Wow. On time. Did what I expected and then some. Made recommendations on what I can do during the interim. My door moves so much more smoothly now, and quieter as well. I wish I had done this earlier.

They did a great job. The door opens quieter, less noisy. They fixed stripped bolts and lubricated the door. They fixed the garage door opener by adding special grease.

Felt the service tech did the basics. Was not very responsive or helpful when asked about replacing weather stripping. Simply "they no longer make stripping for this garage door".Lubricated parts which I previously did. I could not tell any difference in his lubricating. The door is still loud when opening and closing. Not sure it was worth the $99.00. Maybe if tech was more accomodating with suggestion on improving overall performance of door I would have felt we got our money's worth.

Garage door was a bit noisy and unsteady while opening and closing so I bought their coupon ($100) to replace rollers & to lubricate the moving parts. They said the soonest they could scheduled me was a week out. Did they do what they were specifically hired to do (fix the noise and unsteady door)? Yes, they did. Would I use this company again? No, I would not.

I called at 9:00 in the morning and they arrived around 11:00am the same day. He gave me a price quote and changed the spring on the garage door. He was gone within 30 minutes. Very happy with the service!!!

I joined Angies List a few weeks ago, and this was my first time using a company list. Actually I used this company from one of the Big Deal emails sent to me. My appointment was between 8-10 am, servive man called just after before 8, and was here, shortly afterwards. I thought it was great in that I've never even considered having any preventive maintenance done to a garage door. I can honestly say, it was money well spent. Service guy was professional, answered my questions, explained what he was doing, and how I could maintain the door. Even provided me with garage door opener lub, and a can of teflon lubricant for the hinges and rollers.I didn't realize just how loud and creaky my door was when opening and closing it. I just assumed that was just how it was supposed to sound. It is a service everyone should have done, and I will use again when it's time to have the door serviced again. I am looking forward to using more of the Big Deal offers in Angie's List since I have a foreclosure fixer upper with lot's left to do. So far I am happy with the service this list provides.

Extremely pleased with the repair. The service technician (Derrick) arrived as scheduled,quickly assessed the needed repairs and gave me a detailed written estimate. The work was performed immediately, all replaced parts were picked up and he then serviced the entire system and alerted me to when and what monthly or bi-annaul maintenance was needed. Derrick and his assistant were very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Definitely would recommend these guys to my friends.

Our garage door (double wide) stopped going up due to a broken spring on one side. I contacted Alamo since the company was close and rated as excellent on Angies List. Although I called after hours, the company called me back the following day and told me they could get someone out the following day. The repairman was prompt and quickly identified the issue. He did recommend that they usually replace both springs but did not pressure me to do so. After he game me an estimate, I gave him the go ahead and he quickly effected the repairs. The layout of the charges was as follows: 1 service call ($29.00), spring labor ($75.00), 2 springs ($175.00), 1 center bearing ($15.00) and 1 maintenance pack ($24.00). They gave me a $30 discount for using them off of Angies List. The repairman was very professional. I would use the company again.

They came out and fixed the problem. They told us what was wrong and explained it to us. They explained the price, so I didn’t feel like I was getting ripped off. The guy was honest and very customer friendly. They did wonderful work.

Our garage door opener was not working properly. Since we have had problems with it before and the repairs didn't last, we told the technician that we thought we would need to replace the opener entirely this time. However, after checking things out, the Alamo technician assured us that a good tune-up and some adjustments would take care of our problems and avoid the expense of replacement at this time. The garage door is working perfectly now - quiet and smooth. We are appreciative of the technicians honesty and professionalism.

Replaced both springs and all rollers. Glad they were able to come out on 12/23 since my car was in the garage and I couldn't get out and was planning on going out of town the next day.

The spring had broken on the garage door. They said that they could replace the broken one, but they also advised that it would be best to have two springs installed, and I agreed to that. They did an excellent job. I would rate them highly.

Experience with Alamo door & Awning was more than I expected. I just purchased a house and we were moving in when the door came off track. The tracks were bent very badly and we also had rollers that had come out too. I called Alamo and they did everything they said they would do.They gave me a estimate in writing before doing the work. Price for the work preformed was very reasonable. When I set the appointment they were on time and they also called when they were on the way. I would highly recommend this company.

THE TECHNICIAN WAS VERY HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS. HE TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN WHAT WAS NEEDED AT THE TIME OF SERVICE AND INSTALLATION. THE WORK WAS DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER BY THE TECHNICIAN. HE THAN WENT OVER WHAT WORK HE HAD DONE AND EXPLAINED WHAT WE NEEDED TO DO TO MAINTAIN THE UNIT. WE WERE PLEASED WITH THE WORK THAT WAS DONE.
