Peter did a great job and completed the repair in less the 8 hours. He was totally knowledgeable concerning the city codes and was very professional.

He was prompt, personable and reasonably priced. He gave us several options and didn’t push any major repairs on us! Always a plus!

Went great we had a leak in our upstairs toilet the technician found and repaired the leak and then installed a new toilet.

I had the FREE leak detection that cost $750 by the time they did about 1.5 hours of work! They NEVER located the leak!!! Ernie was contacted and stated the tech mispriced the service and stated they would rebate $200. However the rebate never was completed!! I have contacted and had the same work estimated from other plumbers, and the highest full leak detection was $250.00, and the contracted technician found the exact location of the leak. Ernie's quote to fix the leak was $7,200 and the other plumbers highest quote was $1,800. Beware of tis firm!!

Plumber Thomas came to evaluate the problem. Diagnosed a hot water slab leak and restored cold water to house until hot water could be repaired. Gave us written bid and estimated time and day of repair. Plumbers Thomas and Craig came at promised time. Were prompt, professional, and efficient. They located leak, repaired it with minimal damage to wall, and left work area clean and in good order. They gave good explanation of where leak was found and how they were repairing it.

They showed up and quoted $225.00 for a simple drain cleaning that I had done several times before for $100. When I told them I couldn’t pay that much they got mad and ran their mouth all the way out the door. Very unprofessional. I called the manager who said he would take care of them but didn’t offer to take care of my problem.

I was told it would be $350.00 and they use a camera to detect if there is a leak. He said he didn't see any leak and he can see where there has been a leak in the past. The bill came to $690.00. This is not what we expected. He said he had to pull the commode up and then reinstall it, he also had to repair the flange He said this is the reason for the additional charges. If the commode has to be pulled up and reinstalled in order to detect the leak with a camera, that amount should have been included in the quote I was given before the work started. I feel I was grossly overcharged. To add insult to injury, as he was leaving he said there is a part in the commode that needs to be replaced. We did not know it would be $690.00 until he was ready to leave. The total charge was $715.00 minus the $25.00 senior discount through Angie's List, leaving the balance at $690.00. Update: One day later, Randy, the general manager, called and he went over the bill with me. He felt like he should reimburse us $215.00 as we were overcharged. We feel much better about this company now.

GOUGED! Paid $480 to replace about a 4 ft section of pipe that had been leaking. Couldn't have taken him more than 60 minutes. Probably didn't spend more than $30 in materials. Originally quoted me $700 to replace about 20 ft length but when I scaled back the job significantly still charged me $480. See white pipe in the picture. Will never use them again. Cant be trusted.

The plumber arrived on time and was friendly. I appreciated the fact he wore covers over his shoes. He worked quickly and fixed the issue. Only thing that I didn't really appreciate was that he didn't clean up after he was done working, which was a small mess since he opened up the wall causing a lot of dust and such within the bathroom.

Really nice, professional plumbers (Shawn and Miles) were unable to reach and unclog the stoppage. I told the dispatcher in advance that three years prior their plumber was glad he brought his longest drain snake. Was very disappointed of course at today's failure and that today their next option was a "blast jet master" for $ 595.00, with no guarantee of success.

Craig and his crew did a wonderful job. I was really dreading it but they took care of everything and it is great to have my bathroom back. Craig was honest and knocked some off the bill because it wasn't quite as bad as he thought when they got into it. He didn't have to do that and I am so thankful that he did. That is the kind of service person every company should have. I am a customer for life!

Excellent because I didn't have to have the floor jacked up and the pipe replaced.

Greg came back with Pete and found that he was right - a knockout valve had been trapped in the pipe for years before I bought the house. They worked all morning to get it out while staying within my budget range (and thankfully not ripping into the concrete of my bathroom)! They successfully removed the pipe remnant and for the first time, I have a fully functional guest bathroom! Greg was courteous, gave an honest assessment, and didn't try to nickel and dime me with a bunch of extra services. He and Pete did their best with what they could do without destroying the bathroom at my expense - and it worked. They didn't charge any more than their estimate and were able to do the job in a few hours what another plumber couldn't do in 3 trips. WILL hire again (hopefully won't have to) but they did the job RIGHT, and I greatly appreciate their work.

Great customer service! Justin was very courteous and professional. He was in and out in no time and didn't mind taking his time to explain the problem and the solution to me.

Came by promptly on Monday morning. Determined what the problem and fixed it. My only complaint was he wouldn't do an extra project (put a new wax ring under one of the toilet). He acted like he was a doctor and was only there to fix one thing. I will use Ernie's again but I hope to get a different technician.

I don't think my buyers will use Ernie's to make the repairs simply because the "free estimate" turned out to be rather expensive.

This was a no-risk venture for us since Ernie's provides a free call-out service. But it did cost us 4 ½ hours of our time and an unpleasant interaction. First, kudos to Sabrina. On the phone, we were instantly connected to a live person (Sabrina) who scheduled the diagnostic visit the same day – I was very pleasantly surprised! Unfortunately, the plumber himself arrived 30 minutes late – after a 4 hour time-window (very inconvenient). And more-concerning: The plumber himself was very curt, and seemed more-interested in generating an invoice than actually diagnosing the problem (the whole point of the visit). I explained that the hot water valve that should connect to the washing machine slowly leaks. Without hardly looking at the leak, the plumber said the wall would need to be cut open, and he went back to his van to crunch the numbers. With no-more explanation, an $875 estimate was generated and we were asked to make a decision - talk about high-pressure sales! Putting the unexpectedly-high price aside, the plumber did not inspire my confidence or trust, and the face-to-face customer service needs an overhaul. We followed up with a very friendly plumber from a different company, and were told the problem would likely resolve itself once our washer lines were connected. Additionally, if repairs were needed, we were given an estimate of about $250 tops. Needless to say – Ernie's hasn't earned our business.

I'm not sure I've used them before, although I might have, but this time I basically had read several of the reviews for Ernie's, and sounded like it might be a good choice for a problem we were having. I think it took about an hour and a half or two. Communication was very good. He showed us the valve he was replacing with and they were much simpler and better than the ones that he was replacing. Most of them he was replacing were leaking. He did just fine; he cleaned up well. I would say, basically, he went above and beyond in his diligence and sticking to the job. Plumbers get in very small and cramped places sometimes, and there were probably a few of those here.
