents are clean, clothes dry in much less time, and, the dryer doesn't feel hot to touch. It will probably be many years before I need to use them again because they did it right the first time. I will be using them next time.

The service turned out very good. I liked them a lot, he was good. I thought the work was excellent. We thoroughly liked him, he was prompt.

I called on a Tuesday and they were here the next day. The two service techs spent a little time looking over the vent system then got to work. In no time they were done. They showed us before and after pictures. I was impressed with the service and the professionalism.

He was very good. He found bird nests in the dryer vents. He was timely, professional, and did not try to sell me other services. He had a lot to clean out and showed me pictures of what was in my vents.

He arrived on time, left my attic door wide open although I told him how hard it was to close. It was considerable more for the cleaning. He did not even put he alert system on. Because of my misunderstand I was out the service. Plus, he removed a screen on my chimney that I did not want removed, said it was a violation. This is the second time I have submitted a report about the same thing on Angie's list.

Jacob and assistant Justin were a real pleasure to have in the house. My vent is hard to reach in the attic but they worked through the difficulties and got a connection in place (even went out to go get an unusual part). They also did a cleaning from the roof as well. After inspection on the roof they recommended a different roof cap on the roof, but there was zero pressure to have that replaced at this time unless I wanted to do that. On the way out, Justin even grabbed a drill and fixed my front door that wouldn't close properly, free of charge! Can't ask for more than that!

They arrived on time and started by describing to me exactly what they were going to do. They took pictures before they started, which they showed to me. It was incredible. There was only a 1" opening in the vent; the rest was clogged with lint. They proceeded with the cleaning, then installed a monitoring system that will alert me to when the vent needs cleaning again. They explained every step during the process. The entire process took less than an hour. It has been 2 months since they were here, and my wife is still talking about how much faster clothes dry now. She really can't get over the difference. The before and after pictures in their ad are almost exactly what our vent looked like. I recommend this company to anyone who hasn't had their dryer vent cleaned for 7 years or more.

I called HomeSafe Dryer Vent Cleaning because it was taking 3+ hours to dry even a small load of clothes. Figured it was either my dryer not working or the duct work was plugged up with lint. They were able to give me an appointment two days out. Jacob called before he arrived and arrived on time. He was friendly and professional. He knows the dryer vent business inside and out. He takes great pride in his work and it shows. He assessed the situation and took before pictures of both ends of the dryer duct. He showed me what he found and discussed my options. He proceeded to clean the vent from beginning to end and installed a new (bird/critter resistant) vent cover on the outside termination point. When he was finished he took more photos of the cleaned ducts. The difference was amazing! In the photos it looks like a brand new duct. As for my laundry, I can now dry large loads in 45-60 minutes. I asked Jacob how often a cleaning like this needs to be done. He said that it is hard to determine accurately because there are so many variables that affect it. He said generally 5-7 years is a safe guess. I opted to have him install a device call Lint Prevent. It plugs into the wall and is attached to the duct between the dryer and wall. It measures air pressure in the vent and had indicator lights that will change as the vent gets more and more clogged. I absolutely would use HomeSafe again and would highly recommend them.

The young men were just great; very helpful and courteous and most of all, knew what they were doing and explained everything. Absolutely would recommend them. A pleasant service call.

The service was nice and they did a really good job. The dryer is working good now and it was not before. I think that the service was well worth it. The offer was a little confusing as we thought the dryer vent cleaning was included. He told us that other people had the same confusion. We did have some scheduling issues to get him to come to my home.

They were prompt and professional. They provided the pictures of my dryer vent line through out and it showed clogging that I wanted removed, almost completely blocked in one area with lint/fur build up over 12yrs. I guess I should have paid better attention to the title of the deal. It was for the pictures and installation of the "Lint Alert" and did not cover the cleaning. I had prepaid for that deal, I think $79.00. To get the vent line cleaned it cost another $140.00 + $26.00 for the transition line that goes from the dryer to the vent in the wall. After 10% discount and taxes, I paid an addition $161.73. I needed to get the transition line so the "Lint Alert" would work better but that was my choice to buy that. They were done very quickly, less then an hour total and were professional and pleasant. I would recommend them for doing what they say and how well they do it. I do feel better having it done to extend the life of my dryer and prevent a fire hazard. I would look for a better price though. I do feel I over paid by paying a total $240.73 and it was a very easy procedure for them to do. I would look for a deal that includes the actual vent cleaning and not just pictures and the lint alert because it only makes sense that you would want it cleaned after seeing it!

Installed lint alert, cleaned dryer vent, and installed vent cover outdoors as we'll install a new and better dryer hose, my dryer works fabulously now! A little more $ than I had anticipated but it was in worse condition than I had anticipated worth every penny! |

Seeing the pictures of the vents before/after was nice. Professional and quality service.

They came out and did dryer vent cleaning for me. He was a very friendly young man. He did the work as promised. He was also very helpful. I did have to purchase a monitor from them and he installed that too. The monitor lets me know when the dryer vent is clogged. They did show me the photos too, due the Big Deal that I purchased.

The guy was very punctual and very professional, I just didn't expect the cost that I got (but I guess that all comes with homeownership) I gave a good rating because it is not their fault, I mistook the deal. I bought the $79 dryer vent inspection with Lint Alert (normally over ~150). All that happened was he took pictures of the dryer vent from the inside and the roof then said it would be another $160 to actually clean it out. That may be a good deal I don't know, I didn't realize it wasn't all included for the sale price I think I will just try to clean it out myself instead.

Bought this deal because I wanted the vent checked & cleaned. The exhaust vents to the roof and I was nervous about whether it was plugged. Daniel & Steve checked the pipe in the wall with a camera and it turned out it wasn't blocked at all. However the hood on the roof needed to be replaced and they matched the color of my other vents perfectly. They also replaced the dryer hose with a shorter one which increases the dryer efficiency as well. The other part of the Deal was to install a LintAlert alarm. Because I did not have an electrical outlet on that wall, we decided to forgo that part. So, while am VERY satisfied with the service & HomeSafe, I am disappointed in the lack of response re: getting the credit I am due. The deal was $79, HomeSafe's invoice was $44.38. How do I go about getting my credit?

Two young men came, identified themselves, and worked at the site (laundry room). The pulled back my dryer, and inserted a camera problem, took pictures, and showed me a picture of the internal dryer vent ductwork. The also offered an outside vent cover that was optional to purchased, which I declined.

It was just fine. I would recommend them. They contacted me and we got it taken care of. They were timely and they came out within a week. Everything was great and I would use them again.
