I told him about previous experiences I’ve had with other garage door companies and my garage door opener, and he explained to me something that other companies had missed. He was very thorough and told me I shouldn’t have any more problems with the garage door opener!

Went well. Technician was eager to teach me how to take care of the doors and when to oil the rollers, etc.

Great. The workman arrived promptly accompanied by a younger apprentice. They worked quickly and accurately and cleaned everything up afterwards. They then talked me through the monthly routine to make sure I understood it fully.

The repairman was prompt and nice enough. It doesn't seem like a great value since only 2 rollers needed replacing but that was all I needed, I guess. The door is working great.

The technician came out and replaced the rollers, reset the hinges,adjusted the door, checked the tension, lubricated the spring and the hinges and finally check the door to see it was working safely. The technician came out and did exactly what the Big Deal called for, nothing more or less. He made one suggestion about the door. He said the rollers would help, but I needed a new door. He quoted me a price that I thought was a little high, I've seen garage doors installed for $200 less than what he quoted me. He said I could apply the $99 I spent on the Big Deal towards a new door instead of replacing the rollers. I declined his offer and told him to just to replace the rollers. The door is quieter than it was before. I think $99 is well worth the price for the work that was done. I would recommend this service if offered again.

We scheduled an appointment, and the technician arrived within the service window. The garage door's steel rollers were replaced with nylon ones, and the door is MUCH quieter than it was. I had requested that the door's bottom rubber weatherstrip be replaced, as a chunk of it was already missing, and it was in very poor shape - the receptionist assured me that the techs had "rolls of it" on the truck. While the seal was replaced, at a very low cost, the tech didn't have enough black seal to span the entire door, so he patched in a three-foot strip of grey. We did get a price reduction, but I have to admit the color mismatch does bother me a *little* bit, but I'll get over it - it is just a garage door, after all, and it doesn't face the street. I'm just glad that the door is very quiet, leaves and such won't be as likely to blow in under the door, and it was repaired at a reasonable cost. Overall, a positive experience.

The technicians came and adjusted the garage door and garage door opener, lubricated the appropriate parts and replaced the rollers. They were punctual, courteous and answered all my questions.

They employee's were on time and very nice to deal with. They were fast and did a great job

The company was very professional and prompt from the point of scheduling the job through completion of the service call; they followed up to ensure that the service was satisfactory.

Service was accomplished in a timely fashion, The quote was incorrect as I have an oversized garage door and the had to supply two additional wheels, I paid and additional twenty dollars for the wheels, The following week I received a call from the company stating that I would be getting a refund for the additional twenty dollars too which I told them it was not necessary to do so, and the did not as of this writing. I did suggest that they might want to ask the customer how many wheels their door has to help qualify what the customers needs are so that they might be better prepared. I did notice that one of the hinges was defective on my door which they did not pick up on when they serviced the door. So they missed an opportunity to do a repair on my door that would have generated more business for them. I went to a local home center and picked up the hinge that it needed and replaced it myself. The company provided the service ordered in a timely manner.

I was so grateful for the recommendations I found on Angie's List! The staff at Alamo was so friendly and helpful. I was able to get an appointment for the next afternoon. Derrick arrived within the appt. window, quickly assessed the problem and had my garage door operational within 30 minutes! WOW!!! It's never worked so smoothly or quietly! It sounds like new! The fee was reasonable and I appreciated the $35 coupon.

They called a day ahead of time and again when they were on there way. Derrick was very professional. While i had bought an Angie's List deal for $99 to get my garage door reconditioned and the ball bearings replaced (it had been making a terrible screeching noise), he pointed out that my bearings were new and didn't need replacing. However, he did give me the new bearings to keep for when the existing ones wear out ($80 value). He did fix several bolts that had come loose and he lubricated the door. When i asked about the cost of the lubricant, he said they have a $24 kit that contains several items for maintenance ... and because i didn't need the bearing replacement, he gave me the kit for free! I thought he was very ethical, and you can tell that Derrick wanted to make sure that i received value for his company's services. I was extremely pleased and will recommend (and use) Alamo again. And, best of all, my garage door is very quiet now!

We had been having trouble with our garage door closing. I bought the deal for garage door reconditioning and roller replacement and when I scheduled the visit, I let them know that we may also need service to get the door to work correctly. Alamo told us that they would invoice for whatever extra service we needed when they came for the reconditioning. The representative was able to fix the garage door through the reconditioning and roller replacement and didn't charge us anything extra. And now the garage door is quieter, too!

We had scheduled a time and they never came, I called them and they said they never had it on the books. It was the first time I had used them. They did a good job. They have to come back in to take a look at the door because some of the screws seem to be loose.

Garage Door was VERY noisy and rough sounding when opening/closing with remote. It is now very quiet and runs VERY smoothly! I'm amazed. I was initially thinking I needed a new door... it just needs a quick tune-up! Call them today and make your neighborhood a quieter place! Calliing Alamo Door was a great experience. I recently moved into my house. The previous owner had let a lot of maintenance issues slide. The garage door was extremely loud when opening and closing. I bought an Angie's list deal and was extremely happy with the service. The guys were late but the office called ahead to let me know so it was not a problem. After they cleaning/lubed and changed the wheels, the garage door is almost quiet when opening and closing. Much smoother too. Then the service team told me what I needed to do to keep the door in better operating conditions. Very helpful. I would definitely use this company again.
