He was very professional. He moved everything and cleaned everything up for us. He did a very good job. He does a video inspection of what your vents look like before and after. He didn't rush through things. He was efficient yet made sure he did everything that was required.

Jacob from HomeSafe Dryer Vent Cleaning came out to our home to clean our vent. He had an opening come up a few days ahead of our originally scheduled service date and we took advantage of that opportunity. We rent our home, and thus we are not completely familiar with all the quirks of this house. One of these quirks was that we did not know where the dryer vented out to, being that our utility room is not located on an exterior wall. Jacob discovered that the vent was not properly installed and was actually venting into the interior space within a soffit on the home. The dryer vent was positioned over one of the soffit vents, which was in turn covered with a screen. Not only was the vent located in an improper location, it was constructed of mixed materials, including a piece of plastic flex duct to the vent in the soffit. It would likely not have passed a current code inspection, and we're not sure how it did at the time it was installed. The dryer vent was completely stuffed with lint. Jacob's opinion was that it had not been cleaned out since the house was built, over 15 years ago. The amount of lint that came out of the vent and duct system was incredible! Huge chunks of lint piled up! And that's what the vacuum system did not catch as Jacob cleaned out the system. Poor Jacob was covered from head to toe in lint by the time he was done. He had to vacuum himself off in addition the cleaning up the mountain of lint he removed. In addition to the cleaning, when he inspected the duct system and pointed out the poor design and mixed materials, he provided us with recommendation for correcting the challenges that the duct system had. We passed along to our landlords the pictures that he had taken of the duct system, along with Jacob's recommendation and current code requirements. The duct system has since been vented directly our through the roof with a proper roof vent. Jacob was here on time, called in advance to be sure we knew he was coming, just very professional and courteous. He was very meticulous while performing the dryer vent cleaning. He was in and out in less than an hour, completely cleaned the work area such that you wouldn't even know he was there. He removed some 32 years of dryer lint from the vent pipe going up thru the roof, believe me there was a bunch. We couldn't have been any happier with the service, in fact we are going to have him out one a year in the future to maintain a open vent pipe. Great guy and a great company.

Safehouse answered the telephone on Saturday night when we became concerned about the amount of time the dryer was taking to dry each load. It was a "load" off our backs knowing we had an appt the following Tuesday to have the lint evacuated. Jacob called 15 minutes before his arrival to let us know he was coming. He was efficent in his task , Cordial to all and highly recommended.

Overall: Excellent service and Jacob was an extremely friendly, likeable young man.

Good, took pictures not as bad as I thought since we are 3rd owners. Put on industrial vent tube, seals better that cheaper one that I had from original installation, extra cost to me but worth it. Clothes dry faster and less heat lost drying clothes in laundry room. Cleaned after completing service.

I purchased Angie's Big Deal to have my dryer vent cleaned. Jacob responded immediately when I called to set up an appointment. He arrived as promised and cleaned the vent and the inside of the machine. He also replaced the tube between the machine and the wall - all for the price of the "Deal." He told me that he did these other services because my machine set up went directly to the outside vent (less than 2 feet) and that he had some excess tube with him. Jacob was very professional, polite and knowledgeable. I would definitely call him again.

Jacob is very professional, friendly and easy to deal with. He showed us that our actual vent was not clogged, which was honest. He went on to take apart the back of the dryer, and vacuum out the lint and replace the vent hose. I felt that he did a thorough, professional job and would recommend him to anyone.

Excellent service. Jacob didn't have the tool needed at the time of visit to clean the dryer as it was stacked and offered to come back when he had the proper machine to do so at no additional charge. Very helpful, professional, courteous, realiable, trust-worthy. We will now be using him on our annual dryer cleanings!

Purchased services through Angie's List Big Deal. Jacob called promptly and we set up an appointment. This was something we had talked about doing for a long awhile. Service was performed beyond our expectations. Jacob called about 45 minutes before the scheduled appointment to let us know he would be here on time. As others have stated he is very thorough and does an excellent job. My husband was very impressed with how organized he was. Would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

I was very impressed with HomeSafe! Not only was Jacob professional, he was very friendly, polite, and knowledgable. He was very accomodating in giving me an appointment time that would work with my schedule. Because my laundry room is a tight fit, he moved my washer as well. He even up in the attic to make sure he knew how my dryer vent went our on my roof. He did an outstanding job and showed me pictures of my vent (yuck). After the job was done, he cleaned up the entire area and put everything back in place. Best of all, my dryer is now drying my loads of laundry in one dry cycle. I can't imagine how much energy and time I've wasted doing my laundry before the cleaning. I would totally hire HomeSafe to come out again and clean out my dryer vent!

I called the owner Jacob and he was extremely nice on the phone. We set an appointment just a few days out. (We had just had a nightmarish encounter with a contractor, so it was great to have a pleasant person to deal with. I can't say enough about his wonderful attitude!) I ended up having to reschedule with him because of a family conflict and he was very professional and understanding. When he came out on the day of service, he was on time and got everything done very quickly. I had no idea what to expect from a dryer vent cleaning, but he blew my expectations anyway! He was up on the roof and getting it totally clean! In addition to doing a thorough job with the vents, he cleaned the floor and walls in my laundry room. When he discovered that the transition hose had a tear, he had a product on hand to get that taken care of immediately (that spells one less errand for me to run). He took photos of everything before and after. I was so shocked...ack...but it was amazing how clean everything was in the end. It makes me feel happy to support someone's small business, especially when it's run by such a friendly person with a great work ethic. We will definitely use his company every year to keep things up to date. :)

Jacob Smith put forth extra effort to ensure that my system was in good working order, all the way from the dryer vent itself to the roof vent and the piping in between; and then he completed a thorough cleaning.He provided actual photos of the "before" and "after" conditions. Everything went great! I was able to watch them do everything, and I could tell that they were very thorough with the cleaning. He seemed to go out of his way to make sure everything was done right. He took pictures of the vent for me so I could see exactly what was happening with my system. They had very up to date equipment. I purchased a "big deal" so I spoke with Jacob late last week and we set an appointment for Saturday but the weather didn't cooperate. We then decided to reschedule to this afternoon. He gave me an hour 'window of time' when he should arrive but was held over at his prior job. He phoned to advise he was running late and gave me another time estimate and arrived right on time. Jacob looked at the existing interior dryer vent, and then went on the roof to check the exterior vent. He videotaped both, before and after, and showed me the pictures as he went. He cleaned the dryer vent, while continuing to check the roof vent to be sure was absolutely clear. He had found a birds nest blocking the vent on the roof and suggested a better cover style for my roof vent which will eliminate nests being built in the future. The price I paid included the "big deal", the new dryer hose, and the new roof vent cover. I will call to have the new roof vent cover installed by a person he recommended. Jacob is extremely nice, very knowledgeable, and took time to explain exactly what he was doing and answer questions I had. He was very neat and cleaned my floor prior to moving the dryer back into place, and even cleaned under my washer. He also put in a shorter vent hose to my dryer as the prior one had a big loop of excess hose and even replaced a cover that had fallen from around the washer hoses. I was very happy with the job he did and will definitely tell my friends & family.

Jacob arrived within the time range he had specified when I set up the appointment. He explained the services to be provided and went right to work. He showed us the buildup in the vent prior to any work, then cleaned the dryer vent so that it looked like new after he was through. He made a few suggestions for improvements to the system, which he helped us implement. He then cleaned up the area before he left. We were very pleased with the service he provided and will use him again in the future as necessary.

My son and I cleaned our dryer vent about 2 years ago and figured it was time to be cleaned again. We were reluctantly thinking about performing the duct cleaning in March or April of this year. A clean dryer vent will cut down drastically on the amount of time it takes your clothes to dry making what you thought was an old dryer function as if it was brand new! I found Jacob's advertisement on Anglie's list and, though I often thought about having this done, the offer made it worth finally getting this done. The day we had originally scheduled to have the work done was a pretty cold & miserable day, so I got a call from Jacob asking to reschedule. Though I was prepared to possibly have to wait a week or so, I was quite surprised when Jacob offered to come out on the following Monday. I was even more impressed since Monday was President's Day. Jacob called about 15 minutes in advance to let me know he was on his way. I found him to be very personable and professional. He even made some other suggestions about outside vents, but I felt no pressure at all to purchase. I did go ahead and order the outside vent, as it was something that I really needed in order to keep the birds from building nests. (had already cleaned them out several times) I would definitely recommend Jacob for this work and will be using him again in the future.

I called Jacob with HomeSafe Vent Cleaning mid morning and he arrived the same day in the early afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised by his promptness and was even more so elated with his demeanor and professionalism. He was very approachable and courteous. When it comes to service people in your home, it's always a bit of a gamble, but I was perfectly comfortable with his presence. He certainly seemed to know what he was doing and was in and out rather quickly but was also very thorough. He checked the vent end on the roof for debris, and begun working from the inside in the laundry room, removing the lint that had built up overtime. Once he was complete, he check the vent in the attic to make sure that the work he had just performed did not affect the vent in the forms of separations in the seems or other breaks. Once it was assessed that the vent remained fully intact he cleaned up quite thoroughly again, and I am enthralled with the outcome. Thanks, for the service, I will use you in the future if need be.
