Franks team was always prompt, did a great job cleaning up, and their work was impeccable! You couldn't even see that we did a renovation! Frank's quality of work is superb. We are elevating our home with estate level finishes, and he definitely saw our vision and did an amazing job! We look forward to having Frank back in 2015 to paint the rest of our home. We did get three quotes, and Frank was right in the middle. He is honest and upfront with his (teams) capabilities. I would highly recommend him.

The crew was very professional and responsive. Removal of popcorn from the ceiling is a messy process, but the crew took care to protect furniture and flooring and did a great job cleaning up. Frank and his crew made sure all our final touch-ups were taken care of. I would not hesitate to use this company again for additional painting and related remodeling projects.

I received an estimate from the company to refinish our tub and soap dispenser. When the guys came to do the work, they did not refinishing the soap dispenser, which was one of the part of our tub that was peeling the worst. When I contacted the company about it, the response I got was that he give lots of estimates a day and that he didn't remember to include that in our estimate that he had his secretary type up. He acted like it was my fault for not noticing that it wasn't on the invoice and was going to charge me to come back out and fix it (even though he included refinishing it in my original estimate) I was also sent a different invoice after the job was finished that included an extra $25 for "parts", which I had also discussed with the owner about reusing the same parts we had, since they had been replaced less than a week before. The owners attention to detail was not very good. It also seems to me when the guys came out to refinish the tub and noticed major paint peeling on the soap dish, a call could have been made to their boss to verify if they were supposed to include it or they simply could have asked me. I never heard anything back from the company when I called to complain about this. I will not use them in the future.

DeVries gave me an estimate on the phone, and that's exactly what it cost. They came out at the appointed time and went promptly to work, protecting all surfaces that were at risk of being damaged. When they left, they took all of their mess with them and gave us thorough instructions on caring for the tub and how to replace the overflow valve and drain, which we chose to reinstall ourselves. The tub looks absolutely brand new, and we could not be more pleased. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend, and would use them again if the need arose. Great job!

Before scheduling the appointment, Frank clearly explained the process and the benefits of his product. I scheduled the appointment which was a 2-day process. The first day, Frank and his assistant prepped the area and the tub and then applied the coating. They were very meticulous about making sure the area was protected. Once the coating was applied, the tub looked like it was brand new. The second day, Frank returned to finish the caulking and reinstall the hardware that had been removed. Frank is very detailed and passionate about his work. I will be recommending him to my friends.

I bought an old antique tub that is needing refinishing. I joined Angie's List and found/called Sharp's refinishing as well as a few others. I have a unique situation in that the bathtub is not in my home & I needed someone that could refinish it in their shop. Sharp's was extremely kind & told me they do it on site only and referred me to Frank Devries of Devries Refinishing who could do it in his shop. They told me they had trained Frank and highly recommend him. Because Sharp's has such a good reputation, I was grateful for the referral and valued what they said. Frank was extremely nice on the phone and very helpful. His price was in line with the others I had been quoted, however, I didn't go with the refinishing after all simply because it cost a little more to do than what I expected. I would have used him if I decided to do it because he was great at returning calls, professional and very helpful. It's always a pleasure to find someone with such courtesy.
