Fixed. Very good. However, facing on tub to control tub stopper left empty.and worn rubber around stopper ignored. Tub still doesn’t hold water once drawn. Extra water has to be used when drawing bath water otherwise it all drains out. I thought maybe he would suggest it seeing it was open and bear but no. It’s The type of stopper that’s not easily removed because it’s a permanent picture of the tub so you can easily replace it with another.

Water pressure was due to dirt in faucet. He showed us how to take faucet apart and clean but said if problem continued we would probably have to get a new faucet. Stove top was not able to be fixed and he advised us to have someone measure and then install a new stove top. I was pleased with his opinion especially since I had already had someone out who told me I had a leak which I already knew and then said I needed a gas plumber. I had already explained that I needed a gas plumber

They were very good. I've had them come out once before as well.

I called to get a standard quote for a garbage disposal replacement, and they refused to give me a high level estimate over the phone. “It’s company policy”. If their quote for a basic service was too high, there is no reason to waste my time by having someone come into my home

He was prompt, very professional, and very understanding. I didn't even know I was going to get a discount from using Angie's List and they told me about it. They called me within 15 minutes of putting in the request. I just feel like I paid a little too much for it.

Went better than i expected the guys that came out were excellent they were friendly, efficient, and quick.

Had a leak under the floor in a pier and beam house. Tech made sure to take lots pictures, before and after, so I knew exactly what he was fixing. Punctual, helpful, and nice guy.

The first try didn’t work at all. Chuck came on Wednesday and said the toilet was leaking and needed to be replaced but he couldn’t do it until Friday. On Friday, he came with a new toilet. He did not wear shoe covers and I worried about where those shoes might have been. He picked up the trap door opening in the floor and then couldn’t get it back in. He said it was warped. My kids fixed it later that day. He didn’t clean up after himself in the bathroom and he left the old toilet sitting in front of my house. On Tuesday, the new toilet was leaking worse than the old one. When I called Tuesday morning saying it was an emergency, they weren’t concerned and said Chuck was busy. They finally said they would schedule someone between 1 and 4. Fortunately Chuck remained busy and Martin arrived. Martin was the opposite of Chuck. He had covers on his shoes and seemed competent. Screws were loose attaching tank. He fixed it quickly and cleaned up after himself. The manager later called and apologized, rebating part of the cost. I have always had good experiences with Ernie’s Plumbing . I will call them again forplumbing needs - so long as they don’t send Chuck.

$390 estimate gets talked down to $250. Part cost $15.13 and was secured with a single screw. No longer than a 30 minute job. Wife got out of the shower and told me that the shower would not turn off. I attempted to turn off shower with no luck. I came to the conclusion that the plastic handle to adjust temperature and water flow was broken. I shut off my water and called Ernie's because I have used them before. Called the number located on the website and was pleasantly surprised that I called at 07:01 and was told a plumber would be at my house between 08:00 and 12:00. Plumber arrived at my residence at 08:03. I believe his employee ID is #483. I explained the situation and escorted the plumber to the shower. Without even attempting to diagnose the problem himself. He stated usually its the handle and cartridge that is broken and in need of replacement. He stated the estimate to repair would be $390. I stated that I thought the price was steep and believed the cartridge was fine and just the plastic handle was broken due to it free spinning. The plumber requested for me to turn the water back on for him to assess. I turned the water back on and returned to the shower where the plumber had tightened the cartridge finding that it was not broken. The plumber reassessed his previous estimate to $250. He handed me the estimate sheet and as I was reviewing he attempted to rush me as I was reading the fine print. I asked about the part. The plumber stated the part that I needed was a specialty part that could only be purchased at a plumbing supply store. I signed the estimate and the plumber left to purchase the part. I made a call to home depot for a second opinion. I spoke with a plumbing department associate and explained what I thought was broken. The home Depot representative stated the parts were easy to install yourself and would cost no more than $80. I called back to Ernie's dispatch and requested the plumber to cancel and return my part to me. He arrived and gave me the part back. I took the broken handle and used my guest bathroom handle that was not broken and took the parts to Home Depot. I located the replacement part created by the same maker (Moen), and purchased the replacement handle for $15.13. I returned home and replaced the handle and secured it with one screw. 30 minute job maximum. Disappointed in the attempted scam and overcharging. A fair price would have kept my business. But attempting to charge $234.87 for a 30 minute maximum one screw job is absolutely ridiculous.

They did a great job. I thought their price was a little high but they were very professional. They were on time and let me know what the price was up front. I would use them again.

Ernie's responded to my request quickly and I had a tech out within a couple days. The tech looked at the projects I had and gave me an estimate and was able to come back the next day to do the repair.. He had to go under the house (pier and beam foundation) so when the work was completed he took pictures so we could see that it was done well. The tech answered all the questions we had and was friendly and professional.

Matt explained in order for faster hot water i would need a dedicated line to kitchen. I figured as much, but needed to have unit flushed as it had done been done for a few years. Matt showed me how to do it in the future. Matt also took time to see about increasing temperature to 130 from 120, was unable too.

Toilet still running and replaced good handle in guest bath with cheap one when replacing the mechanism. Will never allow them back in my home!!!

I requested a quote through Angie's List and not even 30 minutes went by before the receptionist called me. A technician named Greg came out within an hour. He gave me 2 routes to go - either replace the heater itself or replace the temp panels. The latter might've given me an extra year or two on a 9 year old heater. But, at any rate, I was pleased with his honesty and options that were given. I had previously had another company come out that is contracted through our home owners policy. The technician that came out talked in depth with me about what needed to be done, only to leave and add on $636.00 out of pocket "necessary" work to be done. I asked Greg if I needed all those things done that this other company said needed to be done and Greg said no. I knew I was being taken by this first guy. I really appreciated Greg telling me what the issue was and he wrote up a detailed proposal right then and there. Two days later, the receptionist called me for a follow-up to see how things went, which I thought was very professional and displayed good customer service. In the end, we decided to go with another company. It really came down to Ernie's and this other company from Angie's List (not the one from the home owners policy) - it was a toss-up. Both gave us similar prices and used highly rated water heaters. Both had great customer service. The other company happen to have the heater I needed on his truck so it was a matter of convenience & coordinating with my day off. I wouldn't hesitate to call Ernie's again for another job. It's a great company. A+ from me.
