We placed two claims over the years and both times B-Cool Air came out, took the $75.00 deductible and then states it is not covered. We then did research on the home warranty company which uses B-Cool Air and found multiple complaints of poor service.

Our a/c was leaking water from the emergency drain pan. We called out home warranty company who sent out Paul from B-Cool Air. Paul (owner) showed up on time and was courteous when he arrived. He climbed in our attic and looked at the unit the went outside and checked there as well. He came back in and told us that the problem was with the main drain line being clogged. The water was going into the overflow pan and had rusted the pan. The water was then leaking through our ceiling. Paul recommended that we let him clear the drain line with compressed air. He informed us that the warranty company wouldn't cover the problem and he quoted us a price of $250 to perform the work. We wrote him the check and he did his work and left. This seemed to address the problem. Fast forward 3-4 weeks later. Water started dripping from our ceiling again. When I climbed up to look at it, the overflow pan was full of water again and had started leaking. I called Paul and told him what was going on. Paul immediately told me that drains could clog up again and he didn't warranty that service. I was flabbergasted. I asked him if that was common practice to charge someone $250 and the problem arise again not even a month later. He told me he could come back out and perform the work again but that it would be another $250. I asked him if a month was a reasonable time frame to expect a drain to clog up again and he stated that it was. He became extremely rude at this point and stated that if I had a problem with this I could go to someone else. There was no attempt to make this right. Paul gladly took our money after doing a poor job and did not want to have to deal with fixing his poor workmanship. He obviously did not care based on his attitude towards me when I called the second time. Based on my research, this is not the first problem that people have had with this company and the owner, Paul. There are numerous reviews online that spell out similar problems with this man. I have hired an attorney who wrote him a letter but to date, there has been no response. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
