Representative was helpful, courteous, and willing to throw in some extras that he noticed without charging me extra because he had the supplies on hand to quickly fix the issue. Would definitely use them again!

We had purchased a big deal for the service. They did what we asked them to do, and they did it at the price they quoted. We paid more than on the big deal, because we had them do extra services.

Bate and switch by the tech that was dispatched. Was given a price of $159.00 over the phone that suddenly changed to $275.00 when the tech got to my house. He refused to do the work as quoted over the phone and was rude to my wife. When I called the office to complain, Alamo agreed to return to do the work for the original price. At that point, I didn't want same person back in my house. I have used this company in the past with no issues.

They called me back within 15 minutes and came out about a half hour after I called him. They busted their behinds and got both of the springs fixed. Him and the young man were very decent fellows. I really like both of them. I would highly recommend them over anyone else to do garage door repairs. He gives exceptional customer service.

I had purchased the $ 99.00 deal two weeks prior, but the day before the appt. my door came off the tracks. The tech. Had the replacement parts on his truck and made the necessary repairs.

They were great! They explained they had one job ahead of mine, gave me an estimated time, arrived promptly, and repaired my mess. I had purchased a coupon for a garage door tupne up and they were unable to apply it to the job, but that's okay because I know I will be calling them in the future.

Alamo did a wonderful job on my garage door. The door is over fifteen years old and has never had any sort of maintenance on it. Allamo came out and changed all the rollers on the door and cleaned and lubed the spring. They also installed a surge protector for the garage door opener. They did a fantastic job - the garage door opener looks like it is brand new. The service technician was extremely knowledgeable and taught me a lot. They also sold me a maintenance kit to help me keep the door looking like new.

It went very well. It costed me another $69 for the cost of the parts that they had to change out but it wasn't bad. They responded very quickly to me taking the deal, they called ahead of time, they were here on time, they did their work very efficiently and very fast, they were in and out and were very courteous.

He also tried to repair the problem that I had with the door not opening and closing. He was not able to complete the repair. He did diagnose the problem correctly. I had a bad circuit board in the new opener that I bought. That was not a problem that he could fix. I ordered a new board and it solved my problem.

The service was fast but efficient. Provided additional material on maintaining the door and what to watch for so I did not have problems in the future. Very professional. Would recommend them to friends. They also called ahead of time to give me an estimated time of arrival and called again once they arrived. Very satisfied with service provided.

Our garage door stopped working and, after we noticed that one of the springs was broken, we decided to call somebody to have them replaced. We called Alamo Door and Awning Saturday first thing (9am) and they were able to schedule our service very soon (between 11 and 1pm). Due to unforeseen circumstances at previous calls, the technician was able to make it to our house only at about 3:30pm (they called to let us know about the delay). The strings were replaced and we were also advised to change the rollers since our current ones might last for another year or so and to reduce the noise. We went ahead and had the rollers changed as well although there was a chance we would have been able to replaced them ourselves (for less). The technician was friendly and professional. He gave us advice on how to maintain the springs/rollers and answered all our questions. The Angie's list coupon was honored.

It worked out very well. They were very timely and efficient, and I would recommend them to others.

They were a day late coming out for the estimate and was there for less than an hour and charged almost the same price as what the awning cost.

as far as I know ok...the job seemed to take no time at all and the garage door seemed to be quieter though I realized after he left that I didn't actually see the older parts that were to be replaced

A great job from the phone call with the nice person who setup the appt. to the technician Wade. He was prompt, courteous and professional as he nicely explained (in writing) the things that needed to be done to prevent further damage to the door. I felt no pressure of up sale as he explained that it made him feel better than not letting me know. With the coupon from Angie the cost was just what was quoted over the phone. They called 30 minutes ahead of the appointed time to confirm that I was there and arrived on time. He showed me what he did and was very personable.

I live in another state and own a house in Lakeside, Tx. I found Alamo via Angie's list and was able to get repairs to the garage doors that resolved the problems. The Alamo technician was able to replace a garage door spring for an old door. I then asked him to install weather stripping on the concrete floor of the garage that was allowing a lot of rainwater in. It was not a standard job. He did the research and found materials that would work. According to my renter, the problem has been completely corrected.
