We moved into this house in May of 2013. We had a home inspector come in and do his inspection so, everything checked out ok. Around December 29th I noticed some water near the water heater which is located in our garage. It was a small amount that appeared every time we used the hot water. So we made a call to our home warranty and they got in touch with Hers and His Plumbing. Drew with Hers and His Plumbing came out and inspected the unit, he determined that the tank was leaking and needed to be replaced. He also found out that the water heater was still under the Mfg warranty which the home warranty would not cover. So, in order for him to install it we would be responsible for the costs for the labor, to get the install up to code and the permit. Drew arrived at exactly the time he said he would be here. He got to work promptly at 0830 and was done at 1215 due to him having to drain the tank and take the tank to the warehouse for the swap. Drew cleaned up any mess aside from the water, wrote out the invoice and left me with an impression of a company that I could trust to do all of my future plumbing needs.
Description of Work: Installed electric water heater, which included bringing the unit up to code, getting the permits, and hauling away old unit.

Problem was the leak was from the heater still connected and it continued so I called them back. They said nothing was wrong and left even as water was streaming on the floor. The next 3 days of calling to check the status of the replacement water heater and to get another visit to stop the leak was not responded too.
Description of Work: Hers and His plumbing was called for a leak around my 2 water heaters, plumber disconnected and order one and left the other heater on.

it would take about 5 minutes for the the water to start coming out of the wall. The plumber told me I was making it up. When the bathroom did flood he accussed my neighbor of pouring water on the ground. We also caught him taking pictures of the dining room and living room with his phone. We had another plumber come out who discovered that all the pipes behind the wall needed to be replaced do to age. I have never experiance anything as shocking as the lack of professionalism they showed. When I checked with the home warranty company I use, I was told they have taken a lot of complaints about hers and his. The new plumber told me the same.
Description of Work: When I would turn on the kitchen sink the bathroom on the other side of the wall would flood.

The plumbing in our new house was clogged, so we called the home warranty company we had and they sent out someone from Hers and His Plumbing. My fiance took off time from work and had to skip one of her graduate level classes to make the appointment, and it wasn't worth it at all. The provider arrived on time and began looking around. My fiance told him what was going on, and he went to the bathroom. Without doing any actual work, he just declares, "Well that's your problem. You have crappy toilets." Then he went out and brought in a plunger, which of course didn't accomplish anything. He then went over to the washing machine drain where the clog was first noticed. He tossed around the washing machine carelessly, mumbling about how it was the smallest laundry room he had ever seen. He snaked out the line but didn't fix the clog and left the room with water all over the floor from when he tossed the washing machine around and smudges on the washing machine itself. At this point he started complaining about "these new home buyers who just see a new coat of paint and think everything is good." All of these comments insulting my fiance, myself, and the house we had owned for less than two weeks were said to my fiance's face. Finally, he said that he couldn't do anything more because the home warranty company wouldn't cover doing anything more unless we had a cleanout that went inside the house. The house has two cleanouts that go to the plumbing in the house, but he never even looked for them. He simply declared that houses as old as ours did not have any. No checking was done. The plunger he brought in he also left in the bathroom, and, when I went to move it, it dumped toilet water all over the floor. To sum up: my fiance missed work and skipped class only to be insulted to her face about how we were dumb to buy the house and how it was a crappy house, , to find no useful or true information about the plumbing system, and to have a mess be made in the house. I would never recommend this company to anyone. No professionalism was shown. I've never seen someone be so rude to a customer before. He was not helpful and seemed to just want to leave as soon as possible. Making untrue assumptions and not doing several of the things explicitly stated on the company's website as "promises."
Description of Work: The provider came to clean out our clogged drains.

This plumber was assigned to me by American Home Shield. After 2 minutes with the man I was ready to ask him to leave. I waited to hear what he was going to propose to fix our problem (gurgling toilets and slow draining), and when he wanted to cut through our tile to take out the toilet...and then said, "it's not my problem if water gets everywhere. I'm just here to fix your problem, I didn't create the problem," I was done. I don't know where the break down in communication was, but there obviously was one somewhere. When the company called to ask what the issue was, I explained our problem and specifically told the company I wanted the roof vents cleaned out. When I told the plumber that and he said they didn't do roof vents. I asked him to leave and I refused to pay the $75 service fee.
Description of Work: All he did was tell me he couldn't find our main clean out and p*** me off. I specifically told the company I wanted the roof vents cleaned out and he said they didn't do that. I don't know where the break down in communication was, but there obviously was one somewhere.

Not well. $75 payment for zero work.
Description of Work: Leak in our front yard so we placed service request thru our how warranty company website, which doesn't ask for location of leak. When this plumbing company called us we told them it was in the front yard. They send a guy who comes out and immediately tells us this will not be covered, but that we still owe him $75 for the trip. I called the company back and they say they have no idea what various warranty companies will cover, but I find it hard to believe they don't know American Home Shield doesn't cover this, yet when the guy pulled up he knew right away, and admitted that the leak being outdoors was in his notes. So why did he come?

Needless to say they could not perform any work and didn't have the best attitudes. The issue is still not resolved and I will not be calling this company again.
Description of Work: They were roofers from home warranty. I had four out of five toliets that were over flowing in my house. They came out to inspect the system. They told me that they could not find anything that was blocking the system, but it had to be underneath the house. They could not replicate any of the issues. I had the problem happen again so they had to come out and reinspect the toliets again. They assested them again and stated it may be a flushing issue; that the toliets are unable to handle any waste.
