Response from Chip's Kitchens and Baths
I was on time to the appointment thinking you wanted a kitchen remodel. When I arrived I discovered that you had someone else install unfinished cabinets that you were unhappy with. I explained that I don't usually repair existing cabinets, but I would give you a price to replace the doors and drawer guides, make the other needed adjustments and have my painter come in and finish the cabinets in place. doing them in place requires masking everything around the cabinets and protecting the rest of the house during the process. We always take our cabinets to a spray booth and have them finished before installing them. Because you had granite installed on your new cabinets that was not an option. After looking everything over I told you I would have a bid the middle of the following week. I did in fact email you an itemized bid the following Wednesday. I'm not sure what else I could have done as far as customer service. I was actually trying to help you out of a bad situation. I have no idea why you never contacted me with questions or to discuss the bid. I feel that you had a bad experience with other contractors and are taking it out on me with this review.
