Alamo schedules the tune up for the same week. Tech arrived on time. Very professional. Went above and beyond the scope of the service.

The service technician, Brian, was prompt, pleasant and helpful and quickly exchanged 30 year old rollers on both garage doors for new teflon rollers. He also lubricated the moving parts, and instructed me as to how often to lubricate the doors. He also gave me a quote as to how much it would cost to replace some trim around the garage door openings, but I chose to not purchase it at that time. I would hire Alamo Doors again if needed.

They did a really good job so I hired them again. They do really good work.

I had come across Alamo Garage Door as a Angie's List Big Deal and had purchased a garage door reconditioning and roller replacement for $99.00. I called right away and the receptionist was friendly and gave me the requested date and time that I wanted, which was a Saturday morning. My technician arrived on time as expected. He was very friendly and got right to work. He seemed very knowledgeable from the start and explained what he was doing as he was working, which I appreciate. He did a great job with the door, and it was much quieter than it has ever been, even when new. The only real issue I had that prevented a perfect score is that I felt a bit upsold on some items that I really did not want. I was a bit skeptical that they could make much profit when making an offer like the one I received. Before he started his work he quickly assessed that there some things that I needed moving forward, including a surge protector and some lubricants for the hinges and door for the future to keep it operating smoothly. He prepared an additional invoice and presented it to me for an additional $50.00 for these items. I reluctantly agreed to it, but felt a bit scammed by the process. No big deal, but I wish that when a company makes a Big Deal offer, they would hold off on the upsell and just do the work that is already paid for. I could have declined, but honestly didn't feel like getting the hard sell so I just bought the stuff that I could have probably picked up at Home Depot for half that price. Even with that being said I was happy with the overall service and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future for my service needs. I will just be a little better prepared next time.

They were excellent. They did a very good job. The guy was on time and he did the work real quick. He even gave me a battery for my garage door opener. I would recommend them. I would absolutely use them again.

He was prompt and professional. He stayed until the job was done. He also provided good suggestions on how to keep the garage door in working order.

My unit was operating very loudly, I then called to get it serviced, they preceeded to fix the problem and had it done in a very timely manner. I would definitely would use them again and reccomend to anyone.

From the start they were very courteous and fast. Brian explained my options and suggested to install two springs instead given it's a two car garage door and if this happened again it wouldn't lock my car in. Very pleasant and kept the area clean. lubed the door afterwards, tested it, and then had me run it up and down to make sure I was happy with the work. The work provided was exactly what the dispatcher quoted me and they took the coupon from Angie's list as well. Highly recommend them and will use them again later this year for regular maintenance work. Thank you Alamo.

The office staff was friendly and was able to get a tech out to me within 2 hours of me calling. However when the tech arrived he asked me to give him 15 mins to do a full inspection. I left to go do something else, so I do not know how extensive his inspection was. The estimate he came back with first was $800 ($200 labor, $45 cables, $50 side tracks, $50 rollers, $400+ opener), including replacing the side track, all the rollers - although they were a yr old and fine condition, replacing the cables and the opener. When I said that was out of my budget, they brought the price down to $673. He was also trying to sell me on a new door, although it's a year old and had one little dent at the bottom. I decided to wait and contact my home warranty company. They put in a work order. The new company came out later that night, straightened out the side track instead of replacing, said all my rollers were fine, rewired my sensors so that my opener would work properly - there was nothing wrong with the circuit board as suggested by Alamo's tech - and replaced the cables. They did all of this and tightened the springs back and checked to make sure all other parts were properly tightened withing an hour and a half and for $169. I was really disappointed since Alamo had such good reviews online.

They were out in a couple of days and showed up on time. Job was done well and the technician seemed very competent. The only problem was the main office. I could not get a copy of the receipt. I was asked for my email information so they could provide me with a receipt. I gave my email information to the technician and waited a couple of days, no receipt. I called the office and gave them the information again and waited, no receipt. A week later I called again and had to threaten to stop payment if they did not send me a receipt. I got my receipt. I felt bad, but that was the only way I could get their attention, I needed that for my rental records. Not really sure if I could recommend them based on the main office. There are many other businesses doing a good job and taking care of their customers.

I checked Angie's List and called Alamo Garage Door Repair (had a coupon) and quickly got an appointment. The young man that came did the work quickly and efficiently and replaced all rollers, and gave the garage door (double door) a tune-up

The technician arrived on time and was very friendly and courteous. He performed the work quickly, and provided a demonstration on how to fix an issue that we had been having with our garage door in cold weather.

We contacted Alamo Garage Door Repair through a coupon from Angie's list. Scheduling the appointment was easy and the serviceman,? Jerry or James arrived on time. The work was completed quickly and to our satisfaction. When I saw the improvements in the door, I was sorry that didn't have my side done too.

They came out to replace the rollers and do a basic tune up (Angie's Big Deal) but were unable to. They did replace my garage door and were able to do it that day. They helped me pick out a door that would suit my needs but would not break the bank. They were done and cleaned up the work site in no time. They even removed the old door.

I contacted Alamo on Friday to set up an appointment the following Monday. The technician showed up when scheduled, was professional, pleasant, did the job and was finished with in 30 minutes. No problems, very smooth and I will use them again.

I showed him the problems with my garage door: It was very difficult for me to open and the locking mechanism was not functioning. It was cold so I retreated inside and he said he would ring the door bell when finished. He finished in about 30 minutes and showed me how well the door worked. I tried it and was very pleased. I told him that I had another company do a tune-up and was told I needed a new door and they had used WD40 on the rollers and left. He explained that WD40 wasn't good for this application and told me what to use to lubricate a garage door and where to get it. He was knowledgeable and gave me an invoice stating what was done and also gave me a decal so that I would have their name for future work This was an Angies List Great Deal and it really was one.

This was a Big Deal offer on Angie's list. The price was very attractive. I was so impressed with the results I had the second garage door done and the service technician offered this at the same low price of $99. The doors are very quite and I'm sure the door opener will last much longer as a result.
