+ -1 moreHomeSafe Dryer Vent Cleaning arrived on schedule and completed dryer vent inspection, but decided that cleaning was not required after inspection. He did not like my cheap dryer vent hose, so replaced it and cleaned back of dryer area all at no charge. I was please with the honesty and work done. I would definetely recommend their service due to quality of advice and work performed.
Description of Work: The job was to inspect and clean the dryer vent which in our case went through wall to the roof vent.

I was completely satisfied with the whole experience and was impressed by Jacob's obvious commitment to the delivery of excellent customer service.
Description of Work: We moved to a new (to us) home and I was concerned that the dryer vent might be clogged, as clothes weren't drying very efficiently and there was lint all over the laundry room. Jacob cleaned the vent thoroughly and gave me some advice as to the placement of our appliances.

They recommended a new dryer vent and dryer hose but said I was under no obligation or pressure to purchase either item. I would highly recommend them and will use their services again in the future.

+ -1 morePerfect. Everything was cleaned up with an HEPA vacuum cleaner and there was no residue or blemishes with the install job.
Description of Work: Homesafe was great. They can out after I purchased a coupon and assessed the work. I knew there would be more to do before they got there and I would have to pay more, but they also gave me a great rate on that as well. They replaced the hose for the dryer, drilled a new vent and fixed up the outside. It looks perfect. Highly recommend this company.

+ -1 moreFirst off, he was reommended by another company as they didn't clean vents that went to the roof. That is always a good sign. He was very professional and talked me through the scoping procedure and what he found (and it was almost totally clogged). He then quickly resolved the issue and also suggested improvements so this does not happen in the future. What I appreciated was the upfront nature as to the cost, trying to work with my schedule, quick resolution and determination to get the problem resolved (even if he had to refer me to someone else). I would highly recommend using this service.

Description of Work: Had no idea our 2005 house had a really full dryer vent until we found lint all over our front yard. Had no idea who to call when I saw Angies list book. It just happened to open up on the page for Home Safe dryer service. Jacob was very reponsive and came the next day took photos to show us how full our vent was and then again after the service was completed to see a really clean vent We asked how long it would take to fill up again and Jacob said he did not know for sure but would come out whenever we wanted to check the vent. He also suggested a vent indicator that would change colors when the vent was partly full. We decide to have one attached to our dryer and now feel that we have this problem under control. I would recommend Home safe to any one with a dry vent problem they are very professional and came on time. The service takes about an hour to hour and half

And I am certain that includes the amount built up before I even moved in, so there was probably 40 years worth of debris in there. Kind of scary! The before and after pictures say it all. Would definitely recommend.

+ -1 moreOverall, it went fine until I asked if I should have my outside "termination hood" replaced. The tech kind of hemmed and hawed, said yes, then no. Later, he thought maybe a new hood would be a good idea. I agreed and he said he'd order one, then return in about a week to install. After ten days or so, I called to see where the hood was and he blamed his wife for not calling me to say there would be a delay. Long story short, I never did hear back or get the new hood.
Description of Work: This was a Angie deal which was an inspection of the dryer vent.

He called about an hour and a half before the scheduled appointment, said he was ahead of schedule and asked if he could come early. He arrived and began to work. Very professional. He didn't try to upsell- same as previous reports say. He showed me pictures and explained a little about dryer vents. I felt very comfortable with him in the house. Would recommend him and his company to everyone!

Description of Work: My dryer was not drying the clothes properly. It would take two cycles to dry a load of towels. I had also smelled something burning. I knew that the vent hose went up through my attic. I asked HomeSafe Dryer Vent Cleaning to come clean all of the hoses and vents. They arrived the very next day and on time. There was a camera used to show me the lint buildup inside my vents. Everything was cleaned inside and out of the vents. After Jacob left, my dryer is much quicker at drying even towels.

+ -1 moreAs outlined above. Professional. Service was quick. Before/After pix for me to see the improvement. Always kept customer (me) informed as what he was going to do next. Sounds funny I was so interested, but to see the preparedness he had and how things were coming together like clock work, I just had to watch.
Description of Work: He did an OUTSTANDING JOB!!!! Really professional and knows the business. Not some fly by night let me buy some $20 vent brush and a vacuum. We routed our dryer vent through the garage. He came prepared and made things happen... the before/after pics are the proof in the pudding. Our clothes were drier faster after this cleaning. We felt safer too. I would strongly recommend anyone who hasn't done performed a cleaning for 10 years (like us) to invest in this cleaning.

+ -1 moreJacob was on time, professional and tidy. He performed the service we requested and at a reasonable price. In fact, it was even more reasonable insofar as he chose to replace our vent hose (because he did not like the look of it or how it was installed) for free. He also did not charge us for enhanced cleaning of the lint trap. He sells and installs lint alarms, although you might have to ask him about them because he does not like to up sell. I am sure most customers are like us and have only a limited appreciation of what goes into making a dryer safe. I really appreciate the fact that Jacob took it upon himself to be so thorough. There is a reason why he has such high ratings on Angie's List despite only having started his company three years ago. We will be using him again and recommending him to friends.

He immediately went to work, cleaned the entire vent, replaced a bad section of vent hose (interior) as well as the exterior vent outlet that had been broken for some time.
