They were excellent. Their response time was 15 minutes and their pricing was great. The job was done within an hour and ten minutes. The service man was just superb. My key pad hadn’t worked for a while, and instead of just trying to sell me a new one, he tried everything he could first to fix it. I really appreciated that and eventually agreed to just purchase a new one. I would recommend them to anyone.

It was fine. I'm not unhappy with what I purchased. The first person that they sent was a true salesman. He presented one option to me. When the guy came to install it, he said, "Oh, I'm surprised you're buying this with this kind of door." I felt, at that moment, that there were probably other options that were less expensive that weren't presented to me. I knew I needed some work on the garage door. It was shaking when it went up and down. I wished they had laid out several options for me rather than present the best and most expensive one as what I needed to do. They were very prompt. They kept me informed of the status of the person coming to my house. They came within the timeframe that they said they would. Everything else was great. The guy that installed it was just surprise that I'd purchased that one because my door was so light. They were normally for big, heavy double garage doors. They called me within a day of purchasing the big deal. They gave me a lifetime warranty. I would call them first if I had any problems with what they installed.

Everything was great. They were very personable and the service turned out well. I would use them again if needed.

It was great. The guy who came to do the work was very nice. They came on time. I have no problems at all.

The company was called on Monday. Technician came by on Tuesday morning to evaluate the doors and give us a price. Set appointment for Wednesday afternoon. Arrived promptly. Repaired broken parts on one door; replaced old springs with new torsion springs on both doors (our idea before the initial call was made); replaced rollers. . . . Doors now move up and down smoothly and considerably quieter. All this was done efficiently and in a reasonable amount of time. Excellent communication with the office and the technician. Considered the price to be fair. Will use them again when needed.

The service was good. The price was good.

The serviceman demonstrated that he cared about his work and in helping people to maintain the quality of the garage door. I was shown the difference between the rollers I currently had on my garage door and the new type of rollers available that could extend the life-time of the door. The price seemed reasonable to me ($10 for each roller). I liked that the serviceman showed me how to maintain the door during the year.

A very knowledgable technician arrived on time, completed the project in a timely fashion, and gave us a $35 discount for being a Angie's list member! I would highly reccomend this company.

They were very responsive and prompt. Their professionalism instilled confidence and they are returning to do a larger job in a couple of weeks. From the lady that answered the phone and set up the appointment to the technician, they were great.

They did real good. It was great. They were professional.

Everything turned out fine. They were able to come out shortly after I had purchased the deal and we had no problems scheduling. It took no time at all and there was one technician here doing the work. He arrived on time for the appointment and everything is still working fine with the garage door.

It was over priced and I don't think it was really helpful. The service...I don't know if it was misleading. We didn't get what we wanted.

The big deal worked out okay although I really did not know if I was getting enough value for my money. I had a subsequent problem with the garage door so I called them out again. One piece of equipment was fixed but then there was another problem a few days later and I had to call them back again.

Door now runs quieter and smoother. Good job!

Alamo did a wonderful job of repairing my garage door.They recommended the rollers be replaced in the near future. The entire experience was excellent. The technician was very professional and expletive. He explained all problems and costs clearly and completely. He was very punctual, he called before arriving. I will use Alamo Door & Awning in the future and plan to have them do the remaining garage door services recommended by the technician in the near future.

The new door is great. Would use them again but don't think I will have to for many years.

To be fair, the only issue I had issue was the price. The technician was extremely affable, and gave me tips on how to maintain the garage door and make adjustments for the future. For this, I guess it was worth the price, but I now see similar "deals of the day" for as low as $35, while I paid $99, I believe. I would use them again if I had a problem that I couldn't fix myself.

It was okay. There was nothing to be happy about. They came out, did it and left. I thought the price was a little high for all they did.

Travis arrived within the quoted time, completed the job and left STILL within that quoted 2 hour time limit. Travis was friendly, courteous and should be commended for a job well done.

I had stressed that I needed an early morning appointment so as to lose as little time off work as possible. I was told someone would arrive between 7 and 9. Even a 9 o'clock arrival would have been too late for my satisfaction, but the tech did not show until after 10. I called the office around 9:15 and left a message. Twenty minutes later I called again after I'd received no return call. The person who answered the phone had not listened to voicemail. She told me the tech was finishing up a job and would be at my house soon. Let's say I am disappointed at their lax interpretation of time all the way around. The service took care of the problem, but I will not use them again, because they did not understand the urgency of my needs.

Travis did a great job! He was friendly and professional. My doors have never worked better. One of my garage door openers had not worked for some time. Travis had the right gear needed for the repair and had it fixed and adjusted in no time. Alamo is who I will call in the future.

Company came out in January and replaced springs and wire on garage door (basic repair in this business). They told me I had a two year warranty. Now, think about this, 10 months later, my garage door cable comes off the spool. Their response -NOT COVERED, why? Because the wire THEY replaced and THEY wound came off the spool. Warranty only covers if it breaks. Give that some thought, if they don't do it right and it fails because of poor workmanship, they won't cover it. If it fails because it breaks, they cover it. The likely hood of a steel cable breaking in 10 months is low, the likely hood of it failing because of workmanship is great. They will not cover their work. Shameful way to do business. Read all the positive reviews and this is for people who had no problem, the real character of a company comes when they have to stand behind what they do. This company fails, I would recommend you search someone else on Angie's List and discuss with them how they handle problems, this company handles them dismally.

I asked for them to come out and give me a quote for some work I needed doing to my door. They came out took measurements and I told them exactly what I wanted. They were supposed to get back to me with a quote and never heard a thing back from them. Not very impressed.
