WATCH OUT! You better be happy with the furniture because after 24 hours they are keeping 30% of the sales price. That is highly deceptive and unfair to the customer.
Description of Work: We purchased a sectional from Ashley. The furniture quality is fair and we were not looking to invest a huge amount of $ into the furniture. The sales person got a little upset because we did not want their protection plan. I went ahead and got the furniture because we had been looking and this is what we wanted. I am not happy with the company and even at customer service they were a bit rude.

They told us they had a 30 day guarantee if we didn't like our purchase. But that was a lie. They have a "No Returns" policy and rely on you reading it somewhere on a posting in the store.
Description of Work: Most all their furniture comes from China but we were told it comes from Mississippi. Well..... that's where the warehouse is that collects the containers from China.

The lady that helped us was very professional and helpful. They were very courteous when I was there. They delivered the furniture for us the day and time they said they would.

Terrible experience. I asked the salesman (assistant store manager) where the piece was made and he told me "Mississippi". When I got the piece home and went to open the box, I saw the word "China" in big print on one side. I immediately asked for a refund, based on misrepresentation. They told me they don't make refunds, even though the assistant manager had told me if I wasn't satisfied during the first 30 days in my home, they would come out and pick up my purchase for an adjustment. The store manager called me a liar for accusing his assistant manager of saying those things to me and my wife. I wrote the BBB and asked their help in my demand for a refund. When Ashley finally, reluctantly, agreed to a refund, the people at the warehouse were astounded because nobody ever got one before. It still took me over two (2) weeks and several phone calls to finally get my credit as promised.

Tables arrived as promised but were not completely set up. Knobs were not attached properly to open cabinet doors. One hinge was slightly bent. I called to report the damaged hinge and was told that they would mail the hinge to me and would come out to replace it when it arrived. It's been 3 months and I still have not received the hinge.

THERE WAS A SEVEN WEEK WAIT ON THE DELIVERY. UPON DELIVERY THEY DAMAGED THE SOFA, WHICH DID NOT MAKE ME A HAPPY CAMPER. THEY DIDN'T REALLY SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE DAMAGE EITHER.

THE SALESPERSON I DEALT WITH WAS VERY ATTENTIVE AND COURTEOUS. SHE HELPED ME FIND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AT A FAIR PRICE. SHE ALSO WAS AVAILABLE TO TAKE MY PHONE CALLS WHEN I CALLED BACK WITH QUESTIONS. HOWEVER, THE PERSON THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE WHEN I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS VERY RUDE. HE PUT ME ON HOLD, SAYING ONLY 'HOLD ON', AND LEFT ME ON HOLD FOR A VERY LONG TIME. FINALLY ANOTHER CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON CAME TO THE PHONE TO HELP ME. THE FURNITURE WAS DELIVERED EXACTLY WHEN IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE, AND THE MEN THAT DELIVERED IT WERE VERY CAREFUL TO PUT IT IN THE CORRECT SPOT AND NOT TO DAMAGE IT.
