This company was very responsive, all the way from the initial contact with office personel, individual that preformed the estimate and the installers. The installers were efficient and professional, it took about 1 1/2 hours from when they arrived until completed.

This is my second revue of this company. I had used them a week or so ago, and was extremely unhappy. They called and are refunding my money and was sending someone over to fix my garage door correctly. Ray called and said he was on his way. He arrived shortly and was very nice, polite and professional. They had only used the tech I had seen before only once and they let him go immediately. They only called him because I had called at night and they were doing there best to help me out. Ray fixed the problem correctly and now I am so happy. He would not charge me either. I am changing my rating from an F to an A. Thank you Alamo Door and Awning. :)

They were excellent. They were really good and took care of the problem. They were able to come out quickly. The service man was very knowledgeable, and efficient. I would highly recommend them. They were very good overall, and I got exactly what I needed at a good price.

We used Angie's List to get estimates of work from three garage companies listed here. After Alamo got to the house and gave us an estimate, they CHARGED US 29.95!!!!!!!!!! I feel like we were taken advantage of. The company should have told us in advance that there would be a service charge, even if no service is provided. This is an addition to my original review. After a few days, a very nice and professional woman gave me a call from Alamo Door. She explained how important it was to her company that I felt that I got treated fairly. She said she was sorry for the misunderstanding between us and promptly refunded the charge for the estimate of work. I must say that I was surprised, both on how powerful Angies List reviews can be, and how much Alamo Door wants to provide a good experience to its customers. Although I feel that the customer should be told up front on the phone, before hand, that there will be a charge to get an estimate from them, I have to say I can appreciate them reaching out to try to make it right. Thank you.

I could not believe how quiet the door was when he was done. Then adjustment we great and he showed me how to program additional remotes. I now need a main control remote for the door and I am going to contact them again.

Repairman called ahead and arrived on time. Performed service in a prompt manner. Did work as promised. Garage door was noisy and off-balance. Opens and closes smoothly and quietly.

I was able to schedule my appointment via email. The email was returned promptly with details of the appointment. I was given a phone call to inform me the tech was on the way and he arrived when promised. The technician did the work...in and out...in less than 30 minutes. I was very pleased.

It was a waste of time to buy the Angie special offer on the garage door reconditioning, as i never had time to use it.

The service representative was on time, polite and did the job as outlined by the deal. We had an issue with our garage door mysteriously going back up, even though nothing was in the way of the sensors. The tech replaced the door wheels and we haven't had a problem since. Well worth the cost of the Angie's List deal.

my garage door has non-standard long rollers, the service man had to go get them and then he put them on at no extra charge. he also gave me really helpful tips on maintaining my doors

The spring broke on my garage door on Friday night late. I thought I would be out of luck for the weekend. I called them on Saturday and they came out within two hours and fixed the spring in about 45 minutes. I used the Angie's list $35 off coupon.

I was very pleased with the professionalism and knowledge of the serviceman. I highly recommend Alamo Door and Awning. I will definitely call them again to service or do repairs to my garage door.

Very professional and gave me extra service for free, he found a broken hinge and replaced it. Thankful he came so quickly on a Sat to fix our broken gargage door.

Overall, Brian did a great job in replacing the rollers and accomplishing periodic maintenance actions on both doors. He was very knowledgeable in his operation. After replacing the rollers, adjusting the rails and lubricating the door joints he performed a system function check of the doors to my satisfaction. Brian even went so far as to educate me on periodic maintenance I can do on the doors to enhance their life expectancy. Very professional! Highly recommended.

ananizerhe service person preformed exactly as described They billed this as seriously discounted service. The service provided would not be worth what they say is regular price. The work was completed in less than 20 minutes. Service person spent more time with me trying to sell more expensive services. I have to say that it was worth the $99 as a learning experience. I now will be able to do exactly what he did at a third of the cost.

I purchased an Angie's List coupon for my garage doors to be serviced and brought into great working order. I just feel that I didn't get much for my money. The service technician replaced a couple of rollers on the doors and told me that I will probably need to replace the opening mechanism soon. That was it. I will be more careful which Angie's List coupons I buy in the furture.
