Painter arrived 10 minutes early and got the job done. They did not mess up the sinks with paint which I. appreciate . It took some time to book the job because they had a family emergency but they did call and book me in the first of August so I can show the unit to tenants. Thanks for touching up the living room and kitchen pass the 8 hours !

Augustin came to my house to a**** the job and give an estimate. We agreed on the price and date to complete the project. They arrived promptly at the agreed time on the 9th and completed the job quickly and efficiently. They are prompt, courteous and professional. I will use their services again.

We have an older home with wood siding and paint that was in very rough shape. Augustin and his crew prepped our house for painting, repaired damaged siding and other exterior details, and installed and framed an exterior storm door. Augustin applied 2 coats of paint for a 2-color scheme with some detailing at the top of the house. All in all it came out very nicely, and our house now looks so much prettier than it did before. In fact, all our neighbors were a bit jealous. 6 months have now passed, and the workmanship is holding up well. Some of the other proposals I had received seemed to be motivated more by potential profit and personal expertise than what was good for us as home owners. However, Augustin gave a very good quote compared to other contractors. I expected the price to go up as the work went along since there are always unexpected problems, but Augustin stayed within the quoted price and provided what I feel was reliable advice on the problems we faced. His crew showed up regularly, even though rain was an issue, and they all worked very hard. I even had a neighbor who, after seeing them work, commented that whatever I was paying them, they were definitely worth it. Communication was very good, and Augustin and his crew were easy to work with. I'd recommend them to anyone looking to have their home painted.

We had Augustin and his guys paint the exterior of our house and were very happy we did. He is a professional, polite person and his crew as well. They power washed, caulked, and painted the house very efficiently, and left everything clean afterwards. Because that went so well we had him paint my father-in-law's home also with the same results. We also hired him to paint a new storm door to match the trim using special metallic paint that we weren't comfortable doing ourselves and it looks great. We have some interior work planned soon and hope to use his services for that also.

They were very accommodating - working with us quickly so we could list our home. Augustin was very personable and helpful, offering to touch up some spots in rooms. Augustin and Orlando are skilled painters. We are very pleased.

It was a pleasure doing business with the three gentlemen working on this job. From the initial telephone contact they were very professional and courteous. They work was performed as promised and on time. They were no major issues. We love the finished product and will definitely recommend and use this company again.

Gold Stars did an excellent job! After I called for an estimate, they came out the next day and provided a detailed estimate in writing. They caulked, primed and painted the exterior of my home and refinished my front door. They did everything they said they would do and the quality of their work is excellent. They even had a paint truck come to my house and matched the new color of paint to the brick on my house. Unlike the other bids I received, which wanted me to go to a local paint store and pick out the color on my own.

The crew did a very good job in all areas. They were punctual and arrived each day during the duration of the job. There were a couple of items that took longer for them to complete (mostly replacing rotted wood along two window arches), but I did not receive any complaints or attempts to increase the pricing. I was very satisfied with the speed that Gold Stars completed the project. We were under a time constraint and they were able to meet that without any problem. I would definitely use Gold Stars again and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Augustin came on time and worked in a very professional manner. The new paint looks great, everything was cleaned up, mirrors and cabinets were re-installed. Highly recommend Gold Star Painting.

I purchased an Angie's List deal for 2 exterior painters for a day. I set up an appointment and asked if they wanted to come and look at the house before showing up for the actual job, and Agustin said no they would just come out to paint. The day before they were scheduled to show up Agustin called to confirm and to ask a bunch of questions. He told me that he wasn't expecting such a large job and that the people coming out to paint had not planned on bringing a paint sprayer. If I wanted them to bring a sprayer it would cost $200. My first thought was what kind of exterior house painters do not immediately bring a sprayer, it's the exterior, it should be self-explanatory that it's going to be a larger outside job, and paint brushes alone would not be sufficient. I have re-read the deal to make sure that I didn't misinterpret what was being offered. It says nothing about being paint brushes only. I fully expected the job to take more than the one day from the Angie's List deal. I was given an estimate of 3 more days to finish and a cost of $1200. The cost is reasonable and I have no problem with it. They finished the next day (Monday, 15 Dec 14). I am very pleased with the results and I would consider using Gold Star again. However, I feel that they should come out and look at an exterior painting job before just showing up.

The service went well. Armondo came out for the touch up work and completed the job in about 1 day. They were very professional and great with the cleanup afterwards. He did a great job. He also did a little bit of sanding wood on the garage and some painting out there. I had no problem scheduling the service.

The guy showed up exactly at 9am as was offered which right there was huge to me. I showed him what I wanted done and he got right to work. He worked quickly and efficiently which I also appreciated. He did almost everything I asked of him and the only reason he couldn't finish is because the power went out an hour before he was done. I would definitely hire this company again and that guy deserves a raise :)

These guys are fantastic. I can't say enough great things about them. They were on time, fast, had great attention to detail and the rooms just look beautiful. We had some very high 25 foot walls that were painted as well and this wasn't a problem for them. They were very patient and very helpful even teaching us painting techniques and giving tips to complete other areas of the house later. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for excellent painters.

Good service; on time; professional. Had to call him back out to get the gable vent trim (simple oversight, not an issue, but he did have to come back and stain the wood since they missed it - that's the only reason I didn't give them an "A" on all counts...).

It was an excellent experience. I dealt with Augustin and he was consistently professional, easy to communicate with and always did what he said he would do. He was also very easy to get a hold of and a hard worker. They also re-did work that needed to be redone when pointed out. I would definitely hire him again.
