Horrible! Bob is a very nice guy. He will tell you he will call you to set up an install, but doesn't. He doesn't answer his cel phone or return calls. I went to the shop more than six times in two weeks. If he was there, he could not find my folder, or he would call me by noon, or the next day... etc. The phone calls NEVER came. Today I went to the shop. There was a woman there who had been waiting nine months for her carpet. Another couple pulled up very concerned because they couldn't contact him. Evidently this used to be a great place. He came highly recommended. I don't know what happened, but essentially he has stolen 300 dollars from me which I never expect to see.
Description of Work: The only service actually performed was their taking of my money. If the carpet was ever ordered, I never saw it!

He offered a 5% discount if I paid it all up front. Sounded good. Giving him any money was a bad idea. After more than two months of broken promises, I told him that I was cancelling and wanted my money back in full. He wants a "restocking fee". For the record, there is no such clause on the contract. I told him that is unacceptable. Since I gave him the check, NOBODY has been to my house at all. He has rarely called and rarely returns phone calls. I have now engaged my lawyer to get my money back. I wouldn't hire him to sweep my floor.
Description of Work: Was hired to replace the hardwood floor in part of house, install new flooring in another room.

On the day the carpet was laid, we discovered that the quality of the new carpet was less than the original. We contacted the owner with our concern that same day and he told us that after we had vacuumed a few times, it would make it thicker. It was obvious to her that it was not. We provided samples of both the old and new carpet and in the days and weeks that followed, the owner promised us that he would take investigate further. After subsequent contact, the samples were sent in for testing by an independent lab and it confirmed our concerns that the quality of the installed carpet was of a lower quality. They said their fault fault, but he would make sure we were taken care of. There were numerous contacts throughtout the year, but our carpet was never replaced. As we continued to contact them in 2009, their position changed. They said it was now going to cost them $300 more for the new carpet (apparently the first supplier no longer manufactured our specific carpet. We had subsequently agreed to a substitute from a different manufactuer). Their position changed recently when they said they could not replace our carpet unless we paid $500+ to cover the labor. During this time, multiple phone calls were not returned as promised (specific dates and times) or not returned at all. On one call, one of their managers swore and called me inappropriate names. Two weeks ago I went to the store to personally sit down and discuss the situation with the owner. I even offered at that time to split the difference. I was turned down. He said he would try to go back the manufacturer and get more money back from them. Promised calls were not made and two weeks later, still no resolution. A week ago Friday, he promised to call me on Monday to let me know if he could more than offered. No call on Monday. I called and left voicemail on Monday, Tuesday and Friday on his personal number he had provided to me with no return calls. After not being able to contact him by phone, I went to their business and his position had not changed.AllFloors has not kept their committments, continually been unresponsive, kept delaying and when all is said and done, still have not replaced our carpet. To make matters worse he received a refund from the first supplier that he has benefited from.
Description of Work: We hired AllFloors to replace a portion of our carpeting, damaged due to a foundation leak. Since not all the carpet was damaged, it was important to match the original carpet with the newly ordered model no.
Every aspect of the job was a nightmare. Tile was ordered to laid in a random pattern in the kitchen, it was laid in a grid pattern and had to be torn out and redone. The counter-tops in the both bathrooms and the up-bar in the kitchen had to be re-cut up to three times and were so messed up that more stone had to be bought to complete the job. One countertop was backward (L shape instead of backward L shape), sink holes were so far back on the countertop that the faucets wouldn't fit, holes were off center so the sink wouldn't line up with the faucets, faucet holes so far back the faucet barely extended over the bowl of the sink. Carpet wasn't picked up in time so it had to be reordered and delayed the job another two weeks. They didn't notice that they didn't carpet an enormous closet until I pointed it out then had order more carpet. Mixed tile in shower, then fixed it with mixed lot. They eventually abandoned the job.
Description of Work: Rebuild shower and roman tub in tile and travertine, ceramic flooring in kitchen and baths, carpeting, engineered wood flooring, granite counter-tops in kitchen and baths, backsplashes.

NEVER, NEVER use this company. If you think, ''Oh, it couldn't have been that bad, I think I'll use them,'' you will be sorry you did.
Description of Work: We were recommended All Floors through our contractor. They put in hardwood, carpet and ceramic tile in our house that was built in 1969. They were supposed to lay the tile in the kitchen on a diagonal, which they did not. They put down the hardwoods, which are ''popping'' in numerous places, meaning they did not use adequate adhesive to keep it in place. They put down the quarter round UNPAINTED, and our contractor had to go back and paint this which was on top of the new flooring. They COULD have painted the quarter round before putting it down...! Finally and most recently, they put in our granite countertops in the kitchen and bathroom. They also put in our kitchen sink. Two weeks ago, I noticed it was literally falling out. The epoxy was not holding it flush with the granite. It took two weeks and a threat of legal action to get the situation fixed.
