Joe Guthrie was very professional, he came out with samples and took measurements and provided written quotes. We had porcelain tiles removed in the kitchen & foyer, old wood flooring removed in bedroom, sunroom and den and carpeting removed in living and dining room. We chose a variable width floor and two of our adjoining rooms have angled walls. Francisco is a master at laying new hardwood flooring. We were extremely impressed with the quality of the installation under our fireplace hearth.

Great! I did 2 rooms myself, needed this done in a hurry for family visiting. I hated paying someone else to install. But Joe putting the floor in was so efficient and looks so much nicer, I will hire to finish other rooms. Great Job.

Great! I felt like they had my best interests at heart, they gave good advice and the end result is stunning! Also a better price than the other company we looked at. My floors are 73 years old and they look almost new. I honestly can't tell the difference between the new wood in the replaced areas and the original wood around it! Whoever refinished the floors before we bought our house did a crumby job and Joe Guthrie's team was even able to correct those mistakes. Hopefully we won't have any more water damage, but if we did I would call Guthrie Flooring right away.

The work was done professionally without a problem. Joe was very knowledgeable about the various types of floors available. He brought over several samples and helped us with the selection that best met our needs. Once the job was completed the cleanup was exceptional. I would not hesitate to call him again or to recommend him.

Joe was very quick to respond and had Francisco come and give estimate the next day. Repair was done and it is PERFECT!!! My wife could not tell where the repair was done. Everything went well from start to finish. It was an insurance project. Joe Guthrie, the owner, came out personally and evaluated the damage and estimated what was needed to restore my hardwood flooring to it's original condition. He gave me his findings and an estimate of what it would cost. Joe was hands-on throughout the whole process. He personally monitored the readiness of the process before moving to the next step. Joe Guthrie basically hung up in middle of our conversation, I was asking a few basic questions that any one would want answers. Guess he got irritated, very unprofessional.

It went great and we love our new floor! We had Francisco who was a one man job on a roughly 500 sq.ft. job. He was able to tear up the floor and replace in about 4 days. It was a lot of work for one guy but we were very impressed by his work! It was a a fantastic experience!

Guthrie's flooring did a fantastic job installing our new engineered hardwood flooring in our home. We have a garage addition that was previously used as a kid's playroom, and we wanted to turn this space into a formal dining room. We had Guthrie's remove the old, grungy carpet and install new flooring to match the original hardwood in the rest of the home. Joe gave an accurate estimate and went out of his way to find the closest hardwood to match. The installation was done lightning fast with a high degree of workmanship. The crew was very professional and cared about the quality of their work. They brought to light an issue with the subflooring that they subsequently repaired. I have a feeling that most other flooring crews would've covered over the spot with new wood without even mentioning the problem. The things that impressed me most about Guthrie's Flooring are both their responsiveness and the fact that they stand behind their work. When one of the slats of wood splintered due to what had to be a manufacturers' defect, I was easily able to get back in contact with Joe and schedule them to repair the issue free of charge. The crew came in and replaced the piece, and it looks like there was never an issue. I would highly recommend Joe Guthrie and Guthrie's flooring to anyone looking to have new floors installed in their home. They also polish and buff existing hardwood floors. I will definitely be in touch with Joe again when it comes time to refinish the rest of the hardwood flooring in my home.

Joe and Francisco gave me a very thorough estimate of cost and time involved. They finished ahead of schedule and within the original estimate. The work was of high quality and my new floors look beautiful. Throughout the process they communicated well and were a pleasure to work with.

Overall, the experience was excellent. Joe Guthrie will provide a good estimate, won’t overcharge. His installer, Francisco, is an absolute artist.
