The plumber removed the cleanouts and ran an auger. It seemed to help. Running a camera down the drain was discussed. I asked how much. He said $99. I said ok. He told me he saw an unusual edge going into the tank and pulled out a baby wipe. I payed Almost $300 and he left. March 28, it happened again. Couldn't flush toilets. Called Ernies. They said it would be 3 days before they could come. I called a friend in the septic system business. We dug and uncovered the tank, open it, and discovered it was full. one of the pipes in the tanks was clogged. The system needed pumping. The unusual edge was a pvc pipe T at the end of the pipe. Shouldn't plumbers know a little about septic systems? I think I deserve at least a partial refund.

I cannot say enough for the Great Service of this company. I had called yesterday to schedule and they said they could be out next day. Instructed me they give free estimates upon arrival and assessment of problem They also do not charge travel fee. I had had leaky toilet and he checked it out, described problems, said he had replacement parts in truck and could complete immediately. He completed work within a half hour. Also checked out other toilet and shower head. Neal was the plumber that responded to call. Very professional, every efficient! Also when I called to schedule they informed me that coupons were available and would email info. Truly OUTSTANDING COMPANY!

It was great. He did a very good job, was in and out. I would recommend them.

The technician was nice and knowledgeable. He worked quickly and was done with the repair in under an hour. Overall I was very happy with the quality of work. The central office was easy to work with, quick to schedule the service call, and called about 60 minutes before arrival to confirm. I was a bit shocked at the $330 estimate to fix this issue, especially after it was completed in under an hour. But, I was happy with the work.

We had an outdoor spigot that was leaking that we wanted to fix and also wanted two other outdoor spigots checked. Terry came out during the time frame I was given. We walked around, and he could immediately see that the spigots were old and out of code. He recommended replacing all three to bring them up to code and to prevent future problems with leaking, etc. He gave me an estimate before he started that I agreed to. He replaced all the spigots and insulated them as well. He then asked that I walk around the house with him again so that he could show me exactly what he had done and demonstrate that they worked. Terry was friendly but also very professional. We are pleased and will probably use Ernie's again in the future.

They were able to schedule same day service, communicated arrival time well, and quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue. Just after the technician left, I noticed the same toilet leaking from a different spot and called their office. They called the technician, who came right back and fixed the new problem, likely caused by moving the toilet around. Highly recommend.

I found them on Angie's List. The person who came out, Craig, was a great, knowledgeable plumber. He came out and did the tests and then we requested him to come back and do the work. He was very thorough in explaining everything to us so that we could understand what was going on. We even called him later when we had some questions about other plumbing in the house. He is a good guy and we really liked him.

The service technician was John. He arrived within the window that was given. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. He advised me on what needed to be done. I will definitely utilize Ernie's for the annual service check-up for the water heater and any future plumbing needs..

This is the second time we have used this company; it has to be one of the best plumbing companies we have ever come across, they are fair, responsive, well mannered, and very knowledgeable. Fred, employee number 306, was the technician this time around. He explained everything in detail to me and then again to my husband. The first time we had Archie, who was also very well mannered and knowledgeable. We cannot say enough good things about this company.

Unfortunately Ernie's was my 3rd call & not the 1st. Will be 1st call anytime need plumber in future. 1st vendor called posted hours of 7a -7p. called 7:02 am got voice mail, left msg. 8:37 no call back so I called back to learn they had no one avail til next day, no explanation of why call not returned. 2nd vendor I called could not handle call until next day would put me on waiting list & possibly could do after hours for extra $$ but if it rained (which was forecast) would not be able to provide service. Called Ernie's 08:56 was told could have plumber at house between 11:00 & 3:00. got call 11:41 informing plumber on way within the hour Don arrived in uniform presenting himself very professionally. Showed him issue where quest fitting in to copper had split & was leaking. Don presented a couple possible resolutions, mentioned a gate valve in the line that could be left but probably would not meet code. I told Don to make repair as if it was his house & take in to consideration wife & I hope to retire in near future & may sell house creating a home inspection in the future. Don explained what he would do & gave me estimate, I approved & he immediately went to work. Less than 3 hours later manifold had been restructured, new ball valve with valve box installed & work site all cleaned up. Noticed average ratings for Ernie's on Angie's List are all "A" except price which comes in as "B". I have absolutely NO problem with price. Got service same day in reasonable amount of time & warranted work, definitely worth it to me.

Terry called before arriving as promised. Arrived within the 4hr window as promised. Presented a clear outlined proposal for cost of repair work prior to initiating. He was very neat and tidy, used shoe covers, very courteous. He explained all repair work step by step. Finished in a timely manner.

It was good. The plumber was extremely hard working. He worked several hours. He gave me an estimate on it before that for 270 if he had to work on my roof to do my drain and if he had to do my sink; it would be 160 and they spent 5-6 hours at my home trying to get that thing done and they finally accomplished it and still charged me the original 270 dollars and I was pleased with it. This is the first time I've used them. They were the best. They were very, very good. They gave me an estimate and they stood by it. The man who worked there; worked and worked there and he didn't take a lunch break. It was excellent. They were ahead of time. They were professional.

I received quotes from other companies to do a minor rebuild, major rebuild, & a toilet replacement to resolve the issue of running water in my half-bathroom toilet. My other quotes did not make mention of a simple flapper replacement. The primary reason I wanted a plumber to look at my toilet is because we had previous issues in this bathroom we didn't want to happen again (clogged main line which caused flooding in our kitchen; having to get another minor rebuild to resolve a similar issue a little over 2 years ago by another plumbing company). Ronald provided an honest assessment & didn't try to up sell me on anything I didn't need at this time. Because we have hard water at our home, I anticipate needing other plumbing work done, such as a water heater replacement. I will be sure to call Ernie's Plumbing again once any other plumbing related issues arise.

We really like them. He dressed nicely. He looked like a plumber and he was very professional. He took his time and did a good job. He consulted with us the different ways on how we could choose to correct that problem. The price was somewhat high.

I called this afternoon and was told someone would arrive by 6 pm. No one showed. I now have a lot of water on the floor. I should have called some other company, but since you are so highly rated, dumb me believed you when you said someone would be out. Now the water will keep pouring out until I can call some place else in the morning. Thanks for nothing!

I had used this provider in the past and was very pleased with their services. However, when I went back to use them again, they had substantially increased their rates and failed to inform me of this until after the service was completed. It was the same exact service they had provided us in the recent past, but cost us about three times the previous rate. I was very upset they refused to bring this to my attention before completing the service.

He did a good, fine job. He does good work and he is efficient.

I asked for an estimate to replace our old water heater. The technician that came out reeked of smoke so bad. He was a nice young man but I did not feel confident in his plumbing abilities. He did not seem to know much about water heaters, I felt i knew more and I have only researched them on the internet. I told him we wanted a 80 + gallon new tank, he said we could not do that and the biggest we could do would be an 65. He went for a while to his truck and came back and told me he had called the office and they said they could do an 80 (well he thought it was an 80, he wasn't sure). The estimate for a 65 gallon was 2500 and the estimate for an 80 was 2899 plus some extras. I was absolutely floored at this estimate. I don't know who would pay that for a new water heater and if they were trying to take advantage of this woman but they are nuts! I am having a 80 gallon water heater installed for 1150 through another company on Angie's List and that included everything. I would not use this company, their pricing is way off.

We use Ernie's Plumbing. I called them Monday morning, they were out withing two hours. They were very prompt and very professional. They came out and got the job done very fast. The price is very competitive. The prices are pretty much like everybody else. I've used them before.

Fred checked the fireplace and found the hole in the existing corroded gas line which had eaten its way through the steel gas distributor to the gas logs. He shows me the problem and explains what need to be done. He replaced the gas line and hooked up both ends, lit the line and fire appears as normal. He went out of his way to make sure the logs were placed correctly with the sand to make it look realistic. Relit the fireplace with logs in place and it was beautiful. Fred is a great worker

Plumber was on time, actually early, and replaced faucet in less than 30 minutes.

I've always been really pleased with their work. They're very good.

Ernie's is awesome, my kitchen faucet broke Sunday night. I couldn't turn the water off under the sink. I was able to slow it down considerably, but still a steady stream of water, ouch. I called this morning, I was given an 11am to 3pm arrival time. They showed up earlier than I expected, I was new to their service, really thought it would be more like 3pm. I was treated like their best customer. Pete explained everything to me, fixed the valves and replaced the faucet! It works great, thank you so much!! I will use them in future if I have any plumbing needs!!

I called Ernie's a couple minutes after they opened (7am). The woman who answered was friendly and accommodating in setting up an arrival window between 10am - 2pm. She advised that I would receive a call from an 888 number when the plumber was in route to let me know. About 25 minutes later, I received a call back letting me know that the plumber could be at my house in an hour! That was great as I had been dealing with a stressful leak throughout the weekend. Jason arrived and was friendly and courteous. I showed him the issues and he said he needed a few minutes to write up the estimate. He came back and provided two scenarios. The first scenario, would just involve replacing the shut off valve and supply line. That would cost $203. The second scenario would also require replacing the main valve which would be an additional $475. He said that he would need to do the first to know for sure if the second was required. It took Jason about 15 minutes to take care of what I had been struggling all weekend with! After verifying that the leak had been resolved, he also checked the main valve. I was incredibly relieved when he said the main valve was fine and didn't need to be replaced. While incredibly happy with the service and quick resolution, it seemed that $203 was a bit high for 15 minutes of work. Be that as it may, I knew the pricing up front and agreed to it. Also, there wasn't a trip charge. The work and parts are covered by a one year warranty as well. Overall, I'm happy with my experience with Ernie's and would call them first for any other plumbing issues.
